I am not sure that every government does not like crypto, but there are many factors that make the government ban crypto circulating in his country. one of the factors is that the banking authority has its own interests because it can make fraud or bubbles like what happened to China. however each country will start with its own crypto when the time comes later.
The reason is simple because the government has not made a profit from it.
Because the government is unable to supervise it, it is impossible to pay a tax policy to the trader. I think it takes time. Future regulated coins will coexist with unregulated coins.
I don't think that people in the government really don't like the cryptocurrency. probably it is only about the rule and regulation in the country. Crypto is considered having some negative impact to the government or the country. It is about the stability of the finance of this society in that country. Crypto is very fluctuating. hence, the government will not take that high responsibility to the volatile finance. The crypto is also probably used as the money laundry system and this is not fair. But, I think if we can take the positive advantages, we will love crypto so much.

First of all, I want to note the fact that the government does not accept crypto currency for one simple reason. This is transparency, hence the absence of corruption. Secondly, these are certainly dark deals committed by people who live in a criminal world.
The government has the right to withdraw material money, can stop the emission process, prohibit equipment for issue, since it does not even belong to every one hundredth person. But it is almost impossible to withdraw the crypto currency in a violent way, and to stop their issue, roughly speaking, it is necessary to take computers from all people.
Of course every country has its own rules and there are some governments that are still reviewing what Crypto is so that it has not been legalized in that country, which I know if a country has not legalized Crypto's existence in his country, there may be no understanding or fear of Crypto so it can be used for Other crimes because Crypto is well known because there are hackers who use it so that it seems negative.

I do not agree with you that government doesn't like crypto, government actually like crypto but the only problem is that they want to control everything about crypto. For example the chinese government is having issue with crypto because they want total control over it. Its not as if they don't like crypto, the fact remains they love it but they want total control and the entire crypto community does not want any government to control crypto.

It is because cryptocurrency is not a government friendly currency. They don't like it because they cannot control it. Cryptocurrency cannot be tampered or record unlike fiat money where they can print as many as they need. The government needs to be efficient in their spending if cryptocurrency will become the main currency in the world. It is also hard for them to make a shady transaction if this new currency will be implemented.
Governments will never like decentralized system because it will be harder to manipulate. They ought to have a centralized system of everything where they can control anything they want. In addition to all its not easy to accept any unregulated system because of security issues.
Authorities do not like cryptocurrencies because of one thing - control of peoples savings, authorities want to count our money always and to make lots of taxes for us.
It's clear as a white day, a lot of money will go to the market that they are not in control and they are afraid to lose a big chunk of money which at least as something they can track !!!
When the total control of cryptocurrencies begins, funds with big money will enter the market.Before they enter this market, it is necessary to work out issues with taxes.At this stage,only exchanges can be taxed,but will not be able to attract people who trade outside the exchange.It is not possible to decentralize the system such as that handling.
Everyone does not like competitors. With the introduction of crypto currency, governments will lose much of their power. And it's not bad, they adjust too much now.
