Trying to buy bitcoin requires id and submitting some personal information , in the past it was easy to get you hands on some btc but with the price of bitcoin going up means you are paying a large amount of money and this is a way to try to control the flow of bitcoin because recently bitcoin has been used in some illegal action and by many drug dealers and hackers to provide their services on the black market and that is the main concern of the governments and the bitcoin community so making bitcoin as safe as possible and be used for the right purpose.

Yes, if to read the topic's question the answer is easy that you may buy bitcoin through exchangers. For example YoBit, they provide transactions very fast.

You need to buy on yobit or some other exchanges if you do not want to show your identity as they do not need any verification of your documents for buying and withdrawal of your bitcoins. but for that you will need to deposit through a payment processor like Okpay etc.

I agree that buying BTC is not as easy as walking to your local store and buying groceries, but it is not some amazingly complicated or hard problem.
Why are you complain so much? I never noticed that people cry when they are asked to provide THE SAME set of information they need to buy BTC when they use their local bank!
If you are gladly giving all your credentials to banks then you can share it with REPUTABLE bitcoin exchange as well.
Maybe with the reason of trusting their local banks than a random bitcoin exchange. Usually people tend to trust physical bodies than online. I guess if Bitcoins will be available from local exchanges, maybe people will feel free to buy there by providing their documents.

Buying BTC is definitely a pain in the ass.
In my opinion, its one of the last things that is keeping a lot of new users from adopting the system.

Unless you were able to mine Bitcoin early and make a ton of money five to seven years ago,
you are stuck with some very un-attractive options.
1. Find someone on a forum or a site like localbitcoins, buy some coins, pay a rather large markup, and hope you don't run into a scammer or bad seller.
2. Join a site that will probably require multiple forms of identification, will close your account or freeze your money without any notice, and pay a huge markup.

Unless you already have coins or an established relationship with a seller, you are forced to jump through a lot of hoops to convert fiat to Bitcoin, and its even worse to convert BTC to fiat....

Because it bitcoin's price right now is going high again and people are holding their bitcoin because they are waiting until it's price went up to it's highest peak, let's say for about $1200 or more. If you want to buy bitcoin that bad, I suggest you to buy online, well there are risk when buying online because you could get scam, if it is only you want to buy bitcoin really bad.
yeah you are right that bitcoin is really going to increase its price too much faster day by day and adoption of bitcoin is also increasing too much faster and i also hope that bitcoin will be reach its price to 1200$ sooner.

I agree that what is becoming difficult is to AFFORD a single Bitcoin and hold  Embarrassed
Good point. This must be another perspective of how hard to buy bitcoin in terms of how much costlier one bitcoin.
I believe with the respect to current price levels of bitcoin no one will be able to buy one full bitcoin for holding purposes.

Fortunately we are able to buy partial amounts of bitcoin so I guess it will not be so hard to buy bitcoin yet.

It's not hard to buy bitcoins: what it is true is that it is becoming harder and harder to afford a single bitcoin. The more we keep on moving this way the more difficult will be to be able for an individual to hold a single bitcoin.
It's not hard to buy, that's easy

This.  It is not hard to buy them, use a legitimate exchange or wallet and submit your ID - usually you only have to do this once.  More security measures are being implemented as bitcoin becomes more popular.  I appreciate some of these security measures.

I have not really bought any bitcoin in a while, i have been mostly trading this last year.  but i have been trying to buy today from localbitcoins and bittylicious and it has been a real challenge.  they want photos of me holding cards on localbitcoins and on bitty they need about 4 different forms of id, what is going on.

this is seriously restrictive to anyone wanting to get into bitcoin,  like its meant to be pseudonymous but if the gate ways into bitcoin dont allow that people will be put off.    Huh
This is the issue only when if you want to buy Bitcoin with Fiat money otherwise there is option to mine Bitcoins without giving any id proof to third parties.
Other option is trade with individual directly and don't involve third-party/website.
Option on mining bitcoin to acquire some of it is possible if you do have the money to invest on but how about if you only have a few? Then its not really an ideal thing because it wont work. P2P is possible on people on your place but the risk is still there thats why buy only a few amounts of bitcoin to avoid unexpected events. Its really hard to buy bitcoin from exchanges because they will really need your identity.

Bitcoin is a lot easier to  earn than buying it. It just however need hard work but it can be bought on localbitcoins.com. You'd have to do meetups to actually own some of it. But i still don't recommend because you still reveal Identity to someone.

Right being identified is quite hard to deal with. People might scam or use you in their bad transactions. There is really a need to know who are the people that can be trusted especially in trading plus the time to convince each other and the language too. It is easier to earn it via investing, gambling or signature campaign than trading.

To me it's easier to simply buy them. There are many exchanges or other sites where you can do that legally.
Of course, there is some verification process you have to go through. But after that you are free to do with your bitcoins whatever you want.
And if somebody wishes to have anonymous bitcoins, he can always use a mixer to achieve tha goal.

The same issue you are having is same thing that have even discouraged me from registering on some exchange site for trading even over here too to buy Bitcoin from some sites, its a thug of registration doing some unnecessary "KYC" even after selling beyond the normal ruling rate and that is even when government has not promulgated any law regarding that.
For your type of people dealing in person and dealing within your known community will be more helpful.

We must identify local bitcoin users from our school/work place or even in our friends. If we start dealing within our friends then buying or selling bitcoins will be no more a big head ache deal.

Well i do agree. Local bitcoin users  or if there are local bitcoin sellers then its good . Well here in our country it is not really difficult to buy bitcoins because we do have store in our country that we could buy bitcoin but the problem is we cant use our bitcoin to buy some items in their store.

A friend of mine have just found a person online to whom he sends cash in an evelope by post in exchange for Bitcoins. For him it was working so far, but of course I understand that it is not so easy to find such a person. Probably using an escrow would make it easier, but as far as I know my friend is using no escrow.
