That should be expected as it is a natural principle. Most projects are dead because of poor management by the team members because they lack the expertise in crypto and failed to seek for counsel from experts. Also, projects with no backing product or tangible ideology behind is likely to go down the drain as it will lose the interest of potential investors.

Very true and and I agree with you. There are many similar projects offering the same thing nowadays and they all have their tokens. With tike , the weak ones get filtered out, leaving the legit ones.

In my opinion, the reason why many ICO projects may not have been successful probably because they were not able to meet the soft cap goal  within their timeline because less people were interested in putting up their investment. Marketing and advertising has never been effective to attract and encourage people the way other successful ICO's in the market wherein people in their team where not experienced and lack the capability of handling the project.
Just advertising and marketing attract a large number of both investors and users of the product that holds the ICO.Many projects are dead because the team simply did not prepare properly for the ICO.It is difficult to assemble even a soft cap relying only on confidence investors.

Everything is in your hands. In the cryptosphere, all people are hidden, which is why here comes a lot of scams that are trying to steal your money.
Currently almost ICO scams account for 80-90% of the total number of ICOs, so to choose the right one is a very difficult ICO campaign, so if we do not have sufficient knowledge and experience should find the solution. Otherwise, investing blindly can cost you money.
I agree with your opinion that most ICOs are now fake, which makes investors have to be more careful to choose which projects or ICOs are good for investing, hopefully next year many ICOs will not be fake.

Expertise in the projects and team effort is lacking in the management of ICOs and start up they are up to. If they don't have the ability and expertise then the possibility of failed projects in the long run will make it difficult to run successfully. Another thing is if they don't be true to the community that the group and project created, they will be abandoned by the investors and potential buyers on their start up token.

I think most of projects are totally depend upon its product because growth of project will only happen if they are having strong product and better future plan for development and innovation. Like I would like to one example of essentia you can see their tokens price is keep falling but they keep on their roadmap and development of product so it is 100% sure that they will have growth in future.

The idea that" growth is more important than profit "and the aura of the" new economy " allowed companies to believe in their invulnerability. And, although this level of risk was excessive and even suicidal for some, it benefited the market as a whole because the insolvent business quickly went out of the game. Couple of examples. Company Pets.com spent $ 300 million and went out of business nine months after the IPO. Webvan spent more than $ 1 billion, and went bankrupt two years after the IPO. By 2004, 52% of the dot-coms created after 1996 had collapsed.

Most projects are dead because it's a scam in itself, but the worst thing is that these scams are destroying the market because their scams make investors fear the ICO market, and real projects won't get enough money!

I can tel you that many projects in this space are dead, some are even in the first 300 on CMC that have no active developer behind it because they team have exhausted the fund collected from ICO, for me using my own estimate more than 70% of this coins are dead. What I think is responsible for this is that most of this guys are not a business person, they can write coded, good but to run a business side of things not everyone has that capacity, that is why this trend will likely continue this way. When you see a start up with a burning rate of $500k per month, this is not sustainable IMO

It is indeed alarming if many projects die, but a lot happens. This is because the team is not able to reach the sales limit or may not be able to develop the project, many things that make the project dead and highly recommended. But all this is a challenge for project makers to be better prepared and more creative in order to achieve success.

This is the sad state of ICO people are wiser now they said ico is dead but the truth is investors have already filtered good and bad ICO so those bad ICO will not get funds while the best one will get funded this is the reason why so many projects are dead because they failed to generate support.+

In addition, this was due to bearish market which still in effect that even how beautiful is the ICO is and even their commodities are feasible to the masses still the people mentality will not to invest as they already considered that this bearish market will not favor the market. So better for the ICOs to temporarily to postponed their projects and wait for the bullish market to start.

Apart from the fact that most project are scam and so unreal, the very few ones that are good enough were affected by the market condition which is beyond their  control.
For me, in my conclusion they are able to scam there project due to the hype in market .Some of them says negative thoughts of new launched in where those investors are afraid due to the issues and may affect them.

Most projects die due to lack of investment. Developers hope to collect a large amount, and collect a very small, which is not enough to translate all their ideas into reality.

I think that the reason for the unsuccessful project is not only because of the manager, now the market is blushing, bitcoin and air have dropped in price, all this affects projects. As soon as the market starts to recover, the projects will also be great!

I think that this year many projects died not only because they were originally a fraud, but because they were just weak and the market went down in parallel, which adversely affected them.
