There are so many incredible meetups and workshops I am sure your city offers. There are even a few influencers who I would look more into on twitter who offer some free online courses and they're quite helpful

Worlds Simplest Cryptocurrency Wallet
I don't think it's difficult, it's just that they need some time to learn about it. We need some time to learn about security, and examples of deception. Learn how to operate this market.

Do note that this website is also used as a platform for advertising ICOs or other related projects since this is considered the biggest and most famous forum about cryptocurrencies. People would not waste the opportunity to exhaust the possible means of earning money.

If you really want to learn about cryptocurrencies, there are limitless ways as everything exists in the internet. Try watching videos or researching about articles on bitcoin. Hello,

in my opinion it's not difficult to entry the crypto space but the trust level is too low. Many people still think that the crypto space is unsafe, full of scammers and just one bubble. They need more safety and trust and less bad news about scammed people, hacks and exit scams such things scare new people off. It need still more time, more safety regulations or better education about the crypto space for the new people.

of course security or fear of it could make it tougher for people to enter this space and even turn some people around but i think it is not the major reason. the bigger reason is that last part that i bolded. the fact that people need to be educated first since this is all new to them means it takes "effort" to enter so most people being lazy, turn around!

Yes that’s one of the main reasons. Indeed, people are way too lazy, they use rather the old system as use bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies because it's too much "effort" for them.
Many people don’t want to understand how the system works, they want an easy and safe way to be part of. If people would do more research they would see that fiat has no future. And even when the day comes and everybody use bitcoin they don’t care how it’s work or why. They think simply “everybody uses it, so I use it too it must be safe” and research seems than not necessary. People tend to avoid new things because they are used to the old system and superficial it seems to work, but in fact the next finance crisis is just one little step away from us but this is not interesting enough for most of the people.
One other problem is that thousands of good news are often not considered and one bad news gets the full focus from everybody in the mainstream. The mainstream loves ironically bad news so long they are not affected, so the bad news gets more attention and the good news go under.
However, in my opinion sooner or later bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general will be the future. The question is not if but when it is, when people finally wake up and understand the benefits of BTC.

If newbies want to know something then they should ask. If it's a valid question then it'll be answered.

They should ask only after they have tried searching first and didn't find a good replies. Asking first is how we get "what will happen when all bitcoins will be mined" topics almost every day.

in my opinion it's not difficult to entry the crypto space but the trust level is too low. Many people still think that the crypto space is unsafe, full of scammers and just one bubble. It need still more time, more safety regulations or better education about the crypto space for the new people.

If anything, they need more warnings about hacks and scams, because trust and crypto don't mix well - there's no third party to appeal to in case of frauds, when you send your money they are gone forever. It's always better to learn on someone else's mistakes instead of your own, and a user with poor security practices and low scam awareness has 100% chance to lose their money in crypto in the long run.

As a newbie you don't aspect to rush or start something you don't know about. In crypto you do need a guide for you to be able to explore. Crypto is a gradual process that requires time and patience to have knowledge of it

Many people still think that the crypto space is unsafe, full of scammers and just one bubble. They need more safety and trust and less bad news about scammed people, hacks and exit scams such things scare new people off.

The problem with scammers is that the amount of them will increase as long as it is profitable.
And the major point why it is profitable is because all of the victims have almost no knowledge regarding crypto at all.
They hear something in the mainstream media, or from a friend and also want to invest / make a quick buck.

This leads to easily manipulable people who believe everything they get told just to have the chance to invest in BTC or the 'next BTC'.
As long as these people don't research first on how to buy, store and use crypto securely, there will be a huge amount of scams going on. And that's the biggest problem.

It is not really hard,if you wish to end in the buying and selling of bitcoin in fiat.
But it gets complex as you explore more options like choosing the best exchange with good options, should I invest in an ICO and how much do I expect to get from crypto
Your goals determines how much you will be willing to explore

Everything is extremely difficult if you choose wrong approach, wrong place to start with.

To start with efficiently, you must:
- Choosing right place to start. That seems you have done well by joining the forum which is the biggest bitcoin/ crypto forum. I am not sure you did join other forums before joining here or not, but finally, for now, you are here. Welcome, fella!
- Choosing essential things to start off:
They are:
unofficial forum rules
forum structures (in Help page)
★ A Complete Guideline to use forum search button properly ★ (Read this one to sharpen your searching skill)
[GUIDE] Bitcointalk forum etiquette (for your life in the forum, you do need it)
community-written fundamental guides
Available courses on Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology from colleges and Universities (in case you want to find out more things beyond the forum)
- Spending your decent amount of time, and efforts to do first two steps.

You will certainly feel difficult at beginnings and early weeks, but you will feel more better when you become more familiar with basic terms of crypto, blockchain, and eventually will do find your joy here.

well when you start with altcoins and tokens that is the experience you are going to get! over in the altcoin market everyone is just trying to earn more money and to do that they have succumb to creating garbage and selling it to the newcomers by advertising the shit out of it. consequently you shouldn't expect anything more than that from altcoins either, if you do, you will be disappointed.
start from bitcoin and stick to that as a beginner and you will see how your entire experience is going to be different.
as for your new reddit sub, i don't like it because it has a lot of altcoin stuff in it, specifically ICOs (with all their alternative names). as i said beginners must stick to bitcoin then if they liked, move on to altcoins after they gained some insight.

Yet, they can be informed and can be educated by us, a simple topic for you could be a vital information for other, don't be afraid to share.
or they can educate themselves by doing simple things such as searching, reading and learning
this forum has massive information that you can search and learn from
also you can do google search for wider range source of information
if you still can't find answer to your needs, feel free to open a thread to ask questions

the problem is many newbies are too lazy to search for particular info
they want the answer immediately, spoon-fed, here and now at this moment Lips sealed
they skip the reading and learning phase to become more knowledgeable

I would suggest you to first explore the platform for at-least a month. There is a search option in the forum where you can search for the topic you are interested in also, if you don't want messy comments in any thread and need pure knowledge why dont you start reading serious discussion or Bitcoin Technical support topics.

Also, What all a newbie has to so is clearly mentioned in Beginners session. It is once will to learn gets them knowledge. All the legendary members were also newbies at one point of time and if they were not getting the required knowledge they use to never waste there time here. They find it worth as it is actual worth.

Hope you have read threads like: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.51545936 by @fillippone

I am a beginner in this space and have been trying to find my way around to learn some stuff. before joining this community I was told that there will be community who will be able to help you and guide you.

However so far what I have seen is there is a hardly a community, some people are busy shilling their projects they don't even care of users some KOLs trying to pump a certain token to
drop it on his audience and many other individuals are as toxic as a human can be again now everyone but majority.

We all want this community grow and adopted by masses but don't we have responsibility or a role to play with in this ecosystem?

I am seeing new people joining this space everyday full of questions and if you can just answer one question or share one of your experience with them  that is more than enough.

Beginners, they don't want you to hand hold them all the way, just show them a path to follow that is it but what is happening is now everyone is trying to take advantage of newbies.

why? Simple they dont know much, they dont know about scams schemes, they dont know about telegram bots, they dont know about many things.

Yet, they can be informed and can be educated by us, a simple topic for you could be a vital information for other, don't be afraid to share.

And if you want to start now join the movement we have created a subreddit called NewbieZone ( https://www.reddit.com/r/NewbieZone/ ) We have one aim and that is share all the good guides
and good content related to crypto in here for beginners, so this subreddit can act as pathway to beginners!

Feel free to share your own articles or post others that you personally like and help this community grow cheers!

First of all, beginners have to be ready to learn and educate themselves, and not just rush into things. Take things slowly, for example good start is reading Bitcoin whitepaper, i am sure that many people never bothered to do that, let alone newbies. sad true is that most of the people are into crypto for profit, and not technology, no matter what they say, so they don't take time to slowly absorb so much info. They want everything and they want it now.

I don't think it is fair to say that this forum is not opened to new members. Literally every day new guide threads are made, covering every possible aspect of crypto market, warning newbies of possible scams and giving all kind of advices.

I joined your subreddit, and see you there as well Smiley

If newbies want to know something then they should ask. If it's a valid question then it'll be answered.

There are a million guides out there now. Info on every conceivable angle is waiting to be found. If you arrived in 2010 then lack of info would have been a valid moan.

Common sense is one of the main things I see lacking. I don't see why a newcomer does lack it. If someone's offering to double your money tomorrow then that's clearly unsustainable. You wouldn't put a dollar into something like that so why would you put some bitcoin in?

Another regular spot is a flat out refusal to listen to the hard won experience of others. People arrive with a plan and will not deviate from it no matter what they're advised.

There's enough track record to realise shittokens are... shit. No excuse to buy into any of it when the numbers are accessible to everyone.

I remember my fresh arrival. At that time Mt Gox was still the main recommendation to buy BTC. I spent five minutes reading about it - far off land, no regulation, previous hacks, beach ball? - and immediately discarded the idea of using it.

I knew nothing. I still knew a disaster in waiting when I saw it.

I don't see whole what are you said is true, if member in this forum won't answer newbie's because the question already answered or there is quidelines on every section about but still the question is pop up and that's very annoying. Many Newbie they aren't pure newbie they only want to increased the post the true is they are alt account. You can see at Token section many newbie ask question on dead thread. If you want to help or educated another newbie about crypto that's good.

The cryptosphere is not precisely a walk in the garden, and that’s why people need to perform a fair share of research on what to be on the watch out for. Bitcointalk forum is one of the go to places to do this, allowing you to engage in Q&As dynamics, and there are plenty of articles around on the internet to complement one’s information needs. The key is being aware that one needs to be informed before jumping into the pool.

You’re entitled to create your own source of information as you have done (on Reddit), but you may need to look after the references you make to it in your posts, in order to avoid them being considered spam at some point.
