After all these advancement humans made in physics over the last 100 years, it seems very hard for me to believe in a higher power such as God. The universe is so large with millions of stars with empty planets. If there was really a God, why create all this without life on it? Would it be much easier to create different life on all planets?

Scientists, when they are broached with the question of how much we know compared with how much is out there to find, still say that we are only scratching the surface. Somebody placed all that technology into nature. And when you consider how advanced natural technology is, the Maker of it must be extremely advanced. The term "God" is about all we can say about Him because of our ignorance.
