I also agree with you, I think that is the main reason of becoming addicted of gambling, as everyone wants to make good money in a short period of time therefore they always looking for shortcuts and to them gambling is one of the most easiest way of making money in short time.
But the fact is a little different as in gambling you can even lose your own money in a short time.

Yup! you are right and there are no certain satisfaction over gambling when it come to someone addicted to it and I think that he will keep on betting again and again until that unsatisfactory subsides but that is not gonna work much for him, he can not be satisfied by just two or more winnings he would go on and on with it.

in most cases people waste hours in simple games(like dice)... what makes it addicting is the chance of winning.

if you only want to have fun, i think you don't need to make a deposit, just use the faucet from the site and play with it, like what i am do in dice gambling. i get few satoshi in that site, i use it for playing dice, no matter i win or loss, i still have my bitcoin safe because i am not make any deposit. if the free satoshi is loss, then i can request another satoshi from the site so i can continue to play in a whole day but i am not playing for daily, i only come into the site only when i need to make fun.

This false hope is enough to make us return to gambling again and again.

I don't think that we are "blinded" by our chances to win. The casinos that operate under the provably fair system usually are able to provide proof that they are being fair and also state the odds before you even bet. So "blinded" by our chances to win, I don't think it is the reason why gambling is addicting.

Just like all forms of entertainment, gambling is preferred over work. Who would work when you are offered an alternative with the same amount of potential reward, which is more fun and takes less time? Wink

Because life is unfair? That could maybe the reason why some people resort to gambling and hope to win money, actually I pity these kind of people because they are just a victim of injustice in this world and they are not given equal opportunity that might give them good income.

Your only desire after that is to return the money you just lost before, everybody says to themself "I will just return the money I lost and I will quit from gambling forever".

Yeah it will be addicting regardless if you win or lose.. but most gamblers are addictive in gambling because they want to chase their loses. And it's good for you if you always win but still remember that it's not forever, you just have to learn to control yourself when you gamble.

Of course that's the best feeling if we always win as we gamble but in reality talk, no person is able to win on his daily basis as he gamble.

And that's what a gambler thinks that he is going to be lucky for each day and he will miss the chance of it if he will not gamble.

They just don't understand that most of us will be just losing in the end if we will not be wise every time we have a chance of winning.
