Bitcoin is currently the most popular and used digital currency in the cryptocurrency world, known as the medium of global transactions. Bitcoin is the first of the decentralized digital currencies because it is the first to operate without a central bank or a single administrator. The Bitcoin network is a universal process that takes place directly between users without any intermediate means. There is a transfer fee for international currency exchange and in most cases there is a hefty fee. But in the case of Bitcoin, transactions can be done at a much lower cost. Which is one of the main reasons why it is so popular.

I'm not that much fan of continuous learning especially to secure funds and to make sure that I am transacting efficiently, but literally, we people mostly are contented from what we have especially the way how we transact using traditional methods such as transacting with fiats, and bank transfers. I have met allot of people and some of them are already old (60 above), and for them, there's no room for improvements in terms of transactions as even bank transfer is hard for them to execute that they need someone to support them while doing so.

Question arises if they are in situation like this, how can we teach them with new methods of transaction such as bitcoin or to somehow take them out of their comfort zone when in fact, their aren't really comfortable with it in a sense that they need assistance of younger generations. Perhaps, there's nothing wrong to still try and make them accept in bitcoin if we know how we can properly explain it to them. Or to use the concept of "Abstraction" which I learned from Object Oriented Programming.

The easiest way is to make sure you're not going right away into technical terms such as Encryptions, Hash Rates, Blockchain, etc. And to take it slowly by using smart analogy to correlate it while explaining because believe me, old people behaves unpredictably. Make it easy and start your conversation by offering a good meal, share some stories as you transition to tell him a new version of Gold (As I believe it can be a good example of physical bitcoin) which is virtual and anonymously created by someone up until now is not known.

Story goes explaining that they need an internet access in order to buy this virtual currency that they can use for e-commerce, or transacting with other people and it is like sending messages but instead of strings of characters, they can only send numbers in which are called Bitcoins. Another is that bitcoin is like Fungus.
Quote
“Fungi don’t have a central ‘brain,”
what is there is a decentralized networks that shares the same information, the same with fungus having a characteristics of
Quote
"resource management, reproduction, and defense strategy.”
Fungi are also undying as after the five mass extinction, they still remain on earth. That's how powerful bitcoin network is.

I'm sure there comes a portion of the conversation when they will ask how to secure their money will be or how to access it. This is when we will try to simplify things out by explaining public keys and private keys in a way that they usually know how it works such as comparing it with username and password on their facebook, twitter or Instagram accounts. Moreover, try to use analogy as your conversation goes deeper and deeper in a sense that they will understand each terms without you giving them bunch of knowledge in which they don't understand.

Of course everyone will not be interested if we are just sharing things like these without giving them something more valuable than what they normally use. Here we might want to state some features of bitcoin such as semi-anonymous transactions, peer to peer, low transaction fees for international payments, accessibility, and one of my favorite, an investment.

A dream of inviting our old citizens to bitcoin will not be possible if we ourselves lacks the fundamental knowledge about it, the best way to properly explain things is to first learn and use it. There's we can formulate various analogy to correlate terms and to lead them in the right path as they engage themselves with bitcoin. I believe that there's no boundary of ages for people to use it, that is why I like to learn and use bitcoin.
Too many theories will make things complicated, I think it is difficult for us to teach about cryptocurrencies, most of which are safe transactions (cryptography) and freedom of transactions. Here it will be easier to bridge with blockchain implementation that has been modified in such a way that it becomes easier. For an easy example, we make DAPP by implementing banks as a start because I'm sure they are more familiar with banks. After that, we switched to making blockchain-based on web apps and mobile apps for more real transactions, of course, based on our initial system that implemented banks. Then we give a more detailed theoretical briefing about the systems that blockchain and cryptocurrencies have.

I like learning and using bitcoin because bitcoin is the currency that can help me get rich fastest. Investing right when the price of bitcoin goes up, you will get very high profits without any profession. If you want to do business without loss, you must have knowledge So I studied bitcoin very carefully before investing money. And I sell, buy depending on the period.

Well said mate.
But to be honest we can't exactly determine when the price of the coin will go up.
What we can do is just to estimate.
And as Bitcoin is a stable coin so if it also falls down, then we won't face any losses.
Moreover i also like Bitcoin and Use it more often as it is stable and when the price rises, it gives enough profits.

Nevertheless this thing varies from person to person and i respect each other's point of view.
You can predict the short term price through technical analysis, a lot of people thinks trading is like gambling but it is a myth because trading is a set of rules and you need to know what kind of analysis that you should use in order to make gains. I think people should not view bitcoin as just source of income, because  a lot thinks that it is a form of investment and not a form of currency that can develop the payment system in the near future.

Having a good mentality can give us not just profit because we can learn nee concepts and ideas that we can use. We should not be part of the majority of people who are lazy to learn, we should commit that we are forever student of the market because it is always changing and for us to able to adapt certain changes.

...the only difference is that it has so much volatility. ...

But still limited to be used since there are still a few stores and merchants that are using it. But then again compared to gold, bitcoin is still new and in time, it will get the attention it greatly deserves. Right now, as long as people get interested in it, bitcoin will continue to flourish. Small steps leads to bigger steps in the future. Let's take that small steps at a time for a bigger steps in the future.

Actually, I think this is the best time to spread the gospel.

Community quarantine is still happening in different parts of the world.
They cannot make their transactions outside and they will rely on the internet.
It would be best to first target the services.
Once they have the option to pay in bitcoin then maybe, even just for a little chance the people will use that option.

But think about it, if there is no option to pay thru bitcoin then what use can it be?
You say just an investment. But it was not made for that.
If they lose money they will just withdraw it which makes it look like a bank. Why not just pick bank instead? It will be easier.

You have to give them a better reason for bitcoin to be kept.

Absolutely! Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies has a lot of great features that could really help people especially in this severe crisis. If only everybody in the world believes and trust it's usage and the benefits that it brought to us,  then probably the spread of virus can be lessened and the world's economy will never drop at its worst.

Cryptocurrency is all about learning new things

Nah, I do not agree. Cryptocurrencies ofcourse is not "all" about learning new things, rather it is a new technology that we can use with many different advantages.
You can trade them, use them for payments, for gifts, and a lot more. It is just like a money, the only difference is that it has so much volatility. And a lot of opportunities that we can take through that.

I suppose, whether they accept it or not. A day will come where they'll be force to use it, because fiat losses value whenever banks starts mass printing of new paper money. Which could lead in hyperinflation, like for example during this pandemic. Banks are printing trillions of money per day pumping are stabilizing the economy. But it will only get much worse, stealing the purchasing power of the supply in circulation.
If the world goes to fully digital payment methods then it will be very easy for the governments to print more money, all they will have to do is a single click from the mouse and they can create money supply out of thin air and we would also have to trust them as they are the ones deciding policies n all. So, a future dependant on a decentralized monetary system is going to be way much better than the one in which governments will still be having control over our money and they will be deciding everything in our lives.

And that reason still is hard to validate at this moment. Maybe, if further developments will happen, things could go well and many people will see the importance of cryptos and how it brings convenience to every transaction. It is indeed not meant for investment purposes but since it is how people benefit from it, it became its function not as a digital currency, which is its main purpose. Many people are making use of its price volatility to make profit. Since it is still facing issues regarding the adaptation of countries, we cannot blame the investors from doing so. Let us just hope its importance will be more appreciated in the future as development continues.

It gives us the ability to spend our money on anything ...

This is the sad part here.

Despite the freedom Bitcoin gave us, the pseudo-anonymity it gave us, we are still limited to where we will be able to use it. Countries may regulated Bitcoin and maybe other cryptocurrencies but only a few stores, merchants, and people are actually accepting or using it. We can use to buy anything with Bitcoin, the problem is that they don't accepted it, still.

Not only bitcoin, learning anything in this world is very fun, if there is promising money there. We cannot live without knowledge, even though learning is boring, but living in poverty and not being considered is sometimes also more boring. Good bitcoin students are those who are able to spawn a work to make it easier for everyone to carry out an activity or need.
Let's popularize bitcoin properly, in hopes of becoming the most popular digital currency over USD

I like the way you think and try to bring them (parents) to introduce bitcoin. maybe there (where you live) a lot of parents who previously understand traditional banking technology, social media users, so even with a few explanations they will immediately understand. but I can't do that here, because they (parents) really only believe in the traditional banking system and use gold for assets and investments. only to the younger generation can I explain bitcoin blockchain technology, and currently I'm creating a small crypto community here.

Personally,  I like to learn more about how to maximize my profit in bitcoin specially in the current situation all over the world.
The economy is down, Lots of people do not have a job and there is this presence of uncertainty. But when nothing is certain, everything is possible.
I want to share this opportunity and knowledge with people close to me ad even those people that are not.
It's crazy but in this situation, crypto is rising and now we are finding positivity because of it. And if only people would realize that they can still provide for their financial needs thru crypto, life would be a little less hard despite all the sudden changes

Cryptocurrency is all about learning digital currencies while also earning through it. That's why i really like bitcoin, you are not only learning new thing about it but also you can have money by using it as investment or either in doing trade. Very helpful, isn't it? Also once you learn you can also share it to others. In this way,  you will not only learn but also others and you also helping to spread the bitcoin  and cryptocurrency to increase mass adoption.

It simplifies many things and there are many advantages of the bitcoin. Also, one can become financially free and independent if invested and traded well with bitcoin. It has changed many things and also being used as the payment option. Transferring money to anybody has become so easy and so cheap that within minutes the other person will receive the crypto.

I want to highlight international payments since the fees from the traditional transactions is way to high, but comparing with cryptocurrency and bitcoin, everyone is the same no matter how far we are apart from each other, transactions are fast. It's like an equal opportunity for us to transact freely and anonymously.

Going back, I like the context of what OP is saying, there's no age gap in terms of learning new technology such as crypto. There are always ways on how we can teach even old people buy using analogies in order to explain the process of bitcoin transactions.

Hello to all. For me, Bitcoin had a kind of magic from the first days. The very word "Bitcoin" has some kind of appeal. Here you can write a lot, both good and bad, but the main way I want to answer the question "Why do I like learning and using bitcoins" - I'm just a fan of Bitcoin. I like everything related to Bitcoin, I even adore collecting from taps, although it is not economically profitable, in short, - Bitcoin takes up a large part of my life. Sometimes you have to lose - not all investment projects are honest - but after a minute of disappointment, the mood reappears and I go ahead.

Cryptocurrency gives us liberation and independence. It gives us the ability to spend our money on anything that we want as well us it makes us anonymous on when we spend it.

It is true that we need independence when it comes to our own money and assets. Governments only get their benefit by taking fees in an exchange that serves as a tax for those customers who are using bitcoin. Still governments are still taking advantage of a centralized coin.

It simplifies many things and there are many advantages of the bitcoin. Also, one can become financially free and independent if invested and traded well with bitcoin. It has changed many things and also being used as the payment option. Transferring money to anybody has become so easy and so cheap that within minutes the other person will receive the crypto.

For me, I trusted bitcoin to secure my future that's why I invested to it. We never know, maybe its price goes up 10 years from now, but that's only a pure prediction. Most of the bitcoin holders are waiting for that to happen that's why we are patiently waiting for its price to increase. You have other options which is to make it grow, by trading, investing and etc.

Lots of online exchange sites accept this. So from anywhere I can convert it into my country’s money in any situation.
