I feel like we are under a security race... The hackers are getting new methods for scam and sophisticated ways of social engineering, and new schemas and sites borns every day. So, with smart people behind the scams and dumb people on the internet trying to get free money that's the perfect environment t have tons of peoples getting scammed easily.

Well said! I was most often times a victim of scam not because of greed, but lack of knowledge in my early years and also trust in purchase of hardware assets on otc groups as well as cryptos. I however efficiently gotten better down the years. But with that been said, greed and desire to get rich quickly remains a major contributing factor on why people easily get scammed
Scammers are always ready to scam peoples whatever or whenever. But people who scammed is equally reasonable. If they are new in investing then first they need to learn where to invest & keep safe their money with secure income.But bottom line is peoples are so gred when they are new in investing arena. The real thing that makes people get scammed us out of greed as you said. Some will see profits and wouldn't take it and many would join projects out if hype from users. I could remember back then a friend got scammed because someone referred her to a project she knows nothing about, when she joined groups and saw people hyping it she thought it was a good one not knowing they were paid for the hype and she ended up being scammed. every human is greedy but to different extents. newbies are usually easily tricked and fall for scam because they cant really say if its true or not. they are majorly moved by the offers and great profits. these also move greedy people when they see offers that are too good to be true. they dont even want to know or research about the project, they just give in.this is simply mental laziness.

Most times, it all starts with greed which causes the person to overlook caution even to the extent of trusting the project hence investing more than he/she can afford.
