when ico company does not collect soft cap or hard cap thats why they increase ico time so that time was long.
Yes some projects increase their timing in the time when the ICO is running but many have now planned from beginning that they have to keep a longer time for their ICO. They often last then for two or three months. That time is selected because in that time some investors invest and experience it and then it take time to spread it to others while a shorter time or one month will not work for spreading more awareness.

Different ICOs have different target hence different set soft cap and hard cap with largely determine how long any ICO will last for secondly the bearish market is not encouraging investors to support ICOs which make some ICO to extend time for ICO

This is because some ico have a lot of token to sell and this makes their token sale period to last long and also to make their coin valuable in market.

In most cases, the longer time for the ICO project is not such a good sign. This may mean that the project collects very little money, which means there is no interest from investors to it. As far as the bounty campaign fees are concerned, it depends on how much a percentage is allocated and how much money is collected. This is my point of view.

Initial Coin is simply referred to as ICO,Because ICO's time is unpredictable, it may be completed within a short period of time or it may take several months to complete,Therefore, generally only the amount of financing can be used to control, that is, soft cap and hard cap

Different parameters govern the length of a token sale campaign. These include:
A division of the token sale activity (e.g. presale and main crowd sale)
Capitalization (soft cap and hard cap)
Media publicity
Ratings and ranking from ICO review websites
Community support of the project
Smooth running of the campaign (i.e. without technical glitches during transactional activities like hike in transaction fees, or unstable web wallet, or hack in the web service of host ICO)

The fact is that the crypto market has been very very bad recently and as such many ICOs suffer to make it even to their soft cap. In the end, what happens is that they'd have to increase the time period for the ICO to cover up for more investors to get interested. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.

The period of an ICO will depend on their roadmap. It is influenced by the token supply to sell, the readiness of the smart contract and others. The stage of pre-sale, private sale, and also ICO also influence.

That long period of time doesn't mean that you will have better profits either as a bounty hunter or an investor. There are a lot of aspects. Bounty rewards are varied and depend on funds allocation and your rank/followers.

With some reason they need to promote more on social network site- offer real use cases project. You need to know that ICO is like IPO in the early 90's-2000 and ICO are gaining popularity on the internet that will get billion's of dollars in price.

Due to the global supervision of ico, ico needs to face a variety of legal issues!
The current market is very sluggish, ico needs to carry out widespread publicity, ICO takes a long time to complete sales targets!

This is a question I ask myself all the time that why do so many ICOs usually take so long period of time before they are  finally over. Some ICOs could go for long period of time as long as 6 months and 7 months thereabout. Does it mean the longer the period of ICO the better the rewards? Does that long period of time really mean I will have better profits either as a bounty hunter or an investor? I need some clarification and probably some  advise as a newbie to ICO bounty.

Most of the ICOs and token sales out there only have an idea and did not start working on their products.

But even when you invest into a project that already has an MVP it could take 2-3 years to build a stable and adopted product.

ICOs last a long time because they aim to reach the hard cap or at least get close to this goal and this is a difficult task, even more so with the bearish market

Yes I agree, its obvious that they just wanted a long period of exposure in order to gain more exposure in order to reach the expected maximum capitalization. The problem of this one is people tend to get-out of the project mid-way because it takes a lot of time and even bounty participants could not hold on it that much.

in my opinion, it is done because it is based on the calculation of profit and loss, in addition with the aim to attract more investors, to increase sales of their token that can support the success of the projects.

Each project sets its own conditions. Sometimes it passes quickly, sometimes longer. The project collects funds, wants to expand, and also seeks investors.
