I would prefer altcoins definitely ETH is my choice because it is much affordable than BTC this time. ETH is a great alts that I consider because it is the widely used cryptocurrency that is being adopted by big corporations in their business applications. There is a potential growth I see in ethereum coin that could give me good profit.

You should invest in altcoins because you don't have minimum amount that you can start (try to invest in real estate with a 1000$ for example) on first place. And second if you make good decisions and pick the right coins to invest in the right time, you will multiply your investment. This is almost impossible in stock market.
