This is the biggest reason for me. Even if BC does not go up relative to how much cash goes down.......it does not go down. That counts for alot in my wallet.

But if you have the same wallet, you can have a good transaction, the same as the one I am using right now, I can receive transactions quick. But what I like on Bitcoin is the freedom, the way we can manage our money to ourselves without others interfering. And with that, just a few people know that you are rich.
Cash is used for our daily needs, while bitcoin we do invest for future purposes as well expecting to be able to grow our capital, or to start building it. I think you are talking about offchain transactions and they are a reality but not an ideal solution to the current issues we have as they force centralisation of wallets.
I agree with your second statement though that it gives us the freedom but also the anonimity if one wishes it.

I only have 2 reasons while I choose Bitcoin instead of cash. One is that I intend Bitcoin to be use in online transactions where it will be accepted as cash, because I am a cash kind of guy who does not have any credit cards to use. And secondly (which I use the most) I use Bitcoin as a mode of investment which obviously has a lot of growth potential compared to any fiat currency the downside is it can also decrease its price fast.
If the bitcoin of cash, there is no price up or down lucky is coin-shaped coins that have a high price later.
Bitcoin's volatility is brought due to its limited supply, if it is controlled by the government like cash, they can simplyproduce another to aid the increasing demand, bitcoin is different that's why it has a good potential to increase its value
in the long run.
