Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? I am confused to buy bitcoin now when it's value is too high.

Here it is a better thing that we have bitcoin with volatile price because if the bitcoin will have stable price then it will not be better thing for us because we already have fiat currency that have price much stable ( having only 1-2% flcutuations According to global market comparison that is negligible ) .
So here bitcoin to have is a better thing for us .
Now here come at the basic or the increase in the price , According to mine calculation the price of the bitcoin changes from 6 to 10 times a year , so don't think about the price that is in the current time , but now and wait for increase atleast for one year to make much profit .
If you will ask for the better investment coin for long term then you will get only a single answer that is bitcoin .

Try to wait for the price to decrease a little. Last month is the best time to buy bitcoin because it dumps back to one thousands. It is so rare to see the bitcoin price to go back to that kind of price especially with a lot of users.late buying some bitcoin, maybe wait a month or longer.

The value of the Bitcoin is volatile since we dont have the perfect prediction when will it be raise and go down. In other word, we dont know when is the suddenly peak of the price and the lowest price or maybe this could be perish, diminish or disappear or whatever you will call it. Since this is just a Cryptocurrency or digital currency that operates independently. Government dont have the controls but the people. If they will lost there interest in bitcoin then you know what will happen. Smiley

Bitcoin's value is not volatile at all. It is getting less volatile each year and it is now actually less volatile than any other currency or asset that exists today. It just has a different market cap and there is not that much volume in the market, but that was at the beginning, now there is more money coming into the market as less coins are available which is why you're seeing the price act this way.

Sorry but you are wrong, just month ago price dropped from 5000 dollars to 3000 dollars, now its over 7000, how do you call that? I don't know for any other currency or an asset that raised 800 dollars over night, that happened few days ago. Market cap is all bitcoins together x price in this moment, higher price od bitcoin makes cap higher. Price is rising due increasing demand or some good news, speculations, price can also be pumped and that is manipulation, and yes bitcoin is vulnerable to manipulations.
well, bitcoin is volatile, but not nearly as volatile as it once was.Bitcoin is already about as volatile as oil and now about 5–6 times more volatile than gold, and the gap is gradually closing. Maybe because many people lack understanding and knowing the potential of the bitcoin so they get easily FUD.

Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? I am confused to buy bitcoin now when it's value is too high.

the supply and demand chain explains it all, the limited number of bitcoin in the market and the great demand for it makes it very volatile and there are other factors like events that take place around the globe with regards to crypto currencies, laws made by governement, statements from popular individuals and many more.
That typically explains it all indeed. There is a lot of great demand for it for some reasons which would always make the value to keep increasing.

See it this way, someone that is also giving you at their value in a way is taking a risk since that person knows there could be someone who could be willing to pay more and then such a person ends up having a loss if there is no correction which is why we see so many people holding and the demand keeps increasing, hence the value increasing as well. With this, we will always experience huge level of volatility for now.

The value is volatile because people panic buy and sell all the time with bitcoin. This is what causes those crazy swings in the graph, but as per your confusion there shouldnt be any try and buy the dip and avoid ATHs.

Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? I am confused to buy bitcoin now when it's value is too high.

It is very volatile because it is still on the development phase and nascent stage. Also, there are so many factors why bitcoin's price is very volatile for example, if multiple countries has started to  ban bitcoin, It will surely affect the law of supply and demand, in result bitcoin's price will drop. Another one, If a legendary demand ,where millions people suddenly want to use bitcoin as their main currency, it will surely affect the bitcoin's price again and will make it price skyrocketed.

Why nobody talks about manipulation? A single trader with large funds in bitcoin and
some other traditional currency can do this, what can a group of skilled people do?
Supply and demand is what creates a price, but who supply us with bitcoins, who
wish to buy bitcoin? Accounts can be made easily, if you are a large bitcoin holder
your actions can have effects on demand, if you are a rich in some traditional currency
your actions can have effects on supply, if you are both you can have effects on entire
market.

Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? I am confused to buy bitcoin now when it's value is too high.

Bitcoin's value depends on the investors and users. The more people investing and holding bitcoin, the higher the price goes. It really depends on market demand. So, expect bitcoin to rocket-up because more and more people are getting interested in bitcoin because it is really profitable.
Bitcoin is an asset, and as usual they always start up with a low amount and a very low market cap. Its price fluctuates to any direction depending on investors, how much they invest and how much they withdraw. But sometimes, I get confused when I’m trying to compare gold and Bitcoin.

Unlike Bitcoin, gold is always less volatile and makes little changes, despite the fact that millions (or possibly billions) of people from around the world invests on it.
A huge asset indeed. Remember during the boom of gold at some point, it also started this way and there was a point when there was just that booming trend due to the demand. However, gold even though being an asset is controlled, while bitcoin is not, and the masses are the one determining what they are willing to pay for it which makes it even better. It is very useful and as long as it keeps being useful, there would always be demand for it.

Yes! you are right. Bitcoin is very unstable. The demand of the people in the market always keeps changing so that bitcoin is so unstable. However, I think if Bitcoin were not so unstable, then people would not love Bitcoin so much. Because of this unrest, investing in bitcoin can be very beneficial. We can succeed if we can deal with unrest.

I think it depends on the users that is how they perceive the value of bitcoin.
For example, if someone reads an article in favor of bitcoin on a popular news site, the automatically perceived value grows, which creates conditions in favor of electronic money. However, if the news site somehow criticizes the bitcoins, the perceived value will fall, which may lead to the sale of coins or to deter some users from the additional purchase of bitcoins.

One good reason why bitcoin may fluctuate towards fiat currencies is the perceived store of value comparison to the fiat forex.Bitcoin has the properties that make it much like gold.We have seen that bitcoin's worth can golf swing based on news events much as we notice with fiat currencies. in

There is no central authority that governs Bitcoin price.  It is purely the demand and supply plus the speculative minds of the investors and traders.  Aside from that the hype and FUD that keeps on popping up from time to time and the investors that have weak hands teamed up with the whales who take advantage of it then pump the price when gather enough is the reason why Bitcoin price is highly volatile.
that is the best quality of bitcoin that bitcoin is decentralized and that is why no person or government can control price of bitcoin. the price of bitcoin is varying due to demand and supply of customers in market whenever the demand is increased and the supply is still same then the price of bitcoin  is going increase through this way the price of bitcoin is going increase and decrease.

I don't know the main reason and I am also wondering why bitcoin is so volatile, but I think, it is because of the bitcoin users. Lots of people are buying and selling everyday and I think it greatly affects the stability of bitcoin, but no matter what the reason is, I like the way that bitcoin is very volatile, it helps traders have the advantage.

Unfortunately bitcoin has become an object of desire for the big speculative capitals that do not think twice to play with the price of bitcoin to get the best possible profit. But I hope that sooner or later, when the market matures over the years, these big swings disappear and we can enjoy a more stable and less volatile environment.

Bitcoin will always be volatile. It's a cryptocurrency whose only real driving force is popular support, which drives demand. If popular support dwindles, so will the price. Sure, institutional, even state support (Japan) for Bitcoin is encouraging, but as a daily medium of exchange, it's difficult to see it winning over a majority of the population. It has value, no doubt, but the extent of its value is difficult to gauge at this point. It's a speculator's dream! The biggest up and downswing of Bitcoin? Expectations.
