There is a difference between leaders and politicians but people sometimes can't differentiate between the two because they all want to attain power through voting. We really don't need politicians we just need leaders because every society needs a leader so that there is a clear chain of command.
The state needs politicians, both central and local government must be led by a competent person in politics. The state's progress also depends on the role of the politics itself.
Politicians are expected to be people of integrity and wisdom. They should have enough knowledge or even be experts of different laws governing things so they can create rules that are useful for the people. They should be sincere in what they do.
Politicians are bridges to connect individual needs and wants to government institutions. They play essential role in society wherein through their means they address the problems in the institution:)
We need politicians, because we need leaders, who will control the situation in the country. People can't do it by themselves, it is necessary to have special folks for that job. Politicians have to decide, lead and take responsibility for all society.
Yes, politicians are needed to b the government, in every organization, there are politics been play, you can become a favourite to any environment or organization without you being into politics. You can play politic by trying to deceive people until you get to your point of deceiving them, our environment is full of politics

Although I am not a big fan of the politicians, it is a truth that we need someone to run the government and administration. And not every single politician in the world is a corrupt crook. There are plenty of good guys out there. Examples are Sebastian Kurz (Chancellor of Austria), Tulsi Gabbard and Bernie Sanders.
we need a politicians to lead our country but unfortunately some of politicians are becoming greedy and selfish because of money and power.
In my opinion we need leaders or politician in our country to lead us in all aspects .To do some laws and to protect our country in all bad people like kidnappers and some more .Every election period we vote or choose the politician that deserve the slot but sometimes we vote a wrong person. So please vote a deserving person for every slot .

this year is the political year in my country indonesia, where every region elect candidate governor simultaneously. get a new leader for a better change of course
i think a lot of people are missing the point. we need leaders in government, but this does not have to be an institutionalized thing. why cant we have decentralized government where anyone can choose to take lead on any issue they want and if they have support their roles as leaders become solidified.
We need politicians because at every strata their has to be people that would pilot the affairs of the economy. But is quite unfortunate that in most cases we have irresponsible men at the helm of affairs thereby leading to bad governance. Despite this challenge of bad governance as a result of bad politicians we still need politicians.
