those people who said bitcoin is dead are the same peoples who hate bitcoin and its success, they missed the bitcoin era and now spreading fud like this, but they know that its not correct bitcoin is not dead but it gonaa shine more and more in future

Even now, we are early adopters of bitcoin.
yeah we are early adopters of bitcoin. because bitcoin is only starting from now, and maybe in the future our grandchild will also adopt bitcoin and now we can call them as a future of bitcoin.

Yeah I think they are just a group of people trying to spread a cheap rumor. Just ignore and keep believing in bitcoin.

also Friedrich Nietzsche claimed " God is dead " but as I see there are many people who still believe in god,
so haters can still hate, bitcoin is the future

Every time, for as long as I remember, that I go on bitcointalk, everyone keeps posting "BTC IS DEAD" "SELL" etc... And then a few Sr/Hero members come and explain how thats wrong.

I just don't get it.

Aren't we used to the price fluctuating by now? Whats with all the crying/moaning about price bubbles, crashing, inflations, Russia, China blablablablablablaaaaa!

Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!

This is getting to the point where we are affecting newer members or gullible people into selling/dumping all their coins instead of keeping them. I mean when I come on the forum, I see that its crashing, why would I buy in?

I think we need to stop giving the panicking people attention and focus more on positive sides.

People spreading the rumors about this have no idea how this work, biticoin's value is rising as the time goes by and for something like this it is hard to stop.

Spreading this kind of rumors is their idea of getting into bitcoin at their desired lower price levels. The people who missed the big bitcoin price movements may hate bitcoin and would say bitcoin is dead after seeing the price fall from $1200 to $230. Price up or down is usual thing for any commodity. It does not mean of dead of it.

Heh...
IMO people telling Bitcoin is dead are not "haters", and even if there are their opinion is still valid.

Bitcoin depends on people. It can be mass adopted, but this require general approbation, so each opinion is valid and should be listened to.

People don't like what they don't truly know. There's a lot of people that hear "digital currency" and think arcade tokens. "I'm not gonna spend my money on that, it's just play-money for the internet." the fact that it went down in price make people think that the now ATH ($1000) will never be reached again, because hey, "how much would you spend in some bits and bytes!?" people have a hard time thinking about the value of things that are not physical.
Who would know the rights to a comic book character would be worth a lot!? I would have a hard time wrapping my head around that if somebody told me to buy the rights to x-men in the 90s, when marvel was selling them. If someone told me "you got to get the rights to Wolverine and Cyclops, man!". It would sound crazy.
There's tons of silly things in our world that don't really make sense, but they work. And so, I just accept that they work. Bitcoin works, and I think it a very, very useful tool.

Bitcoin is GOD

One of the possible reasons for people claiming the death of bitcoin is Scare Tactics, if you state over and over that bitcoin is death, a newbie in regards to bitcoin sell, the price drops, and now the bitcoin trader can buy bitcoin cheap, weeks later bitcoin price returns to the original level and now our bitcoin trader can make a nice profit.

It’s a little farfetched but it’s a possible scenario.

Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

Because they don't know what they're talking about. Those people are just handing their bitcoins to someone else who deserves them more.

Because they hate the fact that they didn't make any profits on bitcoin so they're spreading news about bitcoin being dead. In short, they're just haters.
because it is, it's people above who are keeping it floating.
Too much money involved in it to walk away from it now. Gotta keep the "dream" alive.
It offers nothing now, in 2011 it was cool and full of promise.
In reality it is offering nothing I can't already do and cheaper and more private
But is not enough reason to say that bitcoin is dead and to leave in bitcoin community. if they the bitcoin make a promise and it didn't happened so let it and don't make do anything and just leave.

May be because BTC is something new and not all people have enough knowledge to understand global BTC market  Wink

Or maybe price is not rising all  the time.

Yeah I know right they're just being paranoid about bit going down, it suppose to go down and up because
Bit coin is not a stable currency so it is normal. And if the demand of bitcoin rise surely bit coin will go up. So I don't worry
About bit coin is dead because its not.

Most people are just looking at the price movement perspective and i don't think that reflects the actual scenario. A broader look should be towards the adoption rate and the infrastructure build around the payment system
That is very true
the only sighted with bitcoin, most people are taking the conclusions just by looking at the bitcoin prices down
