Actually, the unavailability of a particular game at the most popular and widely used casino and sportsbooks does mean that the game isn't popular on a global scale because casino platforms don't entertain games and sports that are played on a local scale but they only add games and sports that are followed and liked by a global audience just like football, cricket, tennis, boxing, a bunch of other sports that are played and liked by people globally.

Both cockfighting and horse racing are not games or sports that are played in every region. Cockfighting is only popular in a few countries, the Philippines is one of them, and if we talk about horse racing, it's mainly played in the UK, the US, and Australia, other than these regions, the game isn't that popular.
I agree with you on this because on a number of occasions, I have seen some games that are most popular in offline casinos but look unpopular in online crypto casinos and that is because of the dynamism of the market and how its sentiments work,  anyway, we need to outline that kind of games and to know how to manage the way we navigate between both class of games.

Horse ride is quite popular offline more than it is in inline casinos and this is not something we should debate about and this is not like sports bets that are available everywhere and popular among others.

Have to agree with the both of you, I could use my country as an example, I remember when I used to live in Lagos state, one of the biggest states here in Nigeria, Horse racing was, and I believe its still is a very popular game amongst the local casinos over there, gamblers could bet on the game both offline and online.

But then, I left Lagos state and relocated to the state where I currently live, and its as if I moved to an entirely new world when it comes to such games as horse racing, most people over here don't even know what horse racing is, aside from those that are hard core gamblers who have been gambling for years and have probably traveled different places.

So yeah, personally, I consider horse racing a classic or rather, a vintage game, some of old, basically, its a game that is mostly enjoyed by old forks, newer generation don't seem to enjoy such games anymore.

The popularity of sport will depends on your environment since what mostly introduce or what you is most provably the sports would provably catch your interest. Its just horse racing is not been introduce to us since the common sports we can see on free t.v is basketball, volleyball and football. Other than those sports is ignored by media since maybe their viewership is so low for covering horse racing and other not popular sports.

If you search it on good the result shows that its popular on certain country and US is included in the list maybe you didn't notice it there because the people near you is also not a horse racing fan. Horse racing is classic and up till now it still exist and for sure fans of this sports know some channels that covers the race.

Let's keep this as simple as possible and let's not shitpost!

I see thousands of posts about football, a few hundred about other sports, and the rest are just almost non-existent. I'm a gambler myself but I stopped a while ago betting on soccer, all the Nxx in American sports and I'm just betting now and then on horse racing, from one penny at a time to some larger sums in case of a grade 1 event or festival.

Honestly, Horse racing is fairly niche even in real world. When it comes to spectators with respect to Soccer/football and other sports. Information about the horses aren't readily available unlike major sports. You have to be really into it or have access to facilities to look at the horses and their previous performances to have an idea about potential winners.

If you are looking purely from gambling perspective, there are better and accessible alternatives available like dice, slots, and a lot more of casino games. Horse racing is a rich old man sport (kinda like golf but even more niche when it comes to accessibility). While, most crypto gamblers are fairly young who have access to plathora of gambling options.

I'm sure there might be a few people interested in Horse racing and crypto but that's a fairly small percentage.

Maybe if we are going back to take the statistics of games that we play more often both now and in the past, we could see that there's a large number of them that aren't listed on the casinos games again because they are not trending as with this present and modern gambling technology if we the gamblers aren't having much interest on these games, then why should the casinos enlist them since they are to serve us right, every available casino games were made available intentionally on a specific reason that they are part of the most trending gambling games that quickly attract the interest of gambling, in this case, I think horse racing shouldn't be the only one to be considered, but other games as well which are not invoked as before.
The unavailability of a particular game on the casino is not and can not mean that the game is unpopular since gambling is not limited to online casinos alone because we still have many old gambling games that may only be listed on the traditional physical casinos,  like in the case of horse racing,  cockfighting and the rest.

These are all games that are popular in real life but are not listed on casinos that we know or are popular and this may be due to one reason or the other,  but I suspect that it will be as a result of low patronage from players in it been implemented too.

I get your point here mate, gambling is a general event we all get entertained with, also, we can consider some games as the trending ones while others as not, just as you can see that in gambling today, we are having the sport betting gamblers as the most populated gamblers in the sector, who knows maybe it's because it is the most recognized sport event and the reason being also a live event that looks more real and trusted, though this doesn't mean everyone fall under this same category but we have the majority in it, how many people are that interested in horse riding, horse racing and horse gambling.

- It is inevitable that there will be shitposts and quota filling based on your judgement if you make one prediction game.

- I think so that's enough as long as there will be a prize, there will be interest on it and no matter how much it would be, as long as it's free.

- I have seen discussions before it and even an ann thread that's all about horse racing, I just can't recall it. So there are real ones.

- Do you honestly think running a prediction game (run with my own funds) would attract genuine interest in this and not just shitposting quota?
- Would let's say 1-2 mbtc (per event, about one or two per month) be enough for people here to at least open a few links and take a look at what hoses are running and what their timeform is?
- Is anyone here actually gambling on horse racing?

I only bet on horse racing whenever I see other gamblers share their predictions on the best horse to pick in certain races. If i'm on my own, I probably wouldn't have the slightest interest in the sport, and i'm thankful they introduced me to horse racing, even if it's only for a short while.

If the prediction contest doesn't have a lot of requirements, then there's a possibility. It might be worth suggesting this sport for the next season of BSFL, but it'll depend on the schedule of the next big event.

So no post quota to make?  Grin My old local gambling forum that covered this is also near death, I'm sitting in the sun 8 hours a day boring myself to death, so here comes feedback next part :

I used to bet on horse racing before and it's really fun to watch and it's heart wrenching you actually see this horse run in front of you. Not really sure though, maybe it's the odds or the profit margin? Although in Middle East and Australia it's very popular, or maybe the notion that horse racing can be fix. After all, the jockey is the one controlling this magnificent animals and so if they will slack obviously the horse will not run faster.

I have to take a look at my PM as there was someone who also says that he wants to have this kind of prediction game.

I never really had the opportunity to bet with horses, but I wanted to do it, when I studied at the U many did it, some won and were very lucky, other days they went and didn't win any, generally they gave it up. blame one of them for being a lump of salt, or a black cat, or all those references that help to highlight or characterize a person that they used to see who didn't have much luck, that's why they blamed him, something very funny indeed. , but they always did it, the truth is I don't know how many horses there are that participate, or rather how many riders, and what training the riders must receive, although it is not the other way around, because they are people who only have to resist the speed and that they hit the horse with a toy to make it go faster, I have never seen if there are many accidents of these, because if there are they are very dangerous, because it is very likely that they will kill themselves, because at that speed and falling to the ground can happen. It can be something deadly, so for the Jinittes it is usually something very dangerous, I think that for this de'prote you have to have a lot of concentration, a person who is afraid or whose concentration fails can make a mistake that cannot be forgiven.

I don't know how much animal abuse is given to one of these horses, but for these horses to perform in a race, they must have a special diet, a very good load of vitamins and they must have a very adequate diet so that Don't become very stupid and slow, this is what basically occurs to me, personally I like whatever has to do with animals, what I don't like is that they make them suffer or that they practically have to submit to acts that are not appropriate, as I have said, currently there are many rights that animals have, there are many and anything that is going to be done to an animal is denounceable and they will immediately be prosecuted and imprisoned.

I dont see any problems in regarding about horse racing or any other racing which it is really that involving animals unlike on that cockfighting which it is
really that fight to death and surprisingly there are people who do really make a bet on that. Making up some research about how many animals are really into sports or considered to
be that you could really be able to bet on and i found this.

It is really just that among on the list Horse racing is really that quite known or really that popular compared to others.
Also its really that more interesting. It might not be heard that much on this forum but outside it does really have that
huge number of recognition.

There are far more sports betting that is more interesting than horse racing.  We have boxing, MMA, football, and many others that capture the peoples' interest.  I myself don't find horse racing interesting because there is no plot or drama behind this sport unlike in boxing and other sports that tends to create controversies and dramas that take the interest of many people.
Yes, as we can see, most of the forum community only likes to discuss the sports you mentioned above, not horse racing. Maybe there are those who are interested in betting on horse racing but they don't discuss it much here, even though what OP meant was just providing a little new input and discussion on the gambling board, that doesn't mean horse racing is like the old fashioned bets. Most of them bet directly at the horse racing venue, a kind of offline betting for gambling. there compared to online casinos.

I also don't find too many casinos that support horse racing gambling because on average not many people understand gambling except football on this forum, I also don't really understand how to gamble on horse racing and the profits obtained there. Maybe I would like this thread. Also discusses horse racing betting in full so that it can be more popular, of course.  Grin

Horse racing is a nice sports but in times of popularity they  are not much popular because there other sports like football, basketball Gulf and many more other sports that has the Interest of people, I don't no why must people doesn't have much interest on horse racing or maybe perhaps is because of the risk involved were as someone could easily get or injured while racing using the horse, and also it takes more time to learn horse racing, because to me is seem more difficult to learn than football, the most popular sports is Soccer and everyone is more interested on the soccer based on one reason or other even me my best sports is soccer.
Horse racing is truly an exclusively elite sport and the passion for horse racing, it seems to me, is typical of people who really love animals, in this casec horses.  Even in. the countries of the Middle East, many people are also keen on camel racing.  And I can’t even remember what other animals under human control compete in speed or endurance.  Probably somewhere in the Indian provinces there are still competitions with the participation of elephants, but in my  opinion these are some kind of games, but not speed races.  I repeat, the effective winner of such competitions can only be a rider who understands the animal well, his horse or camel, or perhaps an elephant.  And the animal must also trust the jockey, get used to him in order to compete on equal terms with other athletes.  And of course, football eclipses any other competition with its massive participation.  All you need for it is a team of professional football players, a football field, a pair of goals and a ball!  Smiley
That's all.  And horses are quite difficult and expensive to maintain.  So horse racing is a very expensive sport, an d therefore it is an elite sport.

Things in the world have changed, and horses and horse racing are considered animal abuse
Man....I'd have to strongly agree with those who say cockfighting is animal abuse, because there's definitely intent to injure animals that otherwise wouldn't be.  But horse racing?  I think that's stretching the definition of abuse pretty damn far.

You know the US made a postage stamp a long time ago commemorating horse racing?  It's true:

That was back in 1974 of course, and attitudes have shifted a lot about many things since then, but there's no way in hell the US or any civilized country would create a stamp with two birds trying to slaughter each other.  Can you imagine?  The people who raise those racing horses don't want to see them get hurt, not on the track, not off of it.  Ugh.

The problem I think here is that it's really unattractive compared to similar games for newbies. I myself don't really understand the rules that appear in horse racing, but I also have no intention of researching and finding ways to bet on it. Depending on the local element, I think it is like some games that rarely appear on services. But if I used it now, I would still choose another game to watch and not like the chaos or drama of horse racing.
The reason why it's not that much of attractive or people don't it interesting is because it's not very popular all around the world and it's only played in some regions and the spectators of the game are mostly the ones who have always liked horses and stuff like that which has made them interested in the game. Those who like sports but don't have any interest in animals such as horses will barely find the game interesting or be willing to make bets on it.

It is also not a very easy-to-understand game in my opinion, you can't do much research about a horse or the rider and decide whether it will win a match or not since they are not always so popular so that you can find stats and information about them everywhere online just like football and famous players.
Not that popular? Then how's this.

- Do you honestly think running a prediction game (run with my own funds) would attract genuine interest in this and not just shitposting quota?
Running such a prediction game would attract users to take part in that game only and they won't really go deeper into horse racing thing at all. Most of them would take part in order to with the prize of the prediction contest but they won't get any interest into horse racing or betting on horse racing games.

- Would let's say 1-2 mbtc (per event, about one or two per month) be enough for people here to at least open a few links and take a look at what hoses are running and what their timeform is?
Yes, that would be more than enough for the users of the forum to open a few links in order to increase their chances of winning the prize. There can be some chances that a few players might get some interest in horse racing if you run such games for more than 6 months.

- Is anyone here actually gambling on horse racing?
Well, I'm not someone who gambles on horse racing games but I tried horse racing games a few times in past with lost bets only. I don't really remember those but I placed bets based on odds rather than doing my own research.
