If a person loses all their money gambling, they clearly don't realize what they are doing. And it is not only about gambling addiction, but rather about irresponsibility. Most likely such a person needs to pay attention to self-education in the field of finance and reconsider their views on high-risk entertainment. I have also lost a lot of money in gambling, but never lost all that I had as any even a little responsible person should realize that you need to have a financial cushion in case of unforeseen circumstances. Spending that money can lead to unfortunate consequences.

At first the mindset your friend is having towards gambling is wrong , he's thinking that gambling is place where he can get rich quick which Is a bad mindset and he continue gambling won't assure him a big win actually, but he can endup being a gambling addict if he continues In such manner. He should have some principles towards gambling and reduce the urge of gambling frequently. Because he doing so not only increasing the chancing of him hitting the jackpot but the chances of him losing all his or alot of his cash in gambling.
Newbies who start gambling become totally addicted to gambling because of their get rich quick addiction. I have some close people who are completely addicted to gambling and lose all their money.  Once he begins, his destruction is inevitable and he himself will not know when his destruction will begin. Gambling is good for entertainment but some people want to get rich quick and lose everything and end up destitute.

I've a friend of mine who always complain that ever since he started gambling he haven't won a good amount, instead he'll be winning less money than what he expected but he can't stop. So I'm asking what do you suggest he should do at this case. For me I told him that he should know that gambling it's a game of risk and luck, but with the constant betting you might win the amount you've at mind someday. So what are your suggestions towards this.
It is unlikely to get a big win even if you bet continuously. Maybe you think that the more active you are in playing gambling games, one day you will be able to win large amounts, but in fact you need to know that if you continue to hope for big wins in gambling then you must also be prepared to lose everything and suffer losses. because of the many gamblers we see, only a few people are lucky to get a big win, meaning not everyone can get it.

Some people only want to gain money and even though they are losing a lot of money, they are still eager to bet and that's what we call revenge gambling which will cause more losses. And, I think that gaining a win and hitting the target within the day needs to stop betting to avoid losing it, and having a plan is a must.

Addiction is the major problem that will make anyone to continue gambling even when he is losing because he cannot control himself on when to stop gambling, maybe because he is busy chasing his losses. Another thing is when a gambler is using gambling to pass time will always continue gambling even though they are running at loss.

A gambler can also continue gambling even at loss because he is having fun and have not exceed his gambling budget, he will keep on gambling.

You are right, bro. Those gamblers that still continue gambling after losing so much do not realize that the gambling system is designed in such a way a way that it only favors the casino greatly while the gamblers are primarily the ones at loss. It's necessary for a gambler to only stake with the money they are ready to gamble off, so that once they lose all that money to the casino, they can just stop and go back home. If I want to gamble, I usually deposit the amount I want to gamble off, and if I have also won a good amount, I will just withdraw a specific amount from my winnings so that I don't end up losing it all too.
Unfortunately, only a few gamblers know how it works and follow while the majority have fallen into their greed and addiction.
That is why casinos are growing because the system works effectively which favors their business. However, this won't mean that gambling is bad because it still depends on the gambler's behavior. In fact, there is a warning given to all gamblers "Gamble responsibly" but what really happens is that more gamblers become irresponsible. This happens because they can't control themselves and instead of making gambling as a sort of entertainment, they now consider it as other sources of income.

You've already done your job by telling him the risk in gambling, but since he still continue to gamble, then I think it's best if you will just wait until he learn from his mistake. Most of us gamblers doesn't really win, but what differs from happy gamblers to addict is their ability to control their emotion, a responsible gambler knows how much money he can only afford to lose, and he stick with it, while the addicted gambler never stops until he lose everything, even the money that is not intended for gambling.
There are people like that who have gambled for weeks and months and have not won anything my advice for those people is for them to get a better understanding or quit looks like gambling is not for them because of people. the reason why he can stop is because if you look at the reason he wins less money so he his looking for ways to see if he can balance the whole thing. The problem is people will will never learn and time used would have been better used to understand how to gamble better not gambling and losing or even winning little money. And if you control your emotion early and when you lose you don’t even bother much then you know what to do when ever you want to gamble. Everyone have their definition to gambling addiction because their people that gamble everyday and make money out of it.  And their people that gamble everyday and win nothing so now with this illustration you can say who the addiction is favoring so that is how gambling works it depends on how the gambler gives meaning to he or her gambling.

I don't know about you but I think this is practically the wrong view or perception to Gambling because if a gambler continues to have such mentality that he or she is going to win despite the loses he keeps getting then that person is just trying to make things alot worse for himself because that circle could just go on and on till all his bankroll runs dry so I think that's definitely not a good advice at all. If a gambler experience loses then the best thing he should probably do is to actually stop with that session and relax and try to continue maybe some other time rather than keep on staking without the certainty of whether he is going to win or not.
It could, but it's never guaranteed that the process will go and on. That's what gamblers are hoping for when they continue betting even after many losses in a row. I'm not saying they should necessarily win after losing a lot of their bets, but they are not destined to further losses either. So, if your entire balance is what you can afford to lose, why not try your luck one more time? Or, several more times, if your bets are small. That's what I'm doing often, and sometimes I only lose more, but other times I win and I'm happy that I didn't stop earlier. Smiley
That's the problem, many of them think that their loss will stop eventually and that's why they keep doing what they are doing. The gamblers fallacy is that if you lose many times in a row, eventually you are bound to win. That's the problem with martingale as well, if you do well and then make a good amount of money, I would say that it is not going to be all that bad, but if you end up gambling for a long time and lose many in a row, then you could lose some more, there is no guarantee that you will eventually win.

Of course you will technically win eventually, but that doesn't mean that it will be before your bankroll ends, maybe you will win on 100th but your 81th was the last money you had, so you would end up with an issue.

I agree, even if is true that most of the time those that put the most effort into their hobbies are the ones that obtain the most benefits out of them, and they may even make money with something that was just a hobby, this does not really apply to gambling, and this is because in most of the games offered by the casinos, it does not matter how hard you may try, you have no chance to improve your results as your luck controls everything, and in that case, it is better to simply give up for those that have lost a lot of money already.

I had the same thought. No matter how hard we try we will never win against the casino because their system will never let us win and their basic odds are against the player winning. So for gamblers who have thoughts that they can make money from gambling, they will tend to continue betting even after they suffer a big loss because what is in their heads, is the opportunity to recover their loss but, what will actually happen is a way for them to get worse.

I think it's just people who have thoughts that gambling is just a hobby to have fun with what they can afford to lose, are those who can stop betting when the loss comes.
House do always win and this is something that you should put up into your mind so that you wont really be that ending up on being that desperate. On the moment that you would really be that forceful on things specially on gambling then you would really be that definitely putting up yourself on such trouble as you would really be betting even more and this is something that should really be stopped.
This is why it would really be best that once you do gamble then dont tend to beat up the house since there's no way on beating them on the first place. They would be always the advantage and come to think that when it comes to odds or chances then gamblers would really be always losers at the end, not unless if you are extremely lucky then you  might be able to hit up some significant win.

before you go into gambling you should know the rules and guidelines of it, first know that gambling it's about risk and luck those set of people who lose and still go ahead and gamble, are focusing for the winning aspect because they have lose more in gambling and in gambling if you decide to quit all your losses will surely go in vain. And you'll be the one to take the blame to yourself by the end of the day when you notice that all your efforts are gone just like that, gamblers knows that losing in gambling is a penalty set for gambling no matter what the casino gambling most surely gain from the individuals. Just earlier yesterday saw a guy that owned a bet shop holding a gambler for not paying up his money to the extent he has to size the gamblers car key. But gambling was trying to recover his losses by playing more ahead and bet more for him to get back his money. So don't blame those who still gambles while he loses because he have a target.

Having fun through gambling is irresistible, some gamblers can manage to cope with this while some cant not hold on to it than having all it takes to make fun while they gamble and do it continuously, which is part of the reason why some gamblers take longer time on gambling because they are having fun and also enjoying the vibes it gives, they won't mind loosing as long as they have the more resource to keep on gambling with, because fun could be elongated as the condition attached with it may be.

So your friend really treat gambling as a source of income not just a simple game of fun for him maybe you should tell him he is in the wrong platform instead give him idea about trading as it is similar to gambling the only thing is that he plays the chart and the market because with gambling I don't think he will make good amount of money without spending much on losses. Gambling is based on luvk trading is based on someones skills or knowledge so yeah give it a try.
Winning from gamble is a matter of luck and chance, so if hue friend is thinking that gamble is a gamble for income or investment, then he's making a hug mistake because gamble is not. When we bet we pray to win and if we don't we let go because we understand that fact that gamble is not a platform that brings income on a daily basis. The moments we understand that, also the more gamble addition reduces.

The chances are very low that we can beat the casino system that is programmed in the backend, we prefer to gamble against gamblers rather than beat systems like slot gambling and other games, p4p gambling games are fairer in decision making to determine the winner and we also like sports betting because of the winning results not determined by the gambling system.

However, there are some gamblers who claim to have won the jackpot from slot gambling but in fact they experienced losses that were much greater than the amount they won in that gambling session.

Exactly, and what you said is one of the reasons why gambling is called an activity full of uncertainties and without any guarantee to ensure victory, one can never know what will happen at the end of the session. Winning is nothing more than a chance that the majority of gamblers hope for, but when they overreact to it then there is definitely a possibility that they will create a delusion in their mind that can indirectly increase the belief that the win they always hope for will actually be obtained.

That is the scenario that occurs in the brain of a gambler who is ultimately addicted, because after all, from a common sense and rational point of view, putting excessive hopes on something that runs with uncertainty is a mindset that can never be justified, there is no way to bring victory other than luck coming at the right time, while it is a fact that luck is something that can never be controlled.

There will be wins and losses in gambling, but those who walk away with a few losses will never achieve their goals. However, gambling is advised to be considered only as a center of entertainment. There are many who have won a large amount from gambling or maybe get a jackpot but if he quit from gambling before he got that reward he would not have been able to get that reward. If your friend is not addicted to gambling then the advice given to him is correct but if he is addicted then you should tell him about his addiction. He will try to reduce his addiction by having an idea in advance about what situation his gambling life may lead to because of addiction.

Well, even with constant betting, you still might not be able to win the amount you have set your mind on, because there are no guarantees of any kind when it comes to winnings and loses in gambling, so, this is one important reason why we must strive to be happy with our gambling activities and outcomes.
Gambling should be a fun venture rather than a money making venture, and this simply means that, we should strive to enjoy the game more than we strive to enjoy making money from it.

We should continually know that, if it was easy to make good money from gambling, alot of us would be super rich, while a lot of casinos will rekted, but unfortunate, gambling is not designed to be a money making venture, but rather, a having fun venture, where the ability to make money off gambling relies mostly on how lucky we are, and we should always consider this to be an added bonus.
