Gambling is very addicting because of the fact that its easy and very enjoying for a very long time these days.
Gambling is something that appeals to most of us , kinda look good food appeals to most of us. Sometimes it is so addictive we don't want to stop gambling. Like food if you addicted you will get fat so you stop both these addictions the same way. It is in the mind. It will take some time but you can get over it. You must know when you have had enough and never have too much if a good thing.
I am not thinking about gambling addiction as the same as the food addiction, foods really look tempting, but in gambling, I am looking at it as not appealing and I think we are the one forcing ourselves in it, that is why we become addicted to it. Addiction on good food could give you good benefits and could give you full stomach, but good gambling site, could give you headache and empty your wallet, so they are different.

I agree. Gambling has some bad effects just like food. Gamblers must know how to accept these bad effects in order to avoid being addicted to it. If you gambling too much, you will lose your money in only a second. However, most of us are too greedy to stop gambling. Gambling promises to give a high profit which seduces all people here. You must learn and know how to stop gambling when you have had enough of it 
Gambling is addicting because it is a way for you to earn money without any skills required. Unlike other methods of earning money, you need to have qualification and knowledge, gambling dont. However, they dont want to know that gambling also make you lose instead of win.
That is one reason but I think people love the risk too and they like to take a risk and come on top of it, for example in trading you can lose your money too but with the right knowledge you can make money out of it and when you win you feel a rush of satisfaction.

I have never seen anyone addicted to losing, you only do that because you believe you will get to recoup your losses so you keep playing. The part that is addictive to gambling is the winning part because its just sweet to win and when that happens, the believe that it will continue like that comes and once in a while when losses comes in, then the cycle continues all over again.
EXACTLY !! I cannot agree more with this, I would just like to add some things more. Its sometimes win that makes do gambling more and more because suppose you make 100 bets and you loose them all 100 then you will stop for sure.but if you make 100 bets and win 100 then you will surely gamble more and then get more hopeful and less capable of handling loss.
People knew that they are going to lose but they still go and gamble. I have a mom who like to go to casino to gamble for days. Her groups of friends also knew that it is not easy to win against the house edge but they still go and gamble for years. It is because the fun is in the gambling itself and not the outcome.

Lol. of course they are not addicted in lossing. Why the hell they would get addicted in lossing. They are addicted because they keep on playing wether they win or loss. Its sometimes win that makes do gambling more and more because suppose you make 100 bets and you loose them all 100 then you will stop for sure.but if you make 100 bets and win 100 then you will surely gamble more and then get more hopeful and less capable of handling loss.
Not only gambling but sex, drinking, even eating and pretty much everything we do in our lives are somehow addictions because after all we are the creatures of habits and we need to repeat things in order to give meaning to our lives, but sometimes some of these habits become harmful and even destroy our lives.

That is a complete misunderstanding about gambling. Gambling shouldn't be called as an earning money method because they are made to give us just an entertainment and to keep things more exciting kept an option open for gamblers to win big money if they are lucky. But if gambler tries to chase the win then they may lose a lot of money in gambling instead making money.
