When bitcoin prices goes up,when it goes down, when new merchants adopt, when more users discover, in all these circumstances, some people say its dying, its dying.Bitcoin is not dying. Its actually progressing. The only time we could say bitcoin as dying is, when quantum computing breaks the block chain system.Recently economists have proposed that the cost to the system is $40 per transaction which is incredibly high.Anything above $1per transaction is likely more expensive than any solutions. If this cost does not decline faster, then bitcoin usage as a currency will die due to excessive cost.Bitcoin may indeed be dying due to cost of transactions. Many people are still investing in it.So bitcoin is not dead. The block chain technology will live on long after bitcoin as a major currency.
I don't think that Bitcoin is dying for any reason even if the transactions are high. When I read this article about Bitcoin dying it does not reflect on the price of Bitcoin which as of now is 928$  a dying currency will worth nothing on the part of cryptocurrency but if its Fiat it can be valuable to collectors who want to collect rare money. The price proves that Bitcoin is well and alive.

If you ask why people are confused, Bitcoin is showing a bumpy graphic and people do not want it. But naturally we know that this should be a normal situation. Some people may be expecting more of them to fall off and have more aim at keeping more bitcoins on their hands. Another point I can actually say is that there is no tax and it is seen as money laundering.

Well i disagree that having a bumpy graphic has negative effecta on btc. I think it can even attract more people to using it because of the constant changes thats happening to its price. Ans as we can all attest right now bitcoin is very much alive and strong

Don't show to people anything that would give them any doubts with bitcoin, there is no need to complicate things when explaining to them. Let's show that the yearly progress of bitcoin and we can vouch that since we are here for a long time. The last year's bitcoin performance was really amazing, and we can continue that this year. It's not dead when we are about to hit the highest price ever.

There is no doubt that bitcoin is being used for illegal activities like drugs, gambling or money laundering and that is the reason its not getting support from the Government and people have more faith in something which gets support from the Government and that is totally missing in bitcoins and for the same reason people feels that it will disappear in future.
All of the money fiat or crypto are being use in illegal activities like gambling, scamming, laundering etc. But the point un this bitcoin will not be beaten by that illegal activities because all are guilty for that. Maybe people are saying that the bitcoin is dead (hoax) for people to put in panic selling of bitcoin and then the bitcoin will dump it price and they will take advantage for that. But for me bitcoin is still growing and growing let's just support bitcoin.

Every time, for as long as I remember, that I go on bitcointalk, everyone keeps posting "BTC IS DEAD" "SELL" etc... And then a few Sr/Hero members come and explain how thats wrong.

I just don't get it.

Aren't we used to the price fluctuating by now? Whats with all the crying/moaning about price bubbles, crashing, inflations, Russia, China blablablablablablaaaaa!

Jeez... Do some research before posting, I saw one post which got LOADS of attention, yet the first post was done by paint, with an unlabelled graph which showed wrong data!

This is getting to the point where we are affecting newer members or gullible people into selling/dumping all their coins instead of keeping them. I mean when I come on the forum, I see that its crashing, why would I buy in?

I think we need to stop giving the panicking people attention and focus more on positive sides.

We don't know the reason why they often said that things. Maybe you have a point in that matter, it is their tactics anyway, for believing bitcoin will drop at the price below 800$, of course if that happens they will buy more bitcoins, when things is done accordingly they will wait for the price high.
i think the reason is very simple, some people want bitcoin price to come to a low level and they come able to purchase it in a low price. for this reason they are spreading such kind of news in the market so that people start panic selling. but in fact people are now becoming more mature and most of theme are not ready to sell thier bitcoin in panic selling. we have  good example of bitfinex when the hacking news spread in the marker and some people start panic selling but at 500 USD level the market god a farm support and then it start raising again gradually.

People who have seen the journey of bitcoins will never get panic even if there are negative rumors spread by the people as price dropped drastically after the bitfinex hack but it recovered very well and people who managed to hold their coins at that stage would be really satisfied with the current price and will continue to hold until price reaches to the top.
I quite agree with you. And the fact that it was a Bitfinex, I believe that it was a premeditated action specifically in which even the administration involved. I do not believe it was so easy to hack the stock exchange and carry out a number of coins. So all the manipulation and instigation of a bad situation is all nonsense and not true.

Another reason is they are simply trying to discourage people from getting into bitcoin by slowing adoption they can do what they want, if their goals is to get more and cheaper bitcoin then spreading those new helps them by buying time, if what they want is to debilitate bitcoin then that is good tactic too since the less people that hold bitcoin the weaker it is.
I fully agree with you that this is a tactic of those who is very interested in panic bitcoin users and despite the fact that reducing the price, all will reset the coin, and these people will buy it. Very tricky approach.

People by nature always afraid of what they don't understand. And when you mix together money, math and technology - three areas where individually little who knows, not to mention to be a specialist in all three - enough to make anyone scared.
Over the next few years you will often read how many smart people will try to deny it. They will tell you why Bitcoin will not be able to achieve success and realize the full potential. It would be awfully smart people, do not misunderstand me, not some morons. And because they are so smart, they come up with a lot of very smart reasons why Bitcoin may fail. They will tell you that it is a bubble. They also will tell you that the bright future of Bitcoins, you can wait forever and never have to wait.
Don't believe. Learn Bitcoin yourself.
This also happens because people are too set in their ways and they cannot think of anything else working out, I remember the first time I saw bitcoin was on a television program about economics and they were saying bitcoin could not work  and that some changes were needed as you may guess they just described fiat in their arguments, in their minds nothing else can work.
Today, as though there is a competition between Fiat and bitcoin, and their supporters begin to clog the air all sorts of information, when one or two of losing their positions and may die. I would not believe any one nor the other.

Mindsets just might be changing right now, with all the media channels and banks being gung ho about the blockchain. We have come a long way from when Bitcoin was just associated with drug peddlers and geeks.
Technology admired by all, and it is true, but the fact that there is little people bitcoin uses for the authorities is very good and they will do everything to bitcoin is not so much on became popular. We are all aware that it gives the user and cryptocurrency which deprives the state.

All the talk associated with poor future bitcoin connected only with cryptocurrency prices. This uniquely. So they want to influence and make their panic users.

We cannot see what will happen on the future use of a certain bitcoin value, we all just need to have any strategies to be in. We all just want to earn, maybe, we want to earn big enough, we cannot see what will the positive and negative effects on it.

Because they don't know what are they talking. They don't know how bitcoin works.. In my opinion, they say btc is dead to discourage other people not to use it.  They don't  know how to use or what is the importance of having on it. Those people trying to get panic other bitcoin holders   just to sell and buy in a cheaper rate. Some people lose their money so that they create nonsense news like this. Instead of believing that btc is dead better to research about bitcoin and believe that those impossible things can make  possible in the future.
