I agree, Elon Musk is investing himself heavily into these coins like BTC or Doge coin. He is not giving out investment advice for the average Joe but rather looks how he can influence the market. After his recent tweets I think we should all be more cautious and don't believe in every word he says. We need to start thinking again on our own and don't trust others. In my opinion Doge coin is still a good investment, but if Elon Musk decides to sell all his coins here too then we are screwed.

I do not believe that to be true. I mean he definitely did buy some doge that is for sure, because he likes it, but the reason why he hypes it is not because he bought some, it is because he gets attention and that is will always be there. He always used twitter that way, tweets like "today is 69 days after 4/20 lol" has always been his thing, he loves to act insane on twitter and get attention for some reason.

I do not know why he would do that, I do not know why he needs that, some psychologist could study his behaviors and can pinpoint what seems to be the reason but my money is on his father never giving him any attention at all which is why he is seeking love from other people all around the world and doge opened a door for that. I do not have any other reason honestly, but I think it is purely about all the attention he is getting.

Of course it is for the profit I guess Elon has seen that Dogecoin isn't moving for so long and use it to gain profit.
He would buy a huge amount and try to pump it as much as he could then sell to take his profit just like what tesla did to BTC.
So for all of those who bought and hold you should really be careful and watch out for the huge drop when Elon already reach his goal.

One of the obvious reasons is because it allows him to make money. We can say for sure that be bought a ton of DOGE before he starts tweeting about it, and then slowly taking profits from the pump that he catalyzed. He probably made millions and more from this hype run, but it probably won't work the second time he choose another meme coin. Just like how McAfee did last time.

Don't follow anyone blindly, especially if it's about moon mission and stuff like that. It's very likely that they do it because they want to get your money.

He might be one of the investor of DOGE and this token is low in value before Elon started to hype DOGE, that could be the reason. It may be difficult to have the exact reasons why Elon musk choose to be more interested in dogecoin even though we know he also has interest in Bitcoin and maybe other cryptocurrencies. I feel his interest could be basically for entertainment as we all know dogecoin is a meme coin which was established as a joke. Elon musk could be interested in making many realise the irony of life, in the sense that what was meant to be a joke has become the very valuable in the hands of dedicated holders.

It's clear that if elon wanna use doge as a replacement for the bitcoin. he was saying bitcoin is not conservative consider he wants doge to be used as his future technology. It's clearly said that elon will be making doge coin as the first crypto in the space. elon gonna make it to be a real usability but he should not spread FUD to the bitcoin.

Primary reason would be to gain more popularity and influence the market. Just check the ranking of dogecoin on CMC, through his influence he has changed the marketcap of that coin. I am sure he also holds a considerable amount of the meme coin and is indeed looking for a considerable amount of profit from it.

i have been speculating some reasons why elon was choosing doge.

1. doge has not controlled by any party
2. decentralized
3. already a popular coin
4. cheap tx fees.

I don't think Dogecoin is the only coin that he can used on Mars. Nothing special from Dogecoin but it is attractive because Elon can be a biggest influential person for this coin. He is wise and takes this opportunity. Accumulation 2 or 3 years ago and choose a bull market and altcoin season to shill it to the Moon.

The adoption of SpaceX for DOGE-1 is only official announcement that he is a supporter of Dogecoin.

Many other altcoins can be used as same as Dogecoin but this coin has big network hashrates that many other shit altcoins don't have. It is another characteristic that makes Dogecoin is different among the crowd of altcoins.

That's an easy question and the answer is that he's a holder and investor of it. A person would put the topic into his favor because he's going to benefit from it.
It's very possible that he's one of those owners that owns a lot of Dogecoins that's likely been monopolized. As he keeps talking about it and shares his tweets to the public about Dogecoin. It's one thing for sure that he's doing it for his personal gain.

I remember it starting with the SWB movement in stocks and then the doge coin is the name they started to care about, and it keeps going up until now.
