At the moment this is not a very smart decision. The ether is now in a difficult period, it dies slowly and can fall to 0. Maybe in a year it will be stable, it will be worth investing in it
I think, now is a good moment to buy altcoin especially Ethereum. Apart from a variety of logical reasons. I also think right now not only Ethereum, all altcoins are good to buy.
At the moment, the level of fraud is high everywhere, both Ethereum and everyone else, but I look at Ethereum as a blockchain technology, and I can say that it is a very successful blockchain, many projects take it as a basis, and my opinion. that Ethereum has a great future, if it were as bad as you described it, it wouldn't be the king of the violas for a long time. not to mention its cheap transaction prices.
Ethereum is my favourite coin which I believes will even be a great one , so no matter what the situation is it will still be number two as it has a very useful product and has really help in making cryptocurrency a way much easy for every idea person to create their own token in developing the crypto and ETH is a must to use in sending those token out .
My reason if why i don't buy ethereum is,instead of ethereum,i will buy bitcoins. Because i know the price of bitcoin now in the market,if buy now and hodling for a long time period,it will be profitable and i will gain too much more.

The truth is, Ethereum no matter what people say, no matter the FUD remains one of the best altcoins out there. Remove ethereum from the picture and you'll see a big gap. Many projects boasting of scalability upgrades have failed in the so claimed TPS, no need mentioning projects because I'm not an FUD agent. I'm holding a reasonable amount of ETH, it's personal decision. Nobody should tell you what to invest in and what not to invest in, if you are good with research. I see ETH in a long run dimension, not some pump and dump coin. My personal opinion.
But since Ethereum has disadvantages as there are advantages as well as other coins , so I think an investment the place to be !
Despite what you say seems right with the current situation but in my personal opinion is different. Although ETH is not the best penny, many ICOs still use ETH as the centerpiece of their transactions. This demonstrates how important ETH is to ICOs.
I think people will just wait to determine the direction of the market before going more into buying. It is a very difficult situation right now in crypto and eth is badly hit falling from an all time high of over $1200 to abysmal low of $100, it might not have seen the bottom yet until real investors appear.

I don't believe in Ethereum because its encryption can be added indefinitely. When they need money, they can even continue to manufacture ETH for sale to customers, right?

You should not buy a coin that has just finished its rapid expansion. Such a coin will inevitably face a large depreciation. So the time of purchase should be last year, and if you miss it, you should not buy such a coin.
