People who say that have no idea about what they're talking about. Bitcoin is a community of enthusiasts who will do everything in their power to keep it alive. And  the current moment, they're not doing anything for this, as bitcoin is doing just fine.

it works that way in every revolutionary technology. Was same with internet. First it was just better fax and now you can see what it is

agreed!! its just like that, their saying that because theyre skeptical
of bitcoin because it is unstable it can go up and down in just a day
which is kinda scary, but onece bitcoin stabalized it will attract more
investors and will gain popularity.

The King is dead, long live the King.   Bitcoin will have to go through several stages of shedding its original setup to become something greater, I think its easily the case that people mistake regeneration for death when parts of the system must fail and be replaced to achieve greater things.
Of course its possible to falter even stop on the way, nothing is certain.   Some coin will succeed in greater then what we have now

I've actually never heard of people calling bitcoin dead. It's a thriving and brilliant community. Just take a look at this forum, for one. Not a question goes by unanswered.

Those people who can bitcoin dead have no idea of what they're talking about. That's like saying that dice there's a GFC, the world is dead. Things don't work that way. Prices fluctuate. They rise and fall.

People who say Bitcoin is failing and so on are newbies trying to double their money within 2 weeks, and if they don't get what they have hoped for, they blame Bitcoin and say it will fail, bla bla bla. Or they are either trolls.

what you said is correct who ever is telling is the looser or not able to earn, actually bitcoin is become a main source of most of the peoples extra income source

Bitcoin's transaction rate is climbing.Bitcoin's hash rate is climbing.Bitcoin's value is rising.Bitcoin's infrastructure is growing.
People saying that it is dieing are only closing their eyes and are and try to deny the reality.

I don't agree with them, but traditional financial types that I am friends with keep telling me that Blockchain is the important thing and Bitcoin is on an unstoppable downtrend. Their reasoning is probably because they do not see the socio-political implications of Bitcoin.

Maybe they are right, maybe not. Nobody knows what will happen to Bitcoin in the future, maybe it even banned in several countries, and its use would be unlawful. Or will he be popular and prices will start to rise dramatically.

how can you say they are right. bitcoin is performing better than it ever did. volumes are the highest ever, amounts of transactions are the highest ever, and so on.

The expectations for bitcoin were very high a year or 2 years ago.
Bitcoin is still growing if you look at the number of transactions or number of wallets, but some people thought it is going to grow at much faster pace.

Everyone wants to become millionaire overnight so even if there is small fluctuation in price and if it goes down a bit people would start thinking that the value is diminishing and its not gonna survive in the future and that is the worst comments to make regarding bitcoins, I think people should have more patience.

Should buying bitcoins be thought of as a sure short-cut to getting rich, anyway ?

Did you see that ludicrous display last night?
November 29, 2015, 08:14:07 AM
That could be due to the fact that bitcoin is moving slower than those people think. I think bitcoin has made steady progress into the main stream payment. It might take a few more decades.
