Agreed. But i think It's probably lack of knowledge makes them got scam easily than others reason you mention. Most of newbie traders dont have proper idea what they investment for, they do invest when Fomo. So Knowledge is most important thing before final any decision
Newbies most especially are in haste to make money, they only get relaxed when they lose money, crypto space is for those who wants to learn, learning should come first before earning but that's what many don't want to understand, not until they lose
True! The reason why a lot of people get scammed because they are too greedy to invest. They don't have fundamental knowledge about the market. Therefore, they are more likely to get in some offers that seem too good to be true! The important thing about trading is that you have to use your knowledge combined with other skills and techniques!

The truth is IEO is less scamy this days because every investors now understands why IEO is different from ICO where nothing stands in between investors and the project , with IEO all you need is to follow up any top exchanges like Kucoin, Okex, huobi, binance, gate and few others
totally agree on point number 2, most people scammed cause they have no enough skill to analize which project qualified and which project have potency to scamming us.if we have good knowledge in crypto , even that just basic kowledge it will help us alot . so it is why we must dilligent research and analizing project in market.
they feel lazy to read and review project plan that filled on whitepaper. in this document we will see how they will create product or MVP to investors and market. and also when we read whitepaper we will know is it copy or plagiarsm from another project or not. so we can identify earlier to avoid big loss from fake project.

The second point is really problem we have here in cryptocurrency project, Investor many time don't see what that projects is scam or no.
They just look for huge peofit when they buy on ICO, but that is the problem.

Trusting too quick and too much is the main reason many lose their fund in cryptocurrency, immediately they notice a new project as been launched and few days after launching the project is still doing well on any exchange, they will rush to invest in the project, which may not later end up how they thinks.
excessive trust in new things is wrong, especially for investors. many hope to get large profits in a short time. Well, so many people have been fooled by the HYIP system, even today. due to a lack of information, and a lack of research, it is easy for investors to make mistakes in investments.Being able to get scammed can only be effective against the very greedy. This is why when people see something that gives them unbelievable return potential they go for it without thinking and in the end they get burnt.
It is tempting don't get me wrong but when large amounts can be made in a way that's too good/fast to be true should at least become suspicious. Sometimes this 'lure in' effect might not be obvious but then who's at fault for entrusting others with their own money

Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really

The point is that, for those that are destined to be scammed, there is no amount of precautionary measures you give or recommend to them, they will definitely got scammed. I remember three of us have once told a friend of us that the project he wants to invest in is a big scam, very visible even to the blind. Unfortunately, he went behind us and invest. At the end of the day he lost all his money.
Greedyness is what kills faster. We need to realize that scanners don't just scam its either they cut of 80% of the normal price and ask you to pay the 20%. In fact any price is good for them.. And because of our greedy attitude we sent cash to buy a lot and get scammed. Don't be too greedy.....

I agree that the main reason why people got scam easily are greediness, less knowledge about the projects and easily trust in a project lies. Some of the people who got scam are thinking like i'll take this small risk for a big profit comeback maybe the amount that this people risking is little but still it got scam for it. There are also people are giving everything they've got for greediness of big profit but gets nothing which is worse. So it would be best to take learning for every new projects that will come out and analyze it carefully to avoid big loss of money.

So even the profit is too good to be true or the project seems unrealistic they will buy that offer hoping they will gain huge from it. Hence they will end up getting scam and realize their mistakes after losing their hard earned money. Newbies are not the only one victimize by this because even those who've been here for long but greedy to earn are sometimes ending up with scam projects.
