That was really the big difference between young and old generations. But, for me, there is no age range in learning as long as we are always willing. Because I always believe that everyday in life is a learning process for us. We only need to have the eagerness to adopt.
I understand that some old people are much conservative and they want to keep their traditional manners where they are more comfortable in anything especially in managing their financial transactions. They tend to have a hard time adopting the new technology and some refuses to learn about the usage of it.
And We, as being part of modern generations are much into digital aspects because of a high-technology driven world. It made our life more easier, convenient and everything possible online.
By the way, for me, learning Bitcoin is necessary and much useful for us, because of its great features. Especially this time that we are in severe crisis, its a big help if you know Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency and learned a lot about it. You can work, earn, invest and trade in cryptoworld and pay bills. With just the comfort of our home, using internet and smartphone or laptop, anything can be done virtually.
It would be great if everyone will learn about Bitcoin and cryptoworld, so I suggest if we are already more knowledgeable enough, perhaps we could share our knowledge and teach others to discover this thing. So their life would be easier too 😊

Cryptocurrency gives us liberation and independence. It gives us the ability to spend our money on anything that we want as well us it makes us anonymous on when we spend it.

It simplifies many things and there are many advantages of the bitcoin. Also, one can become financially free and independent if invested and traded well with bitcoin. It has changed many things and also being used as the payment option. Transferring money to anybody has become so easy and so cheap that within minutes the other person will receive the crypto.

Let us not be very specific about Bitcoin because there are also altcoin in circulation that Like Bitcoin also has potential in future.

And besides Diversifying will help us choose different currencies than focusing in single one.
I subscribe to every word. Fully agree with almost everybody.

Ever since I first heard about online currency, I've heard of Bitcoin. The more I know about it, the better. It is one of the most trusted and valuable coins in cryptocurrency. There is no possibility of Bitcoin scam leaving the market. Bitcoin payments are easily made through various online sites.
Now the whole world is aware of it. Some countries have now banned Bitcoin in their country but hopefully Bitcoin will be recognized all over the world one day.
"Knowledge is power" as they said. Sincerely speaking, Bitcoin has been with us for sometimes now and those who thirst after it will or can acquire the knowledge about it. What we should do is: getting the right knowledge about the technology, advancing the gotten knowledge for other technical aspects of this technology. Bitcoin early stage make many think about it as a ponzi scheme but few years later many got to understand it as a good payment method. Research into bitcoin will enhance our ability to use it properly.

It's true man cannot learn in the  whole life.because there is no end level of learning any field. Same as bitcoin has also no end level of  learning.  We should be much more  gain knowledge  about crypto. So for getting good results of earnings through crypto will be  profitable in future. I think so.
You are right earning from crypto like bitcoin is the most profitable way of earning. We should learn it well before using we must collect good information about it.  We get experience about crypto by using it just like having it  and ufing to buy things and to earn from bitcoin we should follow only one rule that is sell it at high price and buy it at lowest price so this way we can make good income from bitcoin.
But there is a big challenge for people who want to try to earn from bitcoin. The chance will not be too big if he doesn't learn more about the ways, so he will not be able to earn many bitcoin. Maybe he needs to spend more time to learn from many sources so he can improve his skills and knowledge about how to earn more bitcoin. It is hard, but it is worth to try because so far, not all people know bitcoin, and not all people use bitcoin as the investment, and they are still preferred with the traditional way.

Yeah that's right!. As the experienced ones, we ought to enlighten them both the fantasy and nightmare side of bitcoin or crypto in general. But I'm sad everytime they start losing interest after I tell them the risk of this investment Sad. So in the end, I always got rejected. But I guess that's life! I realized that there are some people who only afford playing safe and there are some who have the guts to do something risky for big rewards...
Same, I've done my best. But atleast we already told them about btc, they are now informed about its existence in the world. And maybe in the future they will give it a second chance because I'm like that too. Heard it from a friend but didn't jump right away, I just know about btc.....
I was like that, too. Heard bitcoin from a friend, had some speculations, thought it was scam, but after seeing the benefits it gave to my friend, I took the risk and got myself involved. I was able to earn enough and even lent my earned btc to my partner for financial purposes.

However, no matter how hard we try to show them the benefits, no matter how hard we try to educate them and make them adapt, there are still people who would refuse. Well, maybe we could just say that this industry is not for everyone. We all have different interests, after all. And we cannot push them to do something they don't want to do. Let's just leave them be.

Let's just hope that someday, in its own perfect time, they would give crypto a shot and realize that it was worth it. At least, we did our job on telling them about it. And just like you guys, that's also the least I could do to contribute to this community.

We can't be hopeless in the way that Bitcoin is gaining wider and stronger support at this time since a lot of countries are already lifting their ban.
Despite this https://www.escapeartist.com/blog/countries-banned-bitcoin/, the numbers are decreasing and it sounds like many others had already changed their minds.
https://www.investopedia.com/articles/forex/041515/countries-where-bitcoin-legal-illegal.asp

This will give a positive insight that sooner or later, Bitcoin will become a global currency aside from having USD. This will prove that Bitcoin is a promising and valuable coin in the market.

Read articles about it but wasn't in the industry right away. We talk about it again and that's the time I decided to know more about btc and the rest was history. Hoping that some of our friends will be like that too.

You are right, most people in this space heard about bitcoin and cryptocurrency long before the time they later decided to join, i also joined when bitcoin started being bullish in 2016/2017 but i already heard about it way back and so it is for majority of people in here. I believe in future, even the people still doubting the concept of bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency will join the market especially when we experience the next bull run

I get the point but I think it's hard for older people to understand such things because they grew up with lesser technological innovation. It's already hard for them to use cellphones, what more with crypto and blockchain since it's more complicated to understand. In our generation, advancement is so rapid and they can't follow or cope up with it because during their generations it was not like that. So I also understand if it will be hard for them to understand cryptocurrency.

I believe it's more suitable to teach the younger generation because they can easily cope up with advancement. They will need it in the future years, while it won't be necessary for older people. While we are still at the early stage of crypto adoption, it's the best time to teach those younger people who will benefit from it in the future. Imagine if we manage to achieve crypto mass adoption, those older people probably won't be here anymore, so it's better to approach and target younger people for this kind of innovation.

A good point, I am all for educating older people on how btc and blockchain works, but I am more inclining to teach younger people, my friends, my generation on how btc works. We will be the one populating the world in decades. So if there's someone really need to learn in btc, that's us.

Blockchain and all about this technology is really hard to grasp, even me, I am barely holding on whenever reading threads about the technicality. Slowly I am learning, and what I realized is it takes time. What more to those older people who are not into technology, who are more fond of doing nothing as they reach their retirement years. Its better to invest time to the future. If some old people are willing to learn, then that's when I will decide to exert effort.

Cryptocurrency is all about learning new things most especially for the older people and can be a big challenge for many who could not even open and use a computer well. One thing we have to accept is that this is a modern technology at hand and as always there is that learning curve. There must be that willingness to learn otherwise there will be a problem and that possibility of losing one's digital assets, no matter if you are still a teenager or already 90 years old. The challenge with the seniors can be the assumed complexity of the technology so if there can be ways to simplify things there can be a ready market for that.
Yes, of course there is a lot to learn about cryptocurrency or bitcoin. But I don't think it will be so difficult for the citizens of the modern world to learn. Many young and old people now use Android phones, using various social media including Facebook, Twitter; They can be easily explained about cryptocurrency, bitcoin. They need to be taught technical knowledge on how to earn from here, how to protect their resources, etc. They will be interested in it and will try to know more.

It will surely vary on era basis but this wont generalize to those old people who wont able to have grasp on blockchain tech or in crypto market.
Age wont really that matter but somehow it do really need that kind of knowledge towards tech so that you can able to relate it in a short span of time
but it doesnt mean that those have zero knowledge wont able to learn since it do only need some mix of common sense and basic terms which
isnt really hard to understand.

We know on how big the community is in talks of bitcoin and adoption is still on the move and its never been too late to learn neither you are old or young.

I might have the same reasons as others why learning and using bitcoin, because bitcoin does provide many benefits for those who use it.
I started to learn bitcoin around 2014 and just started using it in 2016. When it was bitcoin only used as investment and trading, but now
the function of bitcoin is growing. Bitcoin can now be used for payment and donations. Therefore the price of bitcoin is more expensive and
of course I have never stopped learning bitcoin.

But there is still a possibility. If the "old" generation always keeps up with the times and technology, I think it is possible to learn about cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin. Especially if someone guides him intensely. The percentage for this is certainly very small compared to the younger generation who are more familiar with the technology. The point is, the OP wants to say that there is no age limit for learning about crypto Smiley

This is still quite early, only a decade of BTC exists. The evolution of this system continues, marked by the adoption of many BTCs, whether as an alternative payment, investment products, trade commodities, etc. I try to provide education in the smallest scope around me, namely the family. I have taught my wife about Crypto World, she is very interested and now likes writing articles about crypto. I have a partner to work together to raise capital. There is also a niece that I have taught, but it seems he is not interested enough so he does not continue this. That's up to him, the important thing is I have already told and taught this opportunity.

I'm not that much fan of continuous learning especially to secure funds and to make sure that I am transacting efficiently, but literally, we people mostly are contented from what we have especially the way how we transact using traditional methods such as transacting with fiats, and bank transfers. I have met allot of people and some of them are already old (60 above), and for them, there's no room for improvements in terms of transactions as even bank transfer is hard for them to execute that they need someone to support them while doing so.

Question arises if they are in situation like this, how can we teach them with new methods of transaction such as bitcoin or to somehow take them out of their comfort zone when in fact, their aren't really comfortable with it in a sense that they need assistance of younger generations. Perhaps, there's nothing wrong to still try and make them accept in bitcoin if we know how we can properly explain it to them. Or to use the concept of "Abstraction" which I learned from Object Oriented Programming.

The easiest way is to make sure you're not going right away into technical terms such as Encryptions, Hash Rates, Blockchain, etc. And to take it slowly by using smart analogy to correlate it while explaining because believe me, old people behaves unpredictably. Make it easy and start your conversation by offering a good meal, share some stories as you transition to tell him a new version of Gold (As I believe it can be a good example of physical bitcoin) which is virtual and anonymously created by someone up until now is not known.

Story goes explaining that they need an internet access in order to buy this virtual currency that they can use for e-commerce, or transacting with other people and it is like sending messages but instead of strings of characters, they can only send numbers in which are called Bitcoins. Another is that bitcoin is like Fungus.
Quote
“Fungi don’t have a central ‘brain,”
what is there is a decentralized networks that shares the same information, the same with fungus having a characteristics of
Quote
"resource management, reproduction, and defense strategy.”
Fungi are also undying as after the five mass extinction, they still remain on earth. That's how powerful bitcoin network is.

I'm sure there comes a portion of the conversation when they will ask how to secure their money will be or how to access it. This is when we will try to simplify things out by explaining public keys and private keys in a way that they usually know how it works such as comparing it with username and password on their facebook, twitter or Instagram accounts. Moreover, try to use analogy as your conversation goes deeper and deeper in a sense that they will understand each terms without you giving them bunch of knowledge in which they don't understand.

Of course everyone will not be interested if we are just sharing things like these without giving them something more valuable than what they normally use. Here we might want to state some features of bitcoin such as semi-anonymous transactions, peer to peer, low transaction fees for international payments, accessibility, and one of my favorite, an investment.

A dream of inviting our old citizens to bitcoin will not be possible if we ourselves lacks the fundamental knowledge about it, the best way to properly explain things is to first learn and use it. There's we can formulate various analogy to correlate terms and to lead them in the right path as they engage themselves with bitcoin. I believe that there's no boundary of ages for people to use it, that is why I like to learn and use bitcoin.
You cannot easily use Bitcoin without having a knowledge about it because knowledge is the most important factors you need to have before you start using crypto currency. If you don't have enough knowledge, there are some times that you will face a problem that you cannot solve and it will make you quit crypto currency as soon as possible. If something like that happens, more crypto users are going to quit crypto currency so we need to spread the words of professionals so that all of us can gain enough knowledge to face all the problems of crypto currency.
