Need to create responsibility for scam and clean the market by removing abandoned tokens from there. Because now there are hundreds of useless tokens
Just because of two things.. FOMO or FUD
Its being controlled. The whole market is being controlled by the so called whales.. Also, this kind of pumps and dumps are pretty normal its called volatility already
Don't forget to include big institutional funds and hedge funds, not every institution is in the crypto ecosystem for making money. The safe heaven perspective is commonly used bt hedge fund managers you call whales, they can liquidate the billions of contracts with a single click. Volatility is down for the last 2 years, alt season can bring back the same volatility during December 2017.

It is a good thing to hold but what happened when the project owners are the ones dumping their tokens? Secondly, what happened when they is no active development towards the promises as printed on the whitepaper? Most projects will just use the medium to raise funds and disappear and the project will be delisted, then what is the purpose of holding? I think exchange needed to be regulated on the type of IEO they allowed to protect investors and must be liable is some way

It is not case of confidence, the external market impacts have the super power in the recent market fall down. I like to keep everything simple and the simplicity helps me to understand the crypto market from every aspect. Marketcap will go higher when the other financial markets will climb the new higher high price levels.

it means that this problem did not affect the price. it is in these times that we need to understand that the price has fallen because of the disaster that the world is experiencing and we have to thank that the price has not fallen below $6000 these days, it seems to me that the price is not falling below $6000 because we are close to the halving and people have expectations
as an investor You must understand that buying project token is like buying a shares of the project and shares of a project is not one night Profit gain .
Yes, this is very true but we are opposite scenario in market because everybody comes to market to gain profit and As it has no worldwide rules and regulation body that can control market so investors think if i gain 10 to 20% profit, that is my real. So finally crypto market going fail again and again. I think it will take more and more time to establish investors mentality but until we do not know market will stable or not.
the investors are not stupid 
, they invest the money in a business that they think can last a long time or forever alias passive income. if there is a project that has a coin / token at a normal price after entering the market the coin / token price falls 
, project like this is bad ,

Its called Volatility and its normal in cryptocurrency market..
Well, what do you expect? Anything speculative always isn't progressive (as in, it doesn't continue on a steady rise) because it is based on subjective reasoning and decision. Crypto business is highly subjective and speculative. This is why it fluctuates. That the market is down today doesn't mean it will remain down for a couple more days. I expect to see the ATH market cap repeated soon, even as we expect Bitcoin halving eagerly.

Crypto-market has been low since 2018 with very much little improvement seen in 2019.The issue of scam has been one of the major reason why crypto market is going low many people are afraid to invest in crypto unlike before.Scams within the crypto-market makes it very difficult to invest in any project and has been a factor seriously affecting the market.
was there really an improvement in 2019?, I feel there wasn't at all, but like you said, a lot of people have lost money in crypto scam projects, this has really affected the market cus someone people just wanted to test crypto out without proper information and education, they end up investing into scam projects, this makes a bad name for crypto and people that are into it

its not only dumping. since start of this thread 12 Nov 2019, we have a pumping session after US/Iran tension that took price to 9k$. So when market is dumping then its ideal time to buy and HODL. When we have pumping session than its ideal time to buy.
As a investor You must value the project more than their token the Market will pump again . Investors who invested $100 in Snapchat at early stage are now millionaires .. Thats how smart contract is all about , You invest You Hold for the project to become successful
Don't expect too much in ICO/IEO nowadays, those project mostly(not all) have no future to be growing or successful worldwide. The investors and bounty hunter looking for a profit at the first place, if the project have a value for the future growth and able to manage the community, I think those who involved at the early stage will consider to promote the project to become successful worldwide.
i hope for 10 k - 11k range
I think everything will be clear by the end of this week. If the price defends itself and stays at the level it is now, I predict further increases to around $10k- $11k. However, if yesterday's correction was just the beginning of price drops, unfortunately it will be a classic bull trap and information for us that we are still in the bear market.
For one I see is we are entering on correction stage but since there is halving we should rely and trust to that since for sure we can see a good pump up until it reach to our predicted price and it's not helping us to think negatively since if people will doubt then maybe we will lose some interest for people who are still doubtful to buy some these days.
Unfortunately, but it turns out that this was not a single correction, because today the price began to fall again. Despite the fact that the mood is positive and is coming halving, there is still a lot of time left and it seems that nothing good is waiting for us in this period. I still hope that the price will stabilize and no one will want to manipulate it, but I realize that for whales it is a very good time to lower the price and buy more cheap coins.
Despite the fact that halving is coming still people are in trauma for the dumps since majority don't want to get trap from the bear market strikes. But one things is for sure this dumps are temporarily happen since whenever the halving slowly came the price will pump up and maybe we can see more outstanding level.
