I also like it for the "you dont need a Bank" factor. But i also like them because you can pay very easy and fast online. It is my prefered method of paying for goods online.
I love bitcoin but for now, I cannot leave the bank and only use bitcoin, of course I would be very difficulty in buying something, considering at least few merchants who accept bitcoin

Yeah, except government could outlaw it if they wanted to or at least put restrictions on citizens using it. Like New York has done and some other places. That wouldn't exactly stop people from using it, but there could be negative consequences for doing so. Even if only for the very small fees that BTC has and that would be enough reason to keep with it. Paypal takes 2 euros (for example) from any transaction I make - it's ridiculous! Where do they get the nerve?! And after that it takes 4 days for them to release my money. What the hell are they doing in all that time? For 2 euros they should deliver it personally.

Don't kid yourself, bitcoin is decentralized but it is far from being 'democratic' in nature. It is tyranny monopolized by Chinese Hash Power, whales and bitcoin developers.
