Losing for money for fun is inevitable.  If you want leisure, you need to spend money to get it.  It is the same as going on a picnic, vacation, and watching movie.  Gambling is  different in with regards of there is a possibility that you will win money.  You can play gambling moderately and have fun, spend the allocated fund for it and stop when it is emptied.  Does it not the same with watching movies, playing videos in arcade game except that with gambling, there is a chance that you will get more than what you bet.

Some people confidently to say about that because they're rich which is have a lot of money that can afford to loss whatever money they spend for gambling. Perhaps gambling is their passion as well and the only way that could make their money will be wasted.

How one can play for fun? I am totally shocked with this statement of people. Why this is happening around us that one is going to casino and waste his own money with the title of having fun. Even he knows very well that he is in loss, a huge loss still his entertainment seeking abilities doesn’t quench. He doesn’t know the right way to get out of all this shit. Good luck to such people.

I think sometimes we want to feel how if we get fun with our real money because this will makes us be careful to place a bet and we don't play with a rush and only make a bet if we are sure that we can win. but for your information, although we are sure we can win, we cannot always win because this is the gambling games which there will be a winner and a loser so we should take it as our risk.

I guess players are after the excitement and thrill. It is triggered when there is something important at hand.  Yes, there is fun in using playmoney but the fun experienced when real money is on the line is way different.  Thinking that you there is a possible chance that a player can bag a huge fortune excites them and make them eagerly waiting for the result and once it is a win, then the overflowing joy will be achieved.

Yes, if you don't have minimum bankroll it is not possible to win the gambling, but most of the cases we will end up in the loss, mostly gambling will be played by the people who have more money because for fun purpose they will gambling in casinos.

Gambling, game and party you use real money is just for fun. it's the same.
Many of people is play in gambling for an entertaiment. they are willing to spend of money for that.

It's no fun playing using fake money, when I played using a thing that got value then I just put all in, if I lose then I will asked again, and it's no fun at all, using real money give adrenaline ruah, excitement and pride, I will more focus because if I win then I can get richer and that is my term of fun

That is one way to think about it because if you have a lot of money you have a lot of opportunities to win and that's crazy. If you really want to win a large amount, you are going to need a large bankroll too.

I agree. To add, I think the reason why some gamblers use real money is that they wanted to show their strong fight. I mean, while playing they show that they are sure to win the game.  And also, there are some  casinos that do not consider gambling toys, instead encourage gamblers to use real money.  That's what I think are some reasons.

Depends on where you are gambling at. If you gamble at land casinos, you get many perks for playing there. There is also the thrill of playing with real money; the highs and lows of winning and losing. Definitely better than playing without real money in my opinion.

Some people are saying that because they don't want to admit that deep down they want to win and earn a profit, so they could say:
'see? I played for fun yet still managed to win some money, isn't this amazing'?
The higher the stake the bigger the fun, it is as simple as that. That is the reason people are doing dangerous things.

I thought you are honestly gambling for fun only so there are no or its rare to see gamblers who are gambling for fun. I'm not gambling for fun but I'm having fun when its the only thing that I have to do when I'm starting to lose. I have to enjoy the game and the money that I'm betting so instead of putting myself down, I'm enjoying it but my main goal isn't for fun its for the money.

I honestly gamble just for fun but behind it is also my eagerness to win and double my capital.So i go to casinos for both,to have fun and to earn more money hopefully.But the thought of having gambling to earn money is just the same with making gambling to earn a living.That's totally out from my aims in gambling.

Yes, when there is nothing to be rewarded after the end the game goes on. The same when placed with certain betting amount, automatically the game becomes more thrilled. Because the winning is expected to give us with a bigger earning. Same time fun accompanies on winning, here user need to have the mentality to consider it as fun even on losing.

Using money in gambling will make the game exciting it gives the thrill to every player that is why many people get hooked in gambling because they found it fun and if you are lucky you can get money from it.
Honestly i feel bored and sleepy playing/gambling with out money because money makes the play intense,you are eager to win because of the price and the satisfaction of the game is there.

People who are not gambling like to talk about gambling and they are gambling for fun even thought they are not gambling? Now that is very interesting. Also this topic was specifically made to ask players who are gambling only for fun something, in case you missed last line in topic, so  as far as I am concerned whoever is posting here is gambling. So what's your point anyway? You are not gambling, you only like to talk how you are gambling for fun because you will get paid for post? Is that it? 
Calm down, I don't have anything against gambling(I actually like gambling and chance to win big money and be in that rare circle of luckiest people), I am just trying to figure out something.

So basically your comparison is gambling = trading: trading in demo account(playing for play money) = trading for nothing(playing for nothing), trading for money(gambling) = trading to earn money(gambling to win money) although you said that you are gambling for fun only?

I don't understand this: "risking money for fun". If you have 10$ which you can afford to lose and you choose to entertain yourself in form of gambling, it is buying fun = no risk. Because you payed for entertainment, right?

Never mind, lets take this for example, I'll put myself in it:
1) I am gambling to win money
2) I am having lots of fun while doing it, I feel thrill and exitement
3) I will gamble only what I can afford to lose
4) In some other topic someone asked "how long can you be without gambling" so I said sure, why not? Lets try. So far so good. I ate more pizza. Pizza is fun.

Now take 1) and instead of word "win money" put word "fun" - feel the difference. Gambling to win money = leads to addiction, gambling for fun = fun, while 2,3 and 4 remained the same. How about that?

Besides, I've read story about some guy from wall street who gambled away millions of dollars, got in huge debt and he said he was gambling only for fun(if i find link I'll edit post with it). So bold part is pretty much wrong assumption.

Those who answers they use money in gambling for fun probably belongs to the rich member of the society who has plenty of money to waste. As I believe others uses money to gamble because they are amazed of the idea that when you gamble you have a chance to double your capital, others might be desperate to earn big and believe their luck will bring a lot of profits in gambling.

I personally want to play gambling for making money, i do no think that  there is any sense to play gambling for getting fun and enjoyment while putting our money in risk. I personally will never like to take the risk just for getting fun. I think there are so many other source from where we can get fun and enjoyment without any putting our money in risk.

For the same reason why alcohol was banned in the USA from 1920 to 1933, and was banned in some other countries during various periods of time. Yes, most people use it for fun drinking responsibly. But there are others, they are called alcoholics, who abuse it turning their life into hell. To protect the abusers governments ban alcohol, some beneficial drugs, gambling etc. Do these measures make the life of the abusers better? I don't think so. We all know from history that abusers will always find a way to use what they want to use. It's mostly regular people who suffer from the bans.
