This is a good topic actually, some of the government in the other country they banned bitcoin or crypto but in the end they ride on the trend as well. they choose to regulate it because they are smart enough to foresee that crypto a little or big could benefit their economy. just imagine if they are taxing all the circulating money in crypto due to the regulation they releaswd which is legalizing crypto and then people will move their mlney to japan.

the first point is because of the openness system that is owned by crypto so that politicians in government do not like crypto
the second point is the existence of a banking system that first existed and felt threatened with the existence of the blokchain and crypto systems

so they do not want to crypto currency because they know it's a scam. so it is prohibited for some countries because people do not care they are victimized by the people so the government staff prohibits the crypto currency.

The government hates cryptocurrency because they cannot regulate or tax it!!
With cryptocurrency it can be untraceable if you choose to be. It can be as traceable as you wish. Or If for some reason you want to be taxed every year and pay for owning you can be. I am not sure why you would want to but do as you wish lol.

I think the reason the government does not like the use of bitcoin is because it is very difficult to regulate the rules about bitcoin and other crypto so that this could make people use crypto payments more than the official money of the country.

Because bitcoin is not in the hands of the government and many illegal works are done using cryptocurrencies and government is not able to trace it...So government doesn't like it.

Because it is not regulated yet, it is volatile. It should have a solid legal base to prevent fraud. By the way Venezuela starts using national crypto for international payments (probably because their currency is even more volatile).

The crypto currency cannot be controlled, so the government does not agree if the crypto currency is used in the country. Although some received it in several countries as well. The mindset of every government must be different, they want their country to advance.

Apparently centralized form of government starts to look attractive. Governments can do things fast, centralized and organized, while in crypto people are not able to organize, but rather produce numerous tokens and coins.

Because people in crypto are very decentralized. They have no models yet for cooperative decentralized action. These models/methods/approaches should be developed. I was suggesting it in political party topic, but almost no interest.
That is standard thinking paradigm. Peoplee think that politics is something boring and unprofitable maybe?

Government not doesn't like crypto , crypto doesn't need decentralization while the government regulations require centralized by government so that the government wants all to be controlled by the central bank .

I think the government does not like this because they can not manage it as their own currency and it involves a lot of money laundering, personal income tax management, etc.

Because they found any reason on how bitcoin works and how it will destroy the future of some governments creation and works. I think they not willing to all people by using it because it is about the world and they don't want that the world has similar money and how about the economics?

There's different reason on every country and especially by the bank that causes of getting some money by investor and the bank can be gone when the crypto began to spread.

Our country is crypto friendly and also some other countries. Maybe the other countries that does not like or ban crypto are just overwhelmed and don't know much about it thus creating confusion or fear of what it can do. Their are always advantages and disadvantages but maybe they are seeing more disadvantages as of this moment.
