I've a friend of mine who always complain that ever since he started gambling he haven't won a good amount, instead he'll be winning less money than what he expected but he can't stop.
It’s just because they have the confidence that they are going to win if they don’t give up. Some of them do hear about other people's success stories, so it’s always encouraging them to gamble more, if they keep on gambling, they are going to win. Some of them will have already lost a significant amount of money, so they will be trying to win back the money they have lost, so they are always finding it very difficult to stop. The funniest part is that if some of them are able to win back their losses, they won’t stop gambling, they will continue gambling, thinking they will be able to win.

Yes, but they don't think that when they are on their way to pursuing victory, there will definitely be many losing situations that they will experience before finally achieving victory, which means that when they win, maybe it is the money they previously lost because of the defeat they suffered. returned by the casino, so actually their money just spins around unless the winning amount is very large. And yes, it is true that many gamblers feel motivated by the big wins achieved by other people, which makes them experience an increase in confidence and hope towards
victory and this encourages them to try again.

But yes, in the end, this belief will never be able to change the situation, simply put, gambling will always be random, which means only luck can bring them to victory, and yes, another thing that is clear is that when it turns out the results are not in accordance with what they expected, then usually It is difficult for them to accept this situation, which in the end makes them emotional and think about pursuing the losses they have experienced, which is the cycle experienced by gambling addicts, and as time goes by, the situation will get worse if the actions are not stopped immediately.

Most people will ignore what other people say because they haven't had a bad experience with it, but if they have experienced repeated failures even though they have tried many times, that's where they will be based on the fact that the advice given by other people is the right one. For now, just let your friend continue gambling, all you can do is give him endless advice and direction, after all he is your friend.

I don't do blame games with some newbies, they have this mentality of first game isn't enough to verify if their losses is enough, they will try again but the wise one will quit immediately if they have a consecutive loss back to back and quit or try another day but the daft ones will keep playing until nothing comes from and lose all the games and the money and that time, it will be too late to make corrections, this is when guilt and self discipline start to work.

If you want to see the crazy part, the addicted ones will come back in with big pockets and then try again until everything is loss. If you have experience where a celebrity gamble right in front of you in a casino house, they display this behavior often, spend some money in casino and loss, bring another money to the table and loss everything and then walk home with the remaining money with the homies for weed and food chuncks.

Umm its wise to go with small staking on good team, thus you have many winning chances. So was happen with your friend, but little winning amount makes him unhappy! But if he thought, he'll keep gathering the amount and then someday he might have won big by staking big amount, that's wrong point of view. He may win big but remember, thus your friend will have possibility to lose everything at once what he have. Most of people do such mistakes and then regret for what have they done. And for gambling, need to have a monthly or weekly fix Budget what anyhow afford to lose. And after losing that amount, anyone shouldn't keep betting until the time come when he can have a new fix amount from his source of income

Because that is what gambling is all about , trying to implant our mind about the winning probabilities but not the chances to win , making us believe that there are really ways to bet their site but eventually it will be taken away and they will be the one whos winning against us but we will keep trying our chances as we have already believe there is.
in gambling it is only the fun that we are surely to win and nothing more , if you win money then you are just lucky.

People do not like it when they do not win and they will always want to win therefore this make them to continue gambling until they have out of money to use in gambling. Some of them keep doing this until they get addicted to gambling, losing is painful and they do not want to feel that they have failed but when they get addicted, they would not know what they are doing. Gambling sites knows people will always want to beat their odd to win them therefore they set up their gambling sites in a way that people can not defeat it because if they keep defeating the system then it would not be challenging to them again. People love challenge that they will try to beat so they spend all their time trying to defeat that challenge and when they do, they feel accomplished.

Absolutely, Perhaps if gamblers can be aware of what is called the house edge which is exactly what you're taking about the more people will begin to adjust the way they gamble. Most addicted gamblers do not agree that they are addicted, which is a big reason why they keep failing and never rise.

Additionally only a few gamblers amongst the multitudes of gamblers gambles for entertainment as it's initial goal but so many gamblers are here for the money which is enough reason to keep losing more money because you can not put you hope to succeed in life with gambling. And perhaps once anyone learns how this house hedges works then the issue of addiction will be so how adjusted.

Unfortunately, many people start their gambler's journey with an insanely huge bet. For example, when my friend received an annual bonus, he went into a room with slot machines and lost all the money.
And when he came to himself, he went to borrow from all his friends, because his only goal was to win back this money. And of course he lost everything that was lent to him. This is the price of ill-considered money management.
Sad to know that no matter how enlighten people seem to be they still do not enlighten themselves on how to act responsibly towards gambling and this has lead a lot of people into sadness yet people do here this sad stories and never give ears to it.

It's insane for someone to take his or her hard earn money in to a slot machines trying to double them for any reason, when you have heard so much preach about gambling responsibly.  Truth is no that how we try to calm people down for them to gamble responsibly it only ends up that they go back to it. addiction is really a big deal if not taking care of as it will ruin ones life totally.
Those are the people who sees gambling as a good means of getting profit, whereas it isn't meant to be so. People are no longer interested in understanding gambling and it's risk management they just find it as a money doubling activity and this has led to serious problems including financial family crisis and also person crisis. Only our spare money is expected to be used in gambling but gamblers are not ready to observe those procedures instead they prefer risking huge part of their income in other to earn big profit.

Sorry to say that you are just misleading your friend in this situation and will probably make him to lose more. On a norms, gambling is supposed to be an avenue for entertainment and fun but we have changed the narrative long ago, we now see it as avenue to make money forgetting its traditional role. In a situation like this of your friend, you should have just tell him the plain truth regardless of whether he may listen or not. Let him understand what gambling is all about and there's no guarantee of making profits in return. If he's so concerned about making profits then he should take a break if the profit is not satisfactory. Telling him to keep gambling constantly and might probably win big someday is the worst advice I have come across in gambling industry.

Unfortunately, many people start their gambler's journey with an insanely huge bet. For example, when my friend received an annual bonus, he went into a room with slot machines and lost all the money.

This is one secret about gambling but many people/gamblers are yet to figure it out especially those who are new to gambling industry. When you play game and lose, the best thing to do at that moment is to stay away from gambling and come back some other time with different mindset but if you stay back with the intention of playing more games just to recover your lost money, you will definitely lose more money. It's a proven fact that we have been seeing it happening regularly. The case of people succeeding in such scenario is very few.

This [risk and luck] is the most basic thing that a person who plays gambling will get.
If he has not won a large amount according to the bet, maybe it is not his time for luck to come to him if he plays in a game where the percentage of luck is greater than the percentage of skill such as slot games.
If he gambles with small bets but expects to win a large amount, it is impossible.

So what are your suggestions towards this.
There is no advice that can be given in detail other than his habit of playing gambling by understanding that gambling is only losing and winning.

However, this won't mean that gambling is bad because it still depends on the gambler's behavior. In fact, there is a warning given to all gamblers "Gamble responsibly" but what really happens is that more gamblers become irresponsible. This happens because they can't control themselves and instead of making gambling as a sort of entertainment, they now consider it as other sources of income.
Nope, gambling is not bad, but rather gambling is addictive; gambling has the ability to take more than it can offer a gambler; gambling is for entertainment and not a primary means to archive wealth; winning in gambling is not guaranteed; and lastly, casinos care about their profit and not the losses of gamblers. If every gambler follows these ideas, they will not lose a lot of money to the casino, not knowing they are enriching the casino. If a casino has 5,000 gamblers losing $10 every day, you can imagine how much they are accumulating in 30 days; meanwhile, it is always a higher amount that is lost by the gambler.
That is the risk of the impact of gambling and the risk involved only depends on how each gambler is because not all gamblers as whole will be able to get bad things because some who are responsible and able to control themselves can minimize everything well.
Just like when gamblers experience big loss and they end up depositing money again and risking it all, it will clearly be big threat to bankruptcy if they do this, but some gamblers who don't do it can still be safe from bankruptcy.
They are only trying to get back some money that was previously lost, there is no responsibility in receiving the results of any bets they make and this is why gambling can be bad place for most irresponsible gamblers.
It just that basically this is business for those who own gambling sites or casinos, they make large amounts of money, but if we are wise and just having fun then losing some money will never feel so burdensome.
Moreover, building and developing gambling business requires lot of time and capital, so it is natural that if we take brief calculation, we can find that casino profits are indeed the biggest and are always at the top.
It is better to come with limits and remain wise about every decision make when gambling.

The problem arises when a person spends a lot of time in a casino trying to make money because you can't do that, and when you keep trying to do something which can't be done, you tend to start having problems and the same happens in this case, the gambler will start to face problems eventually.

You're right, that inability to be able to achieve the objective is why many times people cannot guarantee their way of seeing things more clearly, we know that the casino offers us many options to do things right and win, but we must also consider that there will always be the house advantage and that the casino will always guarantee us profits and this is something that we can always be present to see, live and feel everything that these designs represent, I have always said that when the time comes to go to a casino we must keep a cool head and accept that we are fighting against the house advantage and against the complication of the game, if we know that, we are aware of what can happen and we must be emphatic that if we continue playing even with those conditions, it will always be that way, and I think that continuing to play is looking to have that luck that we have not had many times.

Having fun through gambling is irresistible, some gamblers can manage to cope with this while some cant not hold on to it than having all it takes to make fun while they gamble and do it continuously, which is part of the reason why some gamblers take longer time on gambling because they are having fun and also enjoying the vibes it gives, they won't mind loosing as long as they have the more resource to keep on gambling with, because fun could be elongated as the condition attached with it may be.
There is nothing wrong with having fun in gambling, and as long as a person is under the realization that they are gambling for fun. They aren't supposed to get carried away and start trying to get profits, they should be good. Mostly when people gamble for fun, they have a specific budget for their gambling activities and they don't go beyond that limit, so as soon as they lose that amount, they get out of the casino without having a second thought.

The problem arises when a person spends a lot of time in a casino trying to make money because you can't do that, and when you keep trying to do something which can't be done, you tend to start having problems and the same happens in this case, the gambler will start to face problems eventually.

Many people already had a bad experience but they don't stops their gambling activity even if they lose much money. They still thinks that they have a chance to wins some money but they don't thinks about how much money they already lose in gambling. They still attract about winning in gambling, especially if they see their friends can wins some money and that makes them keeps playing gambling without realizes that the chance to wins is different than their friends. Even if they try many times to wins, they will still difficult to wins even for some small money because gambling will not gives you the money easily. If we have friend like that, we can suggest him not to playing gambling too often and using much money to avoids the big lose because gambling is just for fun and not for make money.

If a person loses all their money gambling, they clearly don't realize what they are doing. And it is not only about gambling addiction, but rather about irresponsibility. Most likely such a person needs to pay attention to self-education in the field of finance and reconsider their views on high-risk entertainment. I have also lost a lot of money in gambling, but never lost all that I had as any even a little responsible person should realize that you need to have a financial cushion in case of unforeseen circumstances. Spending that money can lead to unfortunate consequences.

That's true, most gamblers who have lost a lot of money because of gambling can be said to not realize that the actions they are taking are too excessive so they continue to bet and continue like that because of the desire to win which drives them to continue gambling even though the results are The gambling he did always ended in disappointing defeat. Exactly what you said, with those who carry out these actions unconsciously, of course the actions they take are irresponsible actions, because they act beyond the limits of their abilities or reasonable limits. with gamblers like that I think they really can't pay attention to their finances, because they are lulled by the winnings they will get from gambling even though they have lost a lot of money, but because their minds have been washed by gambling they continue to gamble no matter how much money they have. lost in gambling.

If you calculate from the start when I started gambling, of course I would have lost a lot of money, it's just that here I can still control myself where when I lose I stop and when I win the same thing I do is stop by withdrawing the winnings that I have obtained, and come back. at gambling another day. but to be honest, I myself don't record income and expenses from the gambling activities that I do, because in my opinion there is no need to worry when we lose money in gambling because it is a normal thing, and even if we record our gambling finances then what is more often written is expenses, not income or profit.

There are people like that who have gambled for weeks and months and have not won anything my advice for those people is for them to get a better understanding or quit looks like gambling is not for them because of people. the reason why he can stop is because if you look at the reason he wins less money so he his looking for ways to see if he can balance the whole thing. The problem is people will will never learn and time used would have been better used to understand how to gamble better not gambling and losing or even winning little money. And if you control your emotion early and when you lose you don’t even bother much then you know what to do when ever you want to gamble. Everyone have their definition to gambling addiction because their people that gamble everyday and make money out of it.  And their people that gamble everyday and win nothing so now with this illustration you can say who the addiction is favoring so that is how gambling works it depends on how the gambler gives meaning to he or her gambling.
Basically people who gamble for weeks and months without winning anything should not be a talking point, because they are beyond saving. I am not saying losing just a bit, we all lose just a bit, house always wins so we all lose, but I mean like losing a big portion of their salary, a big portion of their income.

I personally believe that if you ever spend more than 20% of your monthly income into gambling then you have a problem and you need to stop. I know that people can't stop all of a sudden all by themselves, but the best thing is that we are going to end up with something that will take a bit of time, and we should probably realize that they need therapy to get better, which will not be all that hard to get in this age, even online zoom therapy sessions exists.
