@GRR Because:
1. Ripple is a private company, and that's opposite to what other cryptocurrencies are: somewhat decentralized projects with leadership but not really owned by anyone.
2. As a private company, ripple can release any number of tokens they want, so investing into it it's like pouring money on a bottomless bag.
3. Ripple is centralized. For example projects like dash atleast they are trying to appear decentralized, even tho most nodes are owned by the devs that instamined the coin.
4. Ripple probably works as a project, but i don't see a reason why someone would invest into it because the profit prospects are so tiny given the reasons above. Even if every bank of the world partners with ripple, nothing would change. As soon as people would buy and pump the price up, they would release new coins to make money out of thin air.

xrp down from 1400 to 480 ...i think someone buy all xrp in low price like what they did with dash at 0.01 btc ..than pump to 0.08 ..or no one care about xrp  Grin

Because there is too much total available coins.

Just like dogecoin.

Even if Ripple had a marketcap of 5.000.000.000$, its price will be only 0.13$

Because there are not new investors who invest in ripple with large of money
movement ripple's price be driven by traders on markets and I don't see innovations
updating from the developers of ripple that make ripple coin more interisting for new investors
for example should the developers goes to remittance business on every countries
and make cooperation with local business related remittance.

BTC to the moon is inevitable...
because the market makers or i better call them the pumpers have only so much money and so many bots and accounts on poloniex to pump the coins! they don't have a million hands and eyes and they certainly don't have unlimited funds. they can only pump a limited number of coins and right now the two of the biggest coins (dash and eth) are being pumped. after the bubbles of these two coins burst all the money will fly back to bitcoin and to other altcoins.
Ripple can be next. i am also thinking litecoin.

So, I am wondering why Ripple is falling behind in growth in this current bubble. Why is nobody pumping ripple while every other possibly worthwhile or shitty coin? Does anybody have a decent explanation for me?
