Addiction to gambling is like any other kind of addiction . You try the experience wanting to know what does it feel like , you like it , you say to uour self that you won't abuse it and yet you fall in addiction's trap . Specially if you get some money easily out of it theb you'll like the idea of easy money and continue to gamble.

I don't think the reason why they can't quit gambling is because they lost a lot of money already. The truth is they want to keep on playing because gambling is already part of their routine they can't go on a day without playing their favorite game, addicted to gambling don't mind about the money anymore what they are looking is the satisfaction of what gambling can give them.

It's probably a condition because it is a mental part not in physical injuries or something. It's definitely hard knowing that you cannot really stop it easily because it has been a habit for you. It continues to be effective in a way that you think about money/profit. That's your goal and acting on it would be dangerous according to your activities causing addiction.

I agree with you, it does not give us any chance, those opportunities are just in our imagination, profit from gambling leads us to think about the opportunity, but the fact is that we do not have too many chances to win, our winning percentage is very low, profits are too great to make us not think wisely. People think two ways it’s either to play more to earn more money, or to play harder to gives back the money you loose. Being addicted to compulsive gambling will take over your life . It will destroy you and your family/social life . When gambling a lot of thoughts will rush through your mind listing all the possibilities that can happen and all the numbers or games you can bet on . Those images that you visualize of you being super rich without even spending any effort or any drop of sweat . I really don't know why some people tend to think that winning money from gambling is really easy, From all my time from gambling, i have noticed that making money from gambling is like pushing a boulder up a boulder up a rock, it's never easy at all and sometimes fruitless.

Alot of people think like that because they havent come to their sense yet. I have come to my sense and I realized this after I lose alot of money from gambling. If people has already lose alot of money then they will forced to make a decision that they will not like, that is to stop gambling otherwise they will lose alot more then what they supposed to lose

Being close to your relatives or family and friends is a very important thing if you want to stop gambling. As gambling is naturally addicting, we as humans doesn't have human defense mechanism against it. Once our minds started to tell us that we should gamble then we will gamble, this is why many of us aren't comfortable and contented when we gamble because it's really something that's normal and natural.

Family is really important and should be treasured above anything else in this world. When you have good family relations, you just can't afford to risk your lifetime family savings just to gamble because you will surely be thinking that you will go to use that money for the future of your family and loved ones.

In case that you feel you are getting or started to be addicted to gambling, take a deep breath and watch your loved-ones when they are asleep and you will feel that conscience if you bet further because you know that you next bet may lose again.
