From my experience, it is mostly those guys who are in their 50s and 60s, who are not believing in Bitcoin right now. They always ask how can anything which is not backed by a physical asset can have real value.
They just do not know that bitcoin is backed up by equipment for mining and a huge amount of energy spent!
I have several options: 1. People are just afraid of losing their money, which they earned hard-hard work. 2. People do not look to their future, and they think it's better to go and have a beer with friends and buy a coat for their wife than buy bitcoin 3. People are afraid that bitcoin is a pyramid and fraud. And as they watch TV, they believe what they say there (at least in our country) 4. People are afraid to take risks.

Because many people still knows really about the bitcoin they just hear the rumors from the other people so they are also following that same rumor and that is the human nature.But ig you want to convey to your friend just show the price growth of bitcoin in the past few year.I assure you he will start to invest on bitcoin but what we need to know that we need to invest the money which is affordable to lose for us.
