Daily trading can sometimes be really stressful for me. So, I think holding a coin for a long time might be highly profitable, because, in my opinion, there are a lot of good coins which are promising for the future.

of course you will be really stressfull, because day trading will make you live in front of your computer in a day,
and if you do a long term hold you don't need to watch your chart everyday,,
and personally i agree with people who hold a good coins for long term hold

It is good to hold on long term because the price of the coin will increase and you will make profit depending on how long you hold the coin as long as the coin is a stable and potential coin.
Long term trading because it gives you the freedom to escape the worries of price fluctuations in the market. It also keeps you away from making a panic decision. Besides, long term trading gives you good total of rise in price since the time of your investment. Almost all of the good investors who have earned a fortune in Bitcoin are the long term investors.

Long term trading is indeed a safest way of trading until your investment is in some utility token or a large cap coin. Otherwise, long term investment will leave you with bags to hodl. You just can't blindly go for long term investment by not analyzing the market everyday. You need to keep a check on your coin and its development everyday. Also, it isn't easy to get 100% profit out of a coin even in long term. With market showing short period trend reversal, I will not suggest people to go for long term unless you bought a coin real cheap.

Of course, market control is needed, regardless of the trading strategy. I did not say that it should not be.
Trade in itself requires knowledge and skills to analyze, I think in trading people come not just so otherwise you can just buy coins and put in cold wallet.
and this is really so, because I know several people personally who started with the Bounty of companies and then investing, And as a result, they started trading. In any case, each person evaluates his own abilities and decides what he has enough knowledge.

Hello all, I am engaged in trading and I am often asked by beginners how to trade long-term or short-term strategy.
For beginners, I would advise you to trade long-term, but such trade does not suit impatient people, sometimes you have to wait a very long time, a couple of months, and maybe a year, and sometimes even more.
This strategy has a number of advantages, especially for beginners.
1. Compared to intraday trading, you do not need to be in front of a computer and watch the price 24/7, so the trader experiences less emotional stress.
2. Only when using long-term trading, it is realistic to take above 100% of the profit from 1 deal. With intraday strategy, this is hardly possible (except that a miracle will happen).
3. Unlike intra-day trading, you do not need to be a professional, enough to have basic knowledge.

This is my opinion, I do not force you to adhere to this strategy, study trading if it interests you and find your strategy.
I hope someone helped, If you have any questions, ask always happy to help.. Good luck!BTCBTC

In my opinion, you are generally right. But in my opinion, it doesn't matter you are a proffesional daily trader or holder, a good knowledge about trading is always necessary.

It would be more profitable if we trade long term, that's my opinion. Because I trade in the long term.
I just think if I want to do short-term trading I have to have a considerable amount of money, so that the benefits can be seen clearly.

Because long term holding pays off much higher in returns. With short term trading you can buy free lunch but with long term trading you can find yourself buying whole new car or similar big things..

i also do mostly long-term hodling or trading, removes the short-term noise from mkt volatility, then it's up to ur skill to evaluate the tokens based on their fundamental strength.

Especially now when the market falls, trading intraday is not the best idea. If  need to trade, you need a lot of experience and knowledge in trading.

Long-term deals will give you plenty of time to make more decisions and options for yourself, giving you more opportunities to interact with your fish to make better decisions.

Long-term holding cause it's easy to do it. It's not risk free, but if you
believe in future of Blockchain technology risk is almost negligible.
Confusion comes from so many choices. There are a lot of alt-coins,
many platforms, countless tokens, in which one to invest is hard decision
to make.
Long-term gives us more time for buying. Many of us can't afford to invest
a lot of money from start, what we can do is investing little amounts when we
can, and to try to earn something while we can.

Long term is not applicable to ANY coin sir. The coin you must invest with must have a huge marketcap. As some ICO and coins are silent scams.. Waiting for the right moment to get volume and to dump the investors.

Are you sure? Do you want to tell me that you do not believe in holding for the long term not even for bitcoin, because if you do not believe in any coin to be held for the long term then this means that for you the whole market is nothing more than speculation, if I believed the same as you I know that I will not be in this market, but I'm here because I believe in bitcoin for the long term.

trading has nothing to do with sitting behind your computer 24/7 and if you are doing it or thinking day-trading means that then you don't know what trading is!!!

Are you kidding? I work as a trader in the office and I sit from morning to night watching the charts and looking for deal.
You talk about miracles in trading, and more specifically about Pump. it's not trading but luck or insolation by insider.
This happens only on a crypto currency because the market is young and it is extremely difficult to foresee or you will come on top of growth and you will remain with a coin. you trade in the stock market there is no such.

and show me shit koin, good traders in shit koin do not trade because they are extremely unstable and there is a high risk of losing money.
So you need to learn trading.

1. The first time you need to devote a lot of time to learning, to clearly understand what and how to do. Later, you need to monitor your assets every day to respond to the situation over time. The portfolio of the smart investor is flexible.
2. I agree, sometimes we can take more than 1000%.
3. Still need to strive for progress. A professional, skillful investor can earn more than an unprofessional investor. Here on the forum there are complaints about the loss of money. For example:

Thus, the learning, study, research ...

Actually long term trading is good but to those who are impatient and emotional this is not suitable for them. For me since I am not rich I am more preferred on short term trading since I need to sustain my daily needs also.

Long-term trading is suitable for new entrants into the market, not much experience. Because when you invest long term, you should only invest in crypto top 2 in that market is BTC and ETH. After investing you hold at least a year and not care about exchange rate fluctuations in the market, then surely you will have a high profit.
Maybe you are right! New traders which they didn't have a good experience in trading, it will be good for them to make a long term investment in BTC or ETH, for sure they will make a good profit no matter the point of buying. If we see what happened to ETH and BTC in the later years, we can confirm that each year, these two crypto increases very high, so it will be a very good investment with a high chance of making profit.

You would be sending many newbies to their terminal leave and frustration with your suggestion above, because anyone new to trading, would hardly understand or afford the luxury of waiting indefinitely for profit to come. Also to encourage them that every price is a good buy, is unfortunate. Just how cool do you think anyone that perhaps bought Bitcoin at $19,000 be feeling at the moment, with price at $7500?

I would mostly recommend doing 90% of your portfolio into longterm positions and play around with 10% on shortterm trades.
The good thing about having the 10% on the side is that you can also use that to invest into coins that have dipped enormously and increase your longterm positions.
