Because traditional media do not understand bitcoin at all, they always look at bitcoin in the eyes of traditional currencies, so they are not very friendly to bitcoin.

Media is not even great when it comes to real news from the government related or any kind of news.

In crypto related stuffs well of course cryptocurrencies are the new thing in finance most of the cryptoes have the potential to make the stockmarket and banks go down to bankruptcy. they would make a lot of gossips crypto related just to make the small investors withdraw their money and invest it on insurance companies  rather than crypto.

when ever I found any news about bitcoin it is negative news , i am confused why traditional mass media always against bitcoin ?

Not all news are negative there's some positive too, I think negative news are made by people that hate Bitcoin. They pay media just to make Bitcoin have bad image.

This actually depends on the media itself. There are some media supporting crypto currencies and some of them is against. Never trust the media. They just work to wreak the reputation of crypto currencies for their own faver. Bitcoin is true and there are no bad sides.bitcoin is a scam or money laundering. That is why.they against it.

I think its just a coincidence , there are also some other positive news about bitcoin . The mass media is not against bitcoin nor is with bitcoin , i think its up to the social citizen how they react in a positive or negative way.

Because drama sells newspapers...or clicks on a website. This is also the natural progression of human acceptance of a new technology. First people criticize it as a fad, then they say "well I would never need that", then they start to get curious, then they realize the want it, and finally they realize the need it.

We're in the "well I would never need that" phase with a few people starting to get curious.

Bitcoin's been making its epic run all year long. The mainstream media didn't care until August. And when they were reporting in August the news was all about "epic run, it's a fad, it's a bubble, bitcoin fans are foolish!" Now, in December, we're starting to see more articles about the future, the value, and the staying power of Bitcoin.

It's been fun to watch! Don't worry about the mainstream media...worry about your own personal comfort level with Bitcoin.

I agree with this one. "Drama does sell a newspaper". With that most of the mainstream media tries to make an argument different to what people are saying to create a more dramatic new pieces and big headlines.

I was also suspicious of what I did not understand at first.

Most media is tailored for the uneducated layman, many of which are unfamiliar with new technology, and like cavemen, are scared of the fire that could improve their lives. I think, there is also a chance that there are bank and visa-backed smear campaigns against BTC and other cryptos. Typically when a rival seeks to step onto your turf, the first response is to discredit your competitors, this is something I suspect VISA might be carrying out, by warning about risk of hacks, high transaction fees and the lack of protection in payments.

Even i am thinking the same. Much media calls bitcoins as a "BUBBLE" which can burst anytime, but I don't think so. Perhaps traditionally only the hard paper money is considered as currency and digital currency such as bitcoins are assumed as fake or scam currency. more than half of the media is now changed as bitcoins are spread too vast but yet there are a number of peoples/media which spreads negative knowledge about bitcoins. Hope it is stopped soon.
Media is somehow bias in terms of information they deliver to people. Most of people want the truth but the information they give congested by non factual and no basis information about the system of bitcoin and what it could give to people specially on investments and as a form of trading that could give them a chance to earn and gain profit.

Have you watched the CNBC crypto news January 11 or 12 2018? Media themselves require some consideration, if the vast majority of the media is telling bitcoin is doing great, telling positives and benefit it gives. One could be more well known whether you bash in the bitcoin, it is simply recounting another sort of story while other are telling the standards. Be that as it may, by and large, I see media adore bitcoins, in light of the fact that in the event that they detest, I'm certain they won't try to apply push to explore and make an article or news about it.

They are against for it . We should have atleast  study first about bitcoin rather than to what are people trying to say.  And maybe the media are paid by bitcoin. All the media are influence of money they are  paid to say negative comment  abou bitcoin.  They critize about bitcoin because they are ignorance to know more about bitcoin.

Probably it is only for rating, or maybe media are not looking for complete information , may be their news is only depend on publick oppinion. If they are being neutral then they will do more review about what bitcoin is instead of just focusing on how was bitcoin used in the past.

This is just an assumption or like a conspiracy theory but since traditional media are owned/controlled  by banks and billionaires that's going to be affected by crypto currency of course they want people to avoid it, of course I do not have any proof.

This is why it is better to do research than just listening to someone who is getting paid to what to tell the people.

It actually depends on the media itself. It is true that most of the media has a report or news against bitcoin but there's still some of them who support cryptocurrencies. We all know that media world are controlled by powerful people and they control media to manage our fears to handle prices.

I don't think that the media is against Bitcoin. They used to be against Bitcoin until 2016, but the situation changed a lot this year. For the past many months, the coverage by and large has been positive, apart from a few articles here and there regarding the statements by anti-Bitcoin individuals such as Warren Buffet and Jamie Dimon.

I guess it depends on the media outlet, reporter or journalist. It could also have to do with the government those media outlets work under. I think most people that criticize the crypto world do so because they don't really understand it.
On the plus side, they still dedicate time to it (even if negatively) which is how I learned about it.
Also I think journalist usually uses its headline format to attract viewers which really have a big impact for the whole readers. Most of them are not reading the content of the news which are really misleading. Although its not fake, it would really make a difference in term of information.

Media is associated by the government. I am not that shocked when I see news about negative comments on crypto currencies. The government is against this in the first place. Crypto currencies are gaining strength today so the government can't destroy it so easily, that's why they are performing methods to prevent future development. They cease efforts to weaken crypto currencies by doing so.

They just wanted to get paid before they give bitcoin a good image. Just like an advertisement. News are more likely a tv series of stories and events. You'll become a leading protagonist if you pay them. And if not, your the antagonist.
