Investing money is pretty much the same as investing time and effort. Doing bounties makes investors invest in the projects bounty hunters endorse or advertise. In my part I feel that I'm also investing while doing bounties because you can learn a lot while doing campaigns and I earn not only profit but also knowledge.

You made some good arguments as regard whether bounties are investments or not, however, for the purpose of ICOs and fund-raising,investors are those who support a project by way of donating cash for the success of the project.Bounty hunters may not qualify as investor as their work is meant to draw others to contribute money without which the project may not succeed

I have seen a lot of threads here asking about whether people will invest in a coin or do bounty. Its high time we all understood that, investment is not only about money. To me, any effort put into something to make it a reality can be regarded as investment. People who buy coins invest with their monies whiles those who participate in bounties also invest with their time and energy. Money is a replaceable resource but time can never replaced. To me, bounty hunters are also investors. What do you think?
theres no one says that its not an investment, besides eversince that im here in crypto i always mentioned that time, effort and skills are investment too,and its not just the money wh being invested here.

In bounty hunting we consume electricity, internet access,we use our gadgets that need a maintenance and we spend our precious time, and we twist our mind and make research in google if weh think our advice is not enough for the OP.this is the many things people dont consider for bounty hunters

for me, that is not much different because it bounty use the energy and mind in helping promote the project, while investors are those who have more money that can buy some of the coins on offer

it's just as profitable as we help the project to succeed

Someone has money but no time. Someone has time, but no money. I have money, and time, but I prefer to earn project tokens I need with my brain. So I kill two birds with one stone, I don't spend my money and learn a lot of interesting things about the project. but participation in bounty social programs is a waste of time . You don't remember anything about the project and earn pennies.

I really agree with you, we are the hunters of the prizes are the investors who do not spend money and only help in the field of services, so investors are not only those who spend money for the success of the project but we are helping in the field of services were investors, and practically our services are indispensable in all projects.

It's  true what you say, the time we spend doing bounty work is irreplaceable. So far I do not think so. Always I do not feel invested in a bounty, it turns out time is more valuable than investing money. Your way to see that changed my way of thinking. We should appreciate our efforts in bounty.

I understand your point because we are investing time as bounty hunters. We do our best of making thread, answering the question and giving some opinion on what we know and base on our own opinion. But remember that we are in the different category, we will never be called as an investor without using our money to support the project and we the helpers of attracting the investors through our signatures and different work.

For me, bounty is not like investment. Bounty is a job and nothing more.
If it were as you say, then everything we do in our lives is a kind of investment.
There is a big difference between invest time and invest money.

When you spend time doing bounty you are hoping to get something out of it. The same thing with putting in cash, or in our case coins, you also hope of gaining something out of it. For me time is an asset, so I translate bounty as an investment.

i agree with you, actually  bounty hunter also an investors (not directly), as you can see some of bounty hunter also invest in some ico project right? And they also help the project to make it success by promote the project through social media etc. so without bounty hunter, it is impossible a project will success.

You hunt for bounties, you earn the tokens and those reward you've earned depends on how you'll dispose it.

If you'll hold those tokens then you are giving importance to it as if it's already your investment. You don't prefer to invest through money but you have invested with your time and effort which is also counted.

I agree with you that bounty hunters are investors. Since some don't have their own money or they don't want to spend the one they need in order to survive, they rather invest with their time and energy as you said. Sure, it takes a lot of energy to be a bounty hunter, but think of it as this. You are an early adopter to a potentially one of the biggest technological advancements of our era in terms of technologies based on the internet. That thought alone frightens me and at the same time intrigues me. It is exactly what's keep pushing me forward to stay in the crypto community and try to thrive.

Yes bounty is also investment as the time also worth and worth much more than money but in those thread where people ask for invest or bounty actually pointing out to the investment of their money so in that case they make a difference in both of them and there is really a difference in both of them as in one we invest our money while in other we invest our time. In our life we have our own time while we get money from others and from opportunities that is why they care more for that.

yes of course, they invest the time and energy to follow an ico. but the risk losses is smaller than the risk of investors in investing money. because as a bounty hunter we only promote a project and after that, we will get a token.

A bounty company is not an investment because investing involves investing your funds. I understand that time is money, but in this case this definition does not fit here.

doing bounties consumes time and that is what you invest. good thing about bounty is you don't have to invest money just your effort and time. so for me bounty is investment.

For me bounty its an investment because you give extra effort for doing your task, you pay your bills for internet and electricity and sometimes staying in in front of computer in 2 to 3 hours is not easy at the same time you keep on thinking about the crypto world. But the interesting there is you can get your profit after the campaign. Smiley

Perfectly, from the moment we put some energy into something in life can be considered an investment, soon we know that time is very important and unfortunately do not return back, just in front. Regarding the crypto is no different, there are those who spend their time and money in trading, others their time and energy in the campaigns.
