I treat the bitcoin as both investment and currency. I hold most as investment, I use some as currency.

you are right that bitcoin has great future and like as you maximum people buy bitcoin through the selling other currency because they know that bitcoin will be more increase its price than other currencies in the future .

not sure if it was true that people selling their currency to bitcoin because they believe in bitcoin future.
some country have a financial problem and found bitcoin as a solution, that's what i know so far.
greece crisis, turkey crisis, british exit from EU etc causing people buy bitcoin recently.

You cannot do both if you want to be profitable, you should only focus on one and if you will ask me on that I would focus on trading as the longer we do it we get used to it and will learn base on our experience that would give us the chance to make profit.

yeah trade can be said quite profitable if you just mastered a few techniques alone. but if you can be proficient in the techniques and strategies in trading. then the trade will be very profitable for you. I have some different reasons to buy or acquire bitcoin. I love money but I prefer values so that’s not my first reason. I buy bitcoins as I believe that, this is future of economy and it will take economy to the next levels. I am technology enthusiastic so naturally I try and experiment on new technologies and since I am in crypto currencies, I find bitcoin (being a biggest and strongest player at the moment) has ability to push the things forward on a broader scale when it comes to digital payments. Well and as I said, second reason is to make money out of it.
