Why shouldn’t we be concerned? Seems like everyone on here is extremely confident will see a bounce back to the December highs and then surpass them, but this dip/crash is now 5 months long. So I’m curious as to why so many of you are confident?

Considering the present time of the year that we are right now, i don't think December highs can be reached because the market has been retarding since the beginning of the year and nothing has changed so far. Cryptocurrency is seen as a new innovation, and as such has the tendency of existing on a longer term - This i think brings confidence in the minds of investors.

Why should we be concerned? Should be the question....If we know in what we are investing in and what does represent we shouldn't be concerned. I think Bitcoin is our future and crypto currencies is and are going to be a revolutionary thing.

Because the sudden price drops are considered as price crashing.

If you have been here for awhile prices before is obviously much lower before. That is why most of the old timers here doesnt care too much as of the current price drops. We have been operating very much fine before with the btc price lesser thab $1000.

Wel also know why the late part and earliest part of the year is the best time for bitcoin's economy

Well im not one of those people who are confident the price will surpass the last ATH this coming december, however im an investor who are willing to wait until the market recover. Last year's bull run cant be an indication that the history will repeat for this year hence we should not rely to much to the previous bull run especially we are heading now for the last quarter of this year and no major changes are happening.

For me if you truly believe in cryptocurrencies then you have to patiently wait for the right time to take profit. Lets spread positivity and be bullish in the future of cryptos instead of wondering when the bull run will going to happen.

Although this year has been a very volatile year for bitcoin, but one thing has always remained whenever this amazing digital cryptocurrency goes down, it bounces back much stronger than it was before. This is hope that keeps most crypto enthusiasts like myself who are resilient and have compelled us to develop a strong faith in this amazing cryptocurrency called bitcoin.

Cryptocurrency has dipped about 10 times this year and has never bounced back stronger than its last peak.... This is exactly the opposite of what you just said. I do believe that for the long haul we will see amazing growth, but it's gonna be loooong(cat).

What crash? The crash has ended months ago, back when we saw a failure to break 6k USD and a run towards 10k. We are in a time of stabilization before another huge move.
We all would love to see the price reach some crazy numbers like 20k USD or more, but it has never been like that after a correction. Last year we saw a huge jump in value to the point when BTC was greatly overbought. It will take time before the market gains enough confidence to do it again.

For sure, it was all hype when BTC was at $20k and way overpriced. Average Joe   came into crypto without thinking.

Now, this is shakeout period for people who came without thinking.

I'm still confident because as I see each year the average price of bitcoin is still growing. I'm not looking in too short-term speculations, for me, it is long time investment what I carry since 2012 and I believe next year average price will be higher than this year and after 5 years my small investment in 2012 will become huge capital.

Bitcoin is a digital currency and it use case is still been discovered as the day go by, we understand the fact that the more used a digital currency is, the better for it value. now the world is sliding into cashless society and when that time finaly comes, then bitcoin will become the world currency, guess what happens to bitcoin holders then, so you see what my confidence lies now, i am looking at the long run of bitcoin and not just the now and now.

I think this question is for yourself, of course. if you have full experience in this industry and have seen various incidents of phenomena both growth and major accidents. you will have conclusions and especially speculate in trading to get quick profits. so if your knowledge is limited, of course there are many questions in your head.

The reason why I am still confident is because we have not yet reached the month of November. Base from the graphs of the last few years. The month of November is the mean time of which bitcoins starts to pump drastically. With that said, I also have faith in bitcoin because I only see this situation as a long term correction.

For me, I know for a fact that cryptocurrency is highly volatile and its price fluctuates a lot, it may be declining now perhaps due to those who go panic selling and the banning but I still believe in its potential and its market will continue to grow. My faith also with crypto is not only with the price of it as assets but the technological advances it offers.

This bear market is a death for many people and their coins and I am thinking how much lower can we get from here? Worse case scenario we can go down 50% but after that, the potential to go up 1000% is far greater because we are already at over 75% down since the January Peak. It has to rebound at some point. If everyone leaves then Bitcoin will be dead and I doubt it will die if companies all over the world are busy building infrastructure projects and countries are bothering to regulate it. If it was dying no government would be concerned about making regulations for it, but when will we see it go up again? Only God and the Whales know that.

Bitcoin has gone through so many ups and downs and still managed to survive. We have hope in the cryptocurrency and the technology behind it. If you don't believe all this, check the statistics and behavior patterns for the previous years. Bitcoin goes through a turmoil, its price reduces and finally it manages to show a hype and increase the price.

Personally i don't really believe about that because the dip market is staying too long on the bottom.
In the past years, crypto market have bullish market few times, but we don't really see that in this year. Maybe in 2019 crypto will recover.

Because this is crypto investments and trends can change with time but one thing for sure is that the market will be restored with time so don't sell cheap no matter what or else you will leave to regret it someday.

invest to survive then most will be useful. So I hope we don't have to worry about that time. Technology develops every day faster and foolish to assume that everything will remain the same. The digital era has come and the bank will be replaced soon. Bitcoin has all the opportunities to reach a high level before and even more. So we don't need to worry about all that. Staying calm is the most appropriate thing.

It is not that people here are not concerned. Of course we are. Our hearts break everytime bitcoin takes a dip and our confidence shaken too. But when one found himself in a pool of information, knowledge and market studies, that confidence bounces back.

The difference perhaps is that many of us have confidence backed with analysis and historical data of our favored cryptocurrency. And numbers do not lie, that's why probability is always a mathematical calculation. I can not speak for others, but my stay with bitcoin was never leaned on sheer luck but analysis and continuous following of bitcoin's progress.
