Neo was not silent at all. They have been active in development status and their roadmap was fully sync on their timeline. We can not see them on the main headlines but they are active, hoping they will be in the headlines again.
Just saw a signal that NEO is going to explode, 30-50% profit is waiting here. You do not have to believe me, but find another source that will provide technical analysis on NEO and he will tell you same scenario.

I personally think they're doing allright actually. I mean, what kind of project needs to keep pushing out announcements just to give people the idea that they're actively developed? Bitcoin surely never needs to do this yet we all know about the developments going on under the skin.
I think of noisy coins like Tron (that guy can't stop making alerts and announcements) or even let's say BCH. Then look at NEO (China) and Waves (Russia). Small noises, big stuff.

Hey are doing very great in the market, at list they still belong to the rank of top 20 altcoins, the only thing I see with NEO is that they are not utilizing their technology to the full capacity, NEO is actually a coin that would have been able to compete with Ethereum, but their team is quite weak and not properly pushy, they need to be pushy, otherwise Binance chain will really block them completely. It is not that Binance is still the best exchange or the best competing with Ethereum chain now, but because they have that business drive and are quite pushy, that is why they are gaining more relevance and it seems as I their chain is the best next to Ethereum.

Last year, many people believed that NEO could beat Ethereum and takes its place. It did not happen. Nevertheless, the altcoin can grow well. The fees for NEO transactions are very low as the token is not mined, all the operations are very fast, faster than ETH operation. I suppose that the project will be very successful. The goal of it is to create a smart economy of the future, to combine cryptocurrencies, digital identification and smart contracts into a single system to minimize the costs of transferring assets between different agents. And they will reach it.
China is in an economic crisis. I think NEO's working team has just had to cope with their country's economy and the recent downtrend of BTC, the market. It is very difficult for them to stand up.
NEO is an excellent Chinese blockchain. But it has many competitors now, because of it it is very difficult to show result as earlier. But I trust in this blockchain project. Besides it now perfectly grows. NEO is obligatory itself still will shoot!

I don't know what they are developing for their new products going forward, but the value of neo has increased quite satisfactorily in the past month. for now most coin majors only follow the price of bitcoin to face the end of the year.

well. neo will probably increase like ethereum. there must be more neo based icos and projects first. so there will be a natural demand and buy orders for neo. i think it can be happen as soon as market turns to bull.
Neo didn't bring anything to the table besides neo/gas. Neo was Chinese ethereum and the expected thing was Chinese ico's would you NEO. And it was going well but at some point, Chinese government decided to ban crypto so NEO became a deserted chain. There is some projects choosing them very rarely but it is not enough. And no-one just buy it to get %6 yearly gas rewards.

This is nonsense, I would never follow any of the signal. Also do your part of research and invest then. This pump and dump signal group will ruin your investment. I have seen so many of them.I know that right now, most of these new projects are threatening their existence because of the high promises and better solution they promised to give, but it is going to be a matter of time before those ones fades away. Most of these old projects will still regain their position back, but pending that time, we just have to wait and hope for Bitcoin bull run, because that is when they mostly increase more in value.
When market is fine, silence is good. I don't see this like a very negative parameter.
