Many ICO projects go bankrupt before it starts. I think the most important factor in this is that the project teams don't take their jobs seriously and the team leaders have a defined future vision.

An incredible amount of projects appeared in the wake of the cryptocurrency hyip that began last year. The crypto industry has begun to attract people who are looking for easy money and use ICO to fool investors and steal their money. After they manage to collect some money, they stop working on the project and leave it. I think this is the main reason .

That should be expected as it is a natural principle. Most projects are dead because of poor management by the team members because they lack the expertise in crypto and failed to seek for counsel from experts. Also, projects with no backing product or tangible ideology behind is likely to go down the drain as it will lose the interest of potential investors.

generally what happens is, the team members from the project are confused about what they will do even though they already have a roadmap, but they do not think of anticipation if things happen that are not desirable, so that initial planning is not appropriate

For me the mean reason for those dead project is the incompetent developers. Also there not reaching what they aim for like they didn't get the soft cap. Project will be abandon if that things happen.

This is due to the market going down at this time. Moreover, when the project still does not offer the product, the investor loses trust and exit from the project.

Is very easy to find out why so many projects ar dead.
The biggest reason is just because a lot of projects are fake... bounty scammers ecc...

This is due to the fact that they do not even collect softcap, and all this is due to the fact that investors are afraid of a falling market ...

Most of the projects are dying now because they cannot cope with the current requirements, because most of the projects try to raise preliminary money and leave the market  Embarrassed

now enough to invest with eth or btc with minimum capital and must be done carefully so as not to be fooled later to transact and look for projects that are very good or can guarantee in the future.

To be more direct, many projects are dead because many developers behind dead projects are interested in making huge amount of money.
However, some developers do not have many years working  experience, vision and plan, and that is one of the  reasons many projects are already dead on arrival.
These set of incompetent developers might raise millions of dollars through icos, yet they will not drive the projects to the mainstream .
From experience ,One can only perform very well in the field he is good at,meaning many projects are dead  as a result of incompetent team.I pointed incompetent team because ,from experience ,these set of amateurish can't even give correct account of the cost of projects they aim to establish .They don't check if there is a competitor on that same project they aim to invest on.They can't bring out new innovation that is different from other projects.
Sometimes, there are so many dead projects on the market because some exchanges have failed to evaluate , and checkmate projects with no defined working product ,and this ugly trend has become a canker worm that keeps on affecting the traders negatively.
Many projects are dead because there is no form of regulation ,meaning if exchanges are sanctioned for listing dead projects, they will stop listing them.
Some exchanges are the owners of dead projects ,and they list those projects freely. This is one of the reasons why dead projects are increasing on the crypto market.

Believe that 70% of dead projects was expected to be dead even by creators of this project.
Just fake ICO to collect some funds as scam everyone.
Another 20% is lack of management.
Rest 10% not enough collected during ICO and closed project
Not all projects want to scam others, they also want to make enough money to develop the project but as you have seen, this market seems to be too deserted, without a new source of money, new people are too scared when they see the bloody market, old investors stuck and can not afford to join. All that is more than enough to explain why the project is almost dead, and the deeper cause for that is the sin of bitcoin, everyone believes in its development and what it brings is a deep disappointment, influence both market and ico projects

Projects are dead because they've been more focused on making a quick buck than solving the real problems that people face and aren't dramatically giving more power to the average person, not just the blockchain geek.. Using and investing in cryptocurrency is still too complicated for regular people. It's also stereotypically associated with risk.

Yes, most projects are dead because of aiming for instant profit. Not focusing on the development of the project to be more quality. This should users or investors to be look out for before investing to find a promising project that will able to grow in the market.

Most projects are dead, not because they are poorly managed, but because they are created solely for the purpose of deception and charlatanism. Not all, but a big part.

I agree. Most of the ICO was created only for quick money making. A lot of scammers in crypto. But the market is self-cleaning and in a few years this market will be completely different. In 90% of Altcoins, the code is 80% copied from other projects

A lot of the recent projects have pretty much died because the ICO process was in a bad state due to the pump/dump in BTC and the tied correlation between BTC and all alts in terms of price movement due to BTC being mostly traded in exchange for alts in the first place.

BTC is like the middlemen between fiat and altcoins.

I'm not surprised. Today, 95% of the published projects are of no interest. Even if the project has lived up to publication on the stock exchange, it is simply useless, because it is garbage. Their price will increase only if there is a common bullish market and people just start buying all the crypto-currencies again.

We overestimated icos at the end of last year, but in fact, this year we slowly found that most icos can't be realized, so people's expectations for icos have weakened, investors have become more calm, icos also because can't get enough money will die a lot.
