The reason is simple. Not all ICOs are scams. Even if there are maybe just 5% genuine ICOs which tick all the boxes of a "great" project, the profit potential is huge. A "great" project has a great team, concept, MVP, marketing, businesses partnerships etc. So ya, if you think an ICO is building something new, innovative and most importantly useful for the "masses"; then it is definitely worth taking the risk. Although, you might want to do full research to minimize your risks.

Investors are not relying on some shills. For every coin you must do great amount of research, and for ICO be sure to investigate team.
Serious investors are getting face to face with team on blockchain summits or on some other ways.
There are always some great projects and always will be. But there will always be stupid people who goes for some shitcoin shill and lose their money.

Icos are fascinating and attracting business model and profits are enormous many saw such profits in the past so most of the crypto investors are attracted towards ico but some icos are scam we should be carefull

The answer is simple , investors wants to have quick gains and run away. If people see any light above the dark, or they think they see something other people do not see; they feel like catching a wide range opportunity to gain then they will risk more money on any of the ICO.

Because ICO is one of the best way to gain huge profits on investment but in at that since their have been lots of scam ICO this day we should always take out time to study projects carefully before investing in them and also try not to invest in one project cause we might not know the one that will pay off. ICO is a great way to make big income with little investment if it turn out to be successful.

Investors always looking for money so they will try to invest on anything which claims that it can give much profits but there are scammers using their greed to make money by scamming them from introducing ICO sale.But nowadays the investors are getting decreased due to more scam projest so in future we may have very less bounties and ICOs.

Because they wanna earn money and not all ICO are scam 
. Of course I know that number of scam ICO projects are great but there are still so many good ICO projects to invest in but it's not easy to find out so don't ever ask a stupid question like this again in the future .

I have never invested in ICO, because it is not my field of activity and I do not have such capital. But I see that many people are investing. So there is a benefit for them. Although there are a lot of Scam projects, ICO does not lose its appeal.
Of course it will bring a lot of returns to the investor if the ICO is good and its price increases after being listed at the exchange. But that was the case last year and now no one is interested in investing in the ICO

Investors understand the game of risk. They know that if they want more, they must surely risk more. Though ICO investment are not that encouraging now but there are still few of them that can scale investors through.

ICO is an investment which is promising and can give you a lot of profit. outside of the scam, the ICO has been a lot of evidence that this is quite a productive results. Although this year the ICO look bad of course there is still the ICO that does deserve to be followed for investing. How to choose and selectively resides just to get the ICO like this.

it is the promise of big profits that the ICOs give. and sometimes they deliver some part of it and sometimes they just get dumped. so people still continue to gamble with them.

I support your reason and it is very valid. Again they come to invest in ico because they believe it will go higher when it gets to the market but unfortunately, sometimes it is not so. They scam investors and delete every communication avenue.

First, i want you to know that not all ICOs are scam and that does not mean there are no scam ICOs.
Another things is that most investors these days invest wisely, except for some very few of them, who do not care to do their research on projects before investing into them.
Also, we cannot be 100% sure of the sure of the success of a project, so we invest only what we can afford to loose.

I have seen many people invest into ICO's without even checking who the team is behind the project. If you do not check who the team is and even if you check and do not know what the team behind has done so far in their life than you have no idea what you are investing and there is a huge chance of getting scammed.
Whenever I invest on any ICO I try to find the team members and try to see who they are and what they have done with their life and what they achieved and if they look like they are really good guys that managed to make big things happen before this one than I invest. For example if Vitalik is part of a ICO one day I will definitely try to wait for him to say something about that ICO and not accept that he is part of it just because the website says so.

Because so many people become risk taker, we can see also many people take others big risk like by in jump in to margin trading and playing casino. Because taking risk is apart of success, and no body will make huge money without take any risk.
