I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?

I think it is addictive because you want Bitcoin so badly, the truth is not even unlimited money buys happiness. So you should focus on the things you could do to better yourself and have a good time! You don't have to worry about amassing a fortune all the time as if you do and it doesn't work out you could become poor. Of course I think gambling is fun too but it can be a horrible habit if done for too long.

It's addictive because you want to win, and win, and win and win. You have to know when to stop, you have to have self control.
Precisely. Everyone that is addicted to gambling is greedy and do not know when is the right time to stop. IMO, these people will only stop once they lose a lot.

You better seek a professional help if you are really addicted to gambling, that ain't a good sign Cheesy But seriously, I think you are looking for a big win or you are trying to recover your losses that's why you can't stop gambling even losing. I think your motto in life is "Try and try until you succeed" Cheesy

Gambling can be addictive when you get the rush of winning something, or even risking something to potentially win more.

It all comes down to if you can tell yourself when to stop or not. I typically stop when I lose any marginal amount and then try to think of a strategy to get my money back. This doesn't always work out though...

Getting back your money never works.
It is money down the drain. Think of gambling as an expense.  Smiley

Why is gambling so addictive? Because majority of gamblers don't gamble to win - they gamble so they can gamble the next day. The thrill of fighting against the odds is so addicting.
Also people likes to buy hope for credit, not to mention that dollar won is better than dollar earned.

People like the rush of winning money even if it is horrible odds. Look at lottery odds are stacked against you but you still gamble on it thinking the amount you pay for a ticket vs what you can win

Greed is mostly the primary driving factor, for some it's just boredom ...they play to get away from it all, and it gives them a bit of a adrenaline boost every time you win

something. Most of these operations are configured to pay out in small burst... it gives you the "hope" that you might hit it big soon... some people do, but they keep on

gambling and the house usually win in the long run. It's all smoke and mirrors... and the adrenaline needs to be fed.  Roll Eyes

Being addictive is part of it I think, It's better to avoid trying at all if you didn't try it already.

Yes being additive is gambling's nature and getting addictive is human nature. That's the reason every gamblers are becoming addictive after some period of doing gambling. I believe there is no prevention to avoid getting addictive. Some times good emotion control may give us some better result but not all the time.

I don't think it is addiction to everyone.

Just stating that gambling is addicting generally doesn't seem right

some gamble for the fun of it .... some to earn money fast.... some to lose :p .

it might become an habbit/adiction because people always think there is a hope to win something big someday and cover up what was lost.... HOPE

It's addictive probably because of the thought that you can make easy money. When you lose, you think you can chase your losses, and be back in the green again, though it never happens (pretty much). It's also based on greed.

Human greed has been around from time immemorial.
I am sure there are references to gambling in the holy books of all religions.

i only know one bible verse that refers to gambling which is 1 Timothy 10:16 that says "the love of money is the root of all evil" something  like that (can't remember the complete verse). pretty sure there are more verses in the bible about gambling. i don't know any on other holy books.

The Bible has references to gambling but not in a negative way.  They left it to chance when they were forced to make hard decisions.  Casting lots is a a form of gambling and it is mentioned several times in the Bible.  It used to be a common practice to determine who had to go out and do what act.  Here's one citation but there are plenty more:  1Samuel 14:40 - 42.
