It's because of the nature of gambling. You lose a lot and win a small amount. When you see a small victory, you think you've achieved something and it gets you excited and you start gambling more and eventually out of control may get broke
Many people get addictive in gambling in some many reasons and they don't notice and know they will addicted. Because they wants to win and this is they want. Gambling is the opportunity to make money instant and easier. Because they do habits in gambling so that it will become addicted, it a chance to win and if win they have earn double. If they bet and win they will happy for the winning. Because gambling is for fun and earn money. Many people get risk and gives people excitement and experience and make feel good.

Actually when they loss on gambling, they try to recover their losses by playing with more deposits and large bet size which will make them loss way more than what they have lost before. Greed and attempt to recover past losses are the main reasons for gambling addiction.such addiction that is what can make a person's life destroyed.

I think this addictability is one of the most apparent and main features of gambling, You can't completey control yourself and you desire more of it, Not sure about the scientific aspect but I guess it has to do with hormone stimulation on the brain and the like.

That's the result of not controlling your emotion as you will get attached into it. And also it's a result of being a very greedy person, you will soon become addicted into it. In a way you are correct, but at the same time, the reason we don’t see people being addicted to gambling that have won one million dollars is for the simple reason that there are not many people that can claim they have earned that amount of money, I think the only ones that can claim that are professional poker players and those that win the lottery.
People that have one million dollar will not play anything that is related to gamble anymore. When you have that much of money, all you will think about is how to get more money by running some business and that kind of business is not something that is gamble related. Professional poker player could earn more than one million dollar if they are good

The issue with gambling being so addictive is that those who are always losing are trying to recoup the monies that they lost, I haven't seen a someone who has won a million dollars being addicted to gambling.

gambling is so addicting because people can make his money double within minutes.you don't find any way double your money faster than gambling.people are greedy they think they will rich in a day but at the end they lose their money.again they will back with new hope today they can be lucky win big and recover their lose.they lose again and again 
yeah it's a usual thing when people think about gambling are an easy way to get additional money. without thinking about the risk that you can lost it all more than the possibility you earn it. that mindset make you can't stop doing it repeatedly, no matter how much you have lost you keep dreaming about one day you could win and get back what you have lost, the truth aren't like that.

that is the reason for gamblers to continue to gambling, soon they will realize that what they do is wrong and i hope they realize this before they loss all the money. actually we are have a greed in gambling, but its only depend on us how to control our greed so we can stop in every time we want. the addicting gamblers will not stop the games until they don't have any money in their pocket and but this will not make they stop the games, maybe they will borrowed from their friend so they can continue to playing gambling.
