People scam easily simply because of they greediness that make them careless and because they don't have enough knowledge about the project, for example the developer of the project really intent to scam their investors and supporters, at first they will not show their true intention and when the project is going good they will show their true motives and scam those investors and supporters. People get scam because they don't have any background in the project and their mindset is just to earn money, they trust so much easily that's why they so easily to get scam.
People scammed because most of them doesn't make any research about team and project. They just read some of content from website. this is commons issue in financial. And, many people just looking for "fast profits". People still believe someone who over investment with high return such as 70%, or even 300% profits.
Usually it is done by newbies who do not understand the cryptocurrency ecosystem. They are only lured, as the OP said: greedy. Want to profit quickly without understanding the process. If they want to learn more patiently and seriously, their investment will not be wasted. So many were influenced by FOMO, finally carried away by emotions so that they ignored the analysis. If so they are just like betting.

Greed, because there are a lot of promise by the campaign and the developer we easily believe that its true
investing a lot of money in the project that is garbage.
No knowledge also is the second reason because of the trend they just go and invest without any knowledge of the said project
Trust because they trust the people in the project which sometimes pretends that the person is a member of the project
they can easily decieved that once they invest , they will soon find out that the person is just impersonating , and not really
what all expected.

yes here I agree with you, greed, and the prospect of quick profit, distracts people from the truth, it also seems to me that people are just too lazy to learn anything about the project, counting on luck

Lack of knowledge and lack of self control and discipline tahts the reality on how the people who involved in luring of scammers,If you are in right decision makings and having the knowledge on how to gandle a situation nin crypto currency then it's good for you and be careful as always as crypto has a lot of risk.
usually also because they hear the words of others without doing research before joining a project because they do not have much knowledge. so I think knowledge is more important than big results because if you have knowledge good results can follow it

I think you got all those points right. For the one thing why people get scammed is that they want to get easy money. Thinking that their investment would jump right away. So they try investing without even studying properly the project.

yes i agree with you. many people plunge into the world of crypto with their greed, thinking it's easy to double their money. then new people entering the world of crypto don't know anything, but dare to invest their money into the new project.
I don't think anyone new to the crypto market is that stupid. they must be investing in assets that are already in the market for the first time. but if someone does as you say, maybe he's really stupid.many project scams and all depends on how we choose and set aside those who are bad. we must continue to grow.

It's not about fast profit but remember so many people are still lack of education about how to know which is a scam coin. Education is needed but some newbies are still following the trend and they are investing based on the trend of crypto. Good point but that is the main target of the management in every project basically people dreaming to become rich once they investing in ICO before but now we also have an IEO which is less scam but definitely without a proper knowledge the high risk to end up loosing money is a high possibility because of the so much trust.
In my opinion, the reasons why ICOs failed are still dominating the crypto token sale processes. They end up loosing and they don't learn their lesson after all the troubles they see on their road. The right feeling can show the crypto investor which management type suits better the investing needs and all they need is the consolidation of knowledge and investing skills. 
People are easily scammed in crypto world with based on the fact that people sees cryptos as a very short route to become rich ie get rich quickly, they were amazed with the turn around and fortunes of pre-ATH 2017 investors thus are easy prey to any forms of juicy promises and bonuses to invest on crypto projects that has no future whereas the gullible ones will fall in easily, I had witnessed many ICOs that deceived investors into buying their coins while dangles them with huge bonuses which laterturns to scam after collecting investors funds they ran into thin air.
This is so true, I really like the key points buttressed briefly here on why people easily get scammed in crypto. Greed takes a major percentage of most scam cases, people invest big in token sales with zero risk management strategy, in a bit to sell at huge profit. When investing in any token sale, do so because you have properly researched on the project and believe the team can deliver the project vision. Be aware that price movement is solely controlled by market conditions, prepare for the best but still expect the worst. Some people just buy into hype with zero background knowledge of the project, that's absurd.
Indeed, it is now very easy to get into a fraudulent project and there are certainly many different factors. I want to add to the above that the market has now changed. By this, I want to say that fraudsters feel more confident and can launch one project after another, so that they could only deceive participants' funds. Fraudsters feel impunity and take advantage of the moment. For us it remains only to be as attentive as possible and try to better choose projects for participation.
Consider also the fact that these investors still continue to not learn their lessons with all these. They're just kinda feeding the beast that will get into their way in the end. It just kinda saddening that these scams will never ever go away just even how these scams emerge outside crypto and even non-crypto related projects.
Too lazy to research is also a contributing factor for this.
Crypto is vulnerable to fraud, because here people can hide through anonymous. They could have displayed photos and documents of other people to launch the action. But in the end we have to realize, even though the project looks legitimate, the potential loss cannot be prevented. Is when a project that is legitimate and has traded its tokens on the exchange at an inappropriate price when ICO or IEO will be called fraud? Too lazy to research is also a contributing factor for this.
