People scam because of the number 1 problem in our world which is poverty, they are so desperate to do bad things in order to make thier lives change.
many people do scam, they are forced to do it because they do not have money and in my opinion that's just their reason alone, they are lazy to work and some people prestige if their work does not make much money
It is a real complex situation of different reasons altogether. A lot scam for just being lazy at doing the right thing (right way of earning genuinely) but having the feel that they are the Robinhoods (robbing the rich or greedy persons). They scam without knowing the after feel of their victims.

We could not get the exact reason because there are lot of reason to scam other people. These scammers was being scam also so it will lead them to do it to another individual. SOme reason could be achieving their wants and needs in an easy way without doing so much effort. Some will reason out due to financial difficulties and was being in a huge debt from the banks or any lending firms. Some are just their hobbies to just let their interest be in achieving and showing and proving only their worth in that skills. If one gets into the trap of a scammer, then he cannot come out of the same. All that's possible is to loss the amount to his hands and beg going back or else he after cheating goes away. The reason why people scam is to get easy money by tricking others they are selfish and lazy to get a job that they create some scheme like pyramiding and ponzi scams to lure people and they will earn more than they can earn in stocks and bitcoin and if they did their job to lure and invest in them the will run away like nothing happened. Scammers will not stop tricking people so, we should not trust people online or in reality

Most people got scammed because they are lack of idea and knowledge on investing in a legit companies. They are investing without even knowing if it is a legit company or not. They just investing and investing.
Because they didn't have enough education and morale; these are the main problems in my opinion.
Its in human nature, to make things for themselves, I totally agree with a guy above, that proper question would be, why people are so selfish, and anyway there is no single answer on that.
People scam because they are greedy. People are greedy because they are not satisfied or contented on the things they want. They satisfy themselves by tricking people because some people are easy to manipulate.
Honestly, there is always a certain percentage of assholes in any group of humans. Now those scamming assholes found a new scene to make money of so they moved their MLM/Ponzi/Scam bullshit over to our scene. Sadly nothing new, but hopefully we can get rid of them.
