That is true. And after we experienced those fun and excitement, we get to form of habit gambling. Then, we just realized that we get hooked into it and is already addicted to gambling.

It is a very challenging game because it involved money . We want to win but it is hard to win that is what makes it very fun. I think the fun part is when we lose money but we want to go for more that is fun but atleast it is risky . If people are like me to only play with a little amount than that would be good

But then if a person takes gambling as a challenge - they will not stop until they secure their wins. Its like making that person an addict because no one knows what wins may happen in gambling and if that person will really win the stipulated amount that they thought they would. No one is contended with their wins - everyone wants more. Its important to stop soon and not think of ourselves as lucky people who can the beat the house, because that never happens.

IMHO you do win, and you do lose, that's how it should go.
BUT, the catch is, as many have mentioned, if you loose, you tend to think: "If I just spend a bit more, I will win (Since you know you can also win, not loose, as it is)".
AND you do not stop, if you continue loosing, still hoping you will win it back, until the last cent.

I would call it something like, exploiting a primal human urge, which many people, very very many can't just control.

This is also an important point, the force of habit, I remember that back in the day I had trouble assisting to school it was a chore, but even on those days when things were not right or I felt sick I still went to school and it was mostly because it was an habit, so once a person begins to have the habit of gambling is going to be very difficult to get rid of it.

It is addicting when we win that is why dont even think of playing too long or even try to enjoy it. When we enjoy it, then we will want to do that again, that makes thing difficult especially when we want to quit . We can play it without having to enjoy it, when we dont enjoy it then things will become so much easier

Why is it so addictive?

We became addicted to gambling because when the time we play and result to loss we tend to play again because we want to retrieve our money and same goes if we won we tend to play again because we want more profit. And I think that is the strategies of gambling owners that for the fist time they will let you win but you end up to lose.

How can you say that gambling is a good way to earn some money when every single game at a casino, online or off-line as a house edge, where real life casinos have a much higher edge than online dice.

Gambling is something that people should do for fun and never bet more than they can lose like a few pennies at a time

That's true but people forget the fact that luck will not always favor them and majority of times they will be loosing their money but still people keeps on gambling hoping to make quick money in quick time.

Probably most of the addicted gambling players, being so interested in the big prizes. Well, I'm also sometimes so interested in big, and sometimes addictive, gifts. Grin

I think that gambling appeals to some of our strongest desires, after all who does not wish that it had more money or something like that, I suppose that most of us, and gambling gives the illusion that you can get that extra money by doing something that seems apparently simple.

Yes, having the proper money management will allow the gambler to stay focused on making the money that they want to make. If the gambler does not have the proper money management then the gambler is very likely to lose his money and continue to deposit more money into his account and continue to lose the money that he deposits as well.

That is really a certain way to cause lots of problems - when you are addicted to gambling and you no longer control yourself from gambling and even bet or roll in no longer according to your betting plan. The worst part is when you even lost all of your family savings and properties - that is the bad thing that could ever happen to you.

People that have one million dollar will not play anything that is related to gamble anymore. When you have that much of money, all you will think about is how to get more money by running some business and that kind of business is not something that is gamble related. We were not talking about people with a million dollars in their pocket rather we were talking about people that have won that in gambling, if such person did won his fortune with gambling I don’t see why that person will leave gambling alone after having that much of a good fortune, but you are right those that earned that money are not thinking in gambling their money away.
