I'm just a common holder, The price frequently and regularly increase IMO and with the current halving and bitcoin changes happening I think the price has more potential to increase beyond it's current level IMO.
Bitcoin price increases often. Holding the bitcoin to such a price increase and selling gives good profit. Just to make some profit and use the advanced technology I have bitcoin.

I'm waiting for a price increase as well, I have bitcoins because I see it as a great potential investment and has opportunity to rise much more than it already did and is a decent investment to do IMO.

I have bitcoin because my clients pay me with it and some of my bitcoin is used to in trading at some exchanges.

To me bitcoin is an investment and it is significantly easier to gamble with. There's no way I can miss out on bitcoin by seeing the path it's going.

Eventually I like to build up some kind of off shoot business be it trading or a site to supplement my retirement portfolio.

i prefered to have bitcoin as payment gateway than invest it, i have some bitcoin just for trade it on altcoin trading platform like poloniex.
Well you can do both right, I have them a as a investment but also to spend things with it.
I also got the bitcoin for the fact its self controllable, I hate banks with their whole system and power.
I'm doing exactly the same thing, just invest in them for profit and also spend them as real money on online stores.
