Maybe because he doesn't know how cryptocurrency or bitcoin works. People like him doesn't get rich by doing such thing. Thinking about the extreme volatility of using it. Well, as a business minded person, he was able to become billionaire through his business itself. I guess that is one of the reasons why he doesn't support bitcoin. Taking a huge risk in a thing which is prone to negative issues and in an unsure system does not make him to promote it.

He is against bitcoin because he said, bitcoin lacks its actual value and that means he is referring to bitcoin's extreme volatility. He is a business oriented man and of course we think he is ignorant on our part. But he has a point. We don't need someone who is actually against the thing that helps most lives that relies on bitcoin. He wants a "sure" thing which is not present here in crypto world.

From what I see Bill Gates cannot  accept the new world entering to digital currencies. Even if he is a powerful and rich person, he cant stop it. His reason that digital currencies are being used to money-luander, buy illegal drugs and funds terrorist are still happening also in fiat. He may be against it but he does not think how many jobs are now offered becuase of the new digital currencies. The new way to help others in dire need. The new way to send and receive funds in the quickest way. There are quite a lot of opportunities opened. Bill Gates is just closed minded with the Cryptoworld. We dont know for sure if he has other reason disliking it.

If he does that would be a big boost for btc as in general, it needs someone famous that can support it but at the same time, it is a risky investment.

He never said that he is against investing on crypto, why are there still people spreading fake rumours about things that never happened before? Came on guys, stop spreading this

Criminals still use cash to drug trafficking, money laundering and tax evasion until they are discovered by the bank. The crime of using a technology does not mean that the technology becomes a bad thing. Because of that, Bill Gates's company is bad because criminals can use Windows to commit their crimes. Obviously, such an allegation is completely unreasonable.

Bill Gates is not against Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency! He's just against the idea of buying them at the current price which is quite high. Being a tycoon and a foundation in the business world, he is smart to know that whatever he says will certainly make an impact. So if he says something negative about Bitcoin or any other crypto, it will surely have an effect on the value of these currencies. Therefore a price decrease may happen. And when this takes effect, I'm pretty sure Bill Gates will purchase tons of Bitcoins at a lower price. FUD's and fake news are just strategies. Something that we should know by now.

That would be great news for people around the world, because I think Bill gates a very influential person about the business of Bill gates against bitcoin.

Bill Gate or most of rich man don't invest in bitcoin or cryptocurrencies because bitcoin and others cryptos are volatile and risks to invest. Moon and dumping are always volatile, so they can't to invest.

Bill Gate opposed or not opposed to me personally will not bring any change. Bill Gate's a rich man a person like them has no interest in the world of cryptocurrency at all in fact he will be closer to the FUD than the user crypto. He is just annoyed that he can't spend a billion dollars to buy it out and take ownership of it. Bitcoin is decentralised so all authoritarians will hate it, and Bill Gates already missed the boat so he's trying to fud it back down again

There were times when Bill gates and many other influential personalities and business tycoons have rated bitcoin revolutionary and they made lots of profit from that.Earlier bitcoin was not as popular as it is now and was not a threat to the global currencies.There governments were also not against bitcoin so it was all good for these personalities to invest in it and make some money.Now that there is war between most nation governments and cryptoworld,these people has show support to the there government for the business which completely understandable and that could be the reason for bill gates action.

Let Mr Gates invest in whatever company he likes and that will not be breaking any rules if he decides to skip Cryptos. After all I have not heard that he has investment in the porn industry.
