People scam because of poverty, or even wealthy people do scam because of the obsession of money, they take advantage to other people in illegal ways for they are desparately want to get money that satisfy them.

The things that is impossible to do or to have becomes possible because of some marketing strategies and we try it without and feedbacks or confirmations. After that, they need some money for this thing for that thing then eventually you will receive nothing. That's it peiple are not well informed about the business they are entering. Other people doing scam or phishing to each human kind in order to take advantage of your weakness and to take over something in you like your asset of bitcoins or scamming your savings of fiat.they do this for easy money earning and not working with perspiration.
maybe they do scamming people because they cant get a job to earn money. thats why they do scamming to get easy money and to feed their family and friends.
There are a lot of factors, but I think the number one reason is that because of the mind set of easy money. Yes there's the risk of capturing but other people see it as the best gamble to earn money in the short period of time.

Also people are scammer because of greediness and we know that if you are greedy to money you will do everything to have it even in the wrong way. The love(greed) of money is the root of all evil.
why people scam from most of their cases give reasons for the necessities of life and tempted for money, this time of time that hard to find work to make money not a few people who do that.
This business for people makes a profit, they get what they need not quite the right way, and that would get something that people do not always of course cheat.

Scammers are upgrading with their modus operandi and I don't know what's the real ideology behind it. They just experienced on how to earn that quick from the hardship of others, we can't stop it and they are living their lives through scamming. But if they believe in karma they will stop, just don't do to others what don't you want to happen to you. Simple as that, if they don't believe in karma, someday there will be a return to what they have done.

Fraud is very weak and lazy people. Instead of working and earning people's bread, people want to do nothing without making a profit. So it does not happen that to receive dividends you need to invest your energy and time into work, then everything will be ok. People got scam because they didnt review all about some initial coin offering so people should need to get more knowledge before invest becaude knowledge is very important if you dont have knowledge your money will become stone try to read and read and invest if you have a lot of information and techqs about investing. Because some people are too greedy too selfish they only think about themselves they want to earn something that they not worked for it, scammers are like corrupt politicians.
You're making too much assumptions about people. How many people, even rich, spend $10,000 on their pets? I don't even really get the tread, are you saying people scam because they are down on their luck? No, people scam because they are bad people. Scammers are bad people.
This world is cruel you regret if you help someone and at the same time if you don`t help them so you get stuck between two fires, but the best thing to do is to help annonymously.
