Well, addiction is addition as most people say but you are right and I too believe that any addiction that just effects our mind and physically does not deteriorate our body then it can be carried in life while any addiction like sex, smoking or etc I think cannot be even compared with gambling.
Gambling is a hobby actually and you can quit it any day with just some money lost in past, that's it !

I think that's too hard to do for a typical gambler, we cannot deny to ourselves that when we lose we will feel something not good and will rage which will result to chasing bets which is the recipe for disaster. yeah i think that is correct. as long as gamblers get that pleasant feeling of winning, even if they've already lost a big amount, they will continue to gamble. the excitement and anticipation also for me adds to that sensation gamblers feel when they place a bet. it doesn't matter if they lose, being able to place a bet and hoping for the best would be fulfilling already

That is the sad truth about gambling, they think they continue on being lucky by taking a win everyday but the sad truth is there are not much winning in it and if they are thinking that even if they are losing so much they are thinking that they can win eventually with it by winning just one time they can get a high rate income from that, and many are thinking this way.

Referring for the money to lose then addiction in games is better than gambling, but we have to understand that any addiction is not good. You can be addicted to drugs, sex, or anything and it does not result to a positive position. Your addiction to games could lose your heath.

They are addicted to the feeling of gambling, the feeling of risking some of your possession. This kind of feeling is usually found in extreme sports but that requires certain skills and not suitable for anyone. However, gambling is easy to pick up.

the only reason which turn people addicted of gambling is the expectation of becoming rich in a very very short period of time and without any hard work. although they realize that the risk of losing money is more than making money in gambling but still continue gambling in this hope that may be next time they become lucky and make good money.

but for this you must be a lucky person, if you are not lucky then you cannot make money in gambling and our all efforts will be nothing, although in some types of gambling your skill and experience work there but still you need your luck more important in all types of gambling.

That is a complete misunderstanding about gambling. Gambling shouldn't be called as an earning money method because they are made to give us just an entertainment and to keep things more exciting kept an option open for gamblers to win big money if they are lucky. But if gambler tries to chase the win then they may lose a lot of money in gambling instead making money.

I agree winning and earning is two different thing. But I believe that gambling is one way for other to earn money by winning games in poker and blackjack.

Anyway, gambling being entertaining and the added benefit of winning a stake just add to the excitement that make our brain produce more hormones that later on is one factor that the person became addicted to the game.

No one is addicted in losing but we are addicted because of losing, that's more appropriate explanation on that. We keep coming back because we cannot forget our loses, and we hope that by betting always we can take it back and maybe win some more.

Only a very rich person that doesn't have something to do with all of his riches are going to get addicted with losing.

But of course, all of us doesn't even want to lose, that's why gambling is being create to make the people lose and get their capital as they play.

It is just a business and advantage to the house when their gamblers are in rage emotion to recover their losses and that's making them addicted.

Great explanation, but bottom line we should not spend the money that is not intended in gambling, our hard earned money is for our family and our savings, the moment we spend it in gambling it will be the start of the future bigger problem and such addicted will ruin our life.

you're right last week ive won .3 bitcoins in gambling but yesterday i've lost almost .6 bitcoins and that why i have a heart ache right now.lol
i dont know how to start again it took a months before i earned it and it suddenly disappear because of my greediness in money through gambling thats why my parents talked to me about my addiction in gambling . but still gambling is life Grin
