The possibility of winning big that is why I keep betting. I usually never bet on odds under 2 because the payout is too low and you get only what you put into the bet.

Gambling is not a past time for most people as they do not gamble. Most people who do gamble do it to win big from experience. I do not know, gambling such as taking drugs, there is something that draws us back to play, even those who have stopped though, maybe it's because it makes us more excited when to play because in gambling there is something very interesting for players

Agreed with you, its always good if we are winning something. once you won some money from gambling then you will gamble again and again in the hope of wining more and more money. This is one of the reason of addiction towards gambling.

It is really a very interesting question because I'm not sure what it provokes in the brain that it is so addicting. Certain amount of risk I guess it should be rewarded by the brain to conquer certain situations but it's like the brain actually becomes drunk and make you do very bad decisions. Of course not everybody experience it the same way. I've read self made millionaires are extremely prone to losing a good (if not all) share of their fortune.
