If you are okay with the shape / quality of the translation, are you so kind, please, to add the translation to OP?
Of course.
I trust you, Husna QA and AOBT here to provide a quality translation, so I've not applied a native reader check here and Merit from 4 (3?) different local board members also indicate it's a quality translation.

Although some persons commenting on this thread are finding some little errors to the best of their knowledge but then I must say it's been a very educative post and I personally jlhabe learnt a few things which before now I didn't have a good knowledge about and for me now it's a new exposure and I have learnt and will make sure to applying it to my next transactions, I will make sure to be careful to noticing this things with the address and know why transaction fees will be high or lower.

Learning is something that we do everyday and like it's been said learning never ends so we keep learning and am sure it's one of the essence of this forum.

Bitcoin transaction fees are currently a bit lower compared to last week but still very high, of course, where saving every Satoshi is a good idea.  Smiley

Indeed. I'm currently looking at 56 sat/vByte for high priority transactions. It's such a breather to see this number after all these days of exorbitant fees. Although unconfirmed transactions remain high with almost 300,000 still pending confirmation, this would hopefully subside as well.

Despite this, however, saving on fees is always a good thing. Every Satoshi counts. And it's sometimes odd to hear complaints about high fees from somebody who himself/herself is not even exhausting simple and available means to lower it like using SegWit address.

SegWit involves series of actions that changes the manner at which data are stored, for that reason helping the Bitcoin network to run faster. It is the quality of being better than before over the present Bitcoin blockchain to make smaller size needed for storing transaction in block,it also become different in Bitcoin transaction design where the witness details was taken away from the input field.

The reason why people should be using SegWit address is because SegWit is greatest of the best known Bitcoin address format that nearly all businesses and wallet support, beginning with number wand contains 26 - 36 character,  The mid transaction fee and time might be higher for Bech 32 which is to be determined by the way of blockchain  transaction.

SegWit address is a Bitcoin transaction to become that be between transaction signature and Script s (witness data) from inputs to outputs data. It's essential achievement is to solve non-international transaction malleability and make way for Bitcoin scaling.
Lesser transaction fee with SegWit  when sending Bitcoin which are based on the size of bytes .

Hello Publictalk792  Smiley

Unfortunately, it's currently not available to apply for doing new translations, as stated in my OP below my list of translations:

Please note: reserving new translations is not available currently.

It's due to reported abuse in Meta (you can read more about it here). We are currently elaboration a solution how to prevent abuse.  Smiley

Re: Why people should be using SegWit addresses

The whole essence of Segwit addresses is now very much appreciated in the forum because of the mempool congestion. If you look around, some campaigns which were only accepting legacy addresses have shifted and has begun to require only Segwit addresses.

It is now I have understood and appreciated the essence of this topic. Well done @1maiu.

I'm hoping so as well.  Smiley
As we are speaking, Bitcoin's network is still very congested and saving fees, especially from many inputs, can be crucial here.
Even if today's fees are getting "a bit more moderate" now, it might hurt a lot, reviewing in 5 years (for example), when Bitcoin's price is probably at 200k USD, how much we paid for fees back in December 2023.  Cry
SegWit is a very nice option to save fees easily.  Smiley
